I cant live without herbalism. It has an unusual texture which exfoliates really gently and leaves my skin smooth and clear, calmimg redness. AMAZING.

I like this, don't love it but like it. This is a maintaining product, not a saver. If you have spots I recommend Dark angels and Fresh Farmacy to get rid of them. This then maintains clear skin but isn't 'tough' enough to make a huge impression.My skin isn't oily but I use this daily so it is very claming on the skin which I like, it leaves my skin buttery soft, the only bad thing is that because it contains vinegar it does smell a little like sick :(

My skin has improved ever since I started using this product. At one point My skin was very shiny and spotty. But the shine has gone and the spots faded. I use Herbalism along with Fresh Farmacy its a great pair to tackle oily skin with!

I was recommended this by the lovely Lush staff and it works a treat, My skin hasn't looked this good for ages. Not oily, spots clearing up and redness reduced. fantastic! I will be buying a pot of this soon once the tester runs out (free testers - yum) also a little goes a long way.

Ah, this takes me back! the first lush ite i ever bought about six years ago now goodness! Love the smell and looks so fresh but didnt really make my skin any different

I use this with Grease Lightning and Vanishing Cream, and get great results. Initially found it a bit hard to mix up the right amount into a paste, but now I apply it in small amounts directly to a wet face, and find this to waste much less product. Cleared up my skin a treat, but without drying it out (my skin is very sensitive so this is a problem to me). The smell is different but not unpleasant, and you soon get used to it. Great product, Lush.

Initially the texture freaked me out a bit =\ I was a bit confused but then I gave it a go and I think it's brilliant, my face is clear and glowing and it doesn't dry it out, which is generally a problem for me! It's a very good price for what it does =].

I was shown how to use it in a lush shop and saw results quite quickly. You only have to use a tiny pinch with some warm water so the small tub will last for a good while. The smell is neutral to me, and doesn't leave a very strong scent. I've been using it twice a day combined with Tea Tree Toner water for a couple of days now and its had great results on the red and spotty areas of my skin. The effect isn't immediate but persistance on using the product works!

While I don't have 'problem' skin, I do tend to get small raised lumps on my chin and forehead, and this cleanser has erased them in the week and a half I've been using it!! I now have lovely smooth skin all over... and some people say the smell is weird, but I love it - it reminds me that I'm using REAL ingredients! So much fun to use too. Amazing product yet again.

ADORE this cleanser!! I agree with other reviews, the smell isnt spectacular but its called HERBALISM :) its going to have a nature-ish smell to it. But for what it does, its great, I have gotten compliments from friends on how good my skin looks... been using it a month now and the pot is only half empty.

i tried this a few years ago and didnt really like it, but i decided a few months ago to give it a second chance and i LOVE IT!!! the smell is a bit funky, but it makes my skin feel so soft, and my vanishing cream sinks in so much better after washing with this in the morning. will def be using this in future

I had tried a generous sample of this. I was very hesitant on this cleanser and it took me awhile to try the sample. The smell is horrible, but it;s something that I could get use to. The sample lasted me a few weeks and OMG! I love it! It's amazing! Whenever I was using this for a couple weeks, I did not break out at all! It was the best thing ever! I just recently got a tub as a gift and just ordered another one! Thanks a lot LUSH!

I love this cleanser!! I have teenage, oily, spoy prone skin and this is just great for it! It helps with my breackouts and oil control. I know some people have said it smells bad but i personally love the small, its really frash and clean.

I bought this product last week as I have had a outbreak of little spots on my T- Zone and was using AOBS but found it was doing nothing. I went into Lush and was reccommended Herbalism. I have been using it for a week now morning and night and my spots on my forhead have gone down a lot and some have even gone. I have combination skin with sensitve cheeks and a oily T - zone prone to spots and blackheads.

Bought this because it was part of a special offer, the girl in the shop told me it was very good for sensitive and combination skin so I pretty much had to try it. Smell is a bit odd but I quite like it, I use it in the morning and it really wakes me up, my skin is getting lovely and soft and clear and its not too harsh. Also - a little bit goes a really long way so it lasts a while too

I have to admit I was skeptical but thought id give it a go. I have mire combination skin than oily but, teamed with tea tree water, the new full of grace serum and celestial this has worked wonders for my congested skin. The first 2 or 3 times I used it it did seem to make my spots worse but I persevered and now my skin is lovely :-) I think it gets the muck out so well that a couple of initial spots are inevitable. V much reccommend this, even as a once a week exfoliating treatment. Love it!!!

