The thing is that face masks do clean your skin very deeply with cleansing clays; Lush’s fresh masks also have effective fruit and vegetables for soothing, detoxifying, reviving and lots of other ‘ings. But the BIG reason we use them is that they make us look younger for a while; they lift and tighten the skin and smooth lines. (Not for ever, for a few hours, but often that’s as long as we need, isn’t it?)
