Inspired by the beauty of an English country garden.

In helping to create the Lush Spa Synaesthesia treatment, Mark Constantine took inspiration from birdsong, folk music and quaint country cottages. The team thought up Synaesthesia to create a multi-sensory massage experience that transcends the physicality of other massages. This was crafted to take customers on a sensory and emotional journey that would complement the physical experience.

We've used common links between essential oil blends and certain states of mind to create our Synaesthesia words. Each word is qualified to make your massage positive, defined and affecting. These behavioural prescriptions, as we call them, have been specially created with specific blends of essential oils to help you to achieve the desired effect.

During the initial chat with your therapist, you'll be asked to choose two words that will allow us to tailor your experience to your desired state of mind.

Sensational

Synaesthesia rouses each of the five senses throughout the 90 minute treatment. As well as the physical and the aromatherapeutic sensations, Simon Emmerson's compositions will layer the unique atmosphere with bespoke sounds and music, relaxing the mind as you lie in the muted colours of the calm surroundings. At the end of the treatment, we'll make you a specially blended cup of tea to drink as you collect yourself. You'll leave feeling like you've undergone a transformation, both inside and out. Your therapist will also give you a Bubble Bar stone with your chosen scent, exclusive to Lush Spa, so that you can take your experience home with you.

A Signature Treatment

This was the first treatment offered by the Lush Spa and it remains our signature piece. Like our fresh, handmade products, we wanted our Spa treatments to be personal, exciting and bold, with just a little touch of magic.