Herbalism has worked wonders on my skin! I have a very oily t-zone and chin with a few visible scars and uneven skin tone. This gives a lovely, gentle scrub and it makes my skin feel so clean & soft! My spots are a LOT less visible & after having an abcyss on my chin, this has been a god send! I use AOBS in the morning, Herbalism at night & follow both with tea tree water & vanishing cream. I've completely replaced all of the acne medication i was on & could not be happier! Thank you Lush!

Uggg i really really wanted to like this but IT MADE ME BREAK OUT i was like maybe its something else so i waited for my skin to clear up then tried it again and the same thing happened to me so yeaa that suckedrnBut now i use it to expholiate my body but i will never ever buy this again

I love this product, although it smells rather vinegery, it worked well at clearing my bad skin and worked as a gentle exfoliater. It is a must now in my toiletries...teamed with Fresh Farmacy and Vanishing Cream!

Pretty good! I prefer FF, but this is really good. Except the smell, which my mum seems to love.

I have combi/sensitive skin with clogged pores which tends to be more dry than oily. I have tried Aqua Marina, AOBS, Dark Angels and Ultra Bland, and whilst they worked well, they would only sort out one of my problems at a time. I tried herbalism on a whim because it was one of the few cleansers that I had yet to try, though didn't expect much as I thought it was meant for oiler skin. Now I wish I'd been recommended it earlier! My skin is now matte, even, soothed and incredibly smooth. Win!

Worked nicely as a cleanser but didn't really help with spots, after a while I also started to use it less frequently, but it gives a good scrub all the same.

Fantastic product! It gently exfoliates my combination skin, yet soothes it and evens out my skin tone (: the smell is a bit strange at first, but you get used to it, and I personally love herbal scents. Thanks Lush! xx

Brilliant cleanser. Lush you definitely under-promote this product!! After AOBS, Fresh Farmacy and Aquamarina, this is the perfect cleanser for my skin be it, greasy/spotty/sore/dry. I've only just discovered this, don't you dare discontinue it Lush!!

This product is amazing! It leaves my skin looking radient and clean, i still get the odd spot, but there has been a dramatic difference since using this product, i use it with "vanishing cream" to get my best result :)

I think this is a good cleanser for oily, combination and T-zone skin like mine. It calms redness well and gets rid of the extra oil in my skin, but it's not very strong so I might try Dark Angels when my skin gets really bad every once in a while.

The smells alright once you get used to it, but this did absolutely nothing for my skin! Didn't help blackheads, spots, scars, greasiness, nothing. Tried AOBS as well and nothing doing, but I search on! Wish me luck. :L

I used Herbalism for 2 months and though it was easy to use and the tub lasted ages....it never really helped my spots!! I'm now onto Angels on Bare Skin....*fingers crossed*

I have combination skin, and this is the first cleanser from Lush I tried out. Once you get the hang of it (you only need a pinch at a time), and the initial strong smell of nettles and vinegar, this stuff is great! Very gentle on skin, doesn't dry it out like soap, and makes it feel very soft. I use it every day, and still have loads left in the pot. One pot lasts months! Just remember to wash all of it off, or you'll look like shrek!

In the beginning this cleanser is hard to use, but once you get the hang of it, its very easy. My skin is now smooth and the porosities are getting smaller.

Bought this yesterday & used twice since, so I can't say anything about the long-term effects of this yet, but I can say that this is amazing. I have combination skin, which feels very tight and dry after cleansing (even after just washing it with water), which I don't mind as I use a moisturizer anyway. But when I washed this off my face, I was completely amazed as my skin was silky soft! Only downsides are the smell and that it's quite messy, but it's great stuff & 100% natural which is great!

Favourite Lush cleanser that I have tried so far. It makes my skin feel nice and clean and doesn't dry it out like other cleansers. I use a small fingerfull which is enough for one use and it lasts for ages, great value. Easy to apply and I like the herbally smell, it's very earthy and natural to me.

The scent of vinegar is quite strong in my pot. It takes time to get used to it. The forestly green colour and cleaning effect are fine. Herbalism feels like a health product to your skin.

I absolutely love this product, it made my existing spots disappear and made my complexion perfect within a week, now I have a soft, blotch free and clear complexion all my friends are jealous of! THANKS LUSH!

For some reason (unbeknown to me) my skin turned from sensitive and easily dried out to having an extremely oily T-zone in a matter of weeks. This meant AOBS wasn't quite up to the mark for it so I was recommended this. Sadly, the results aren't nearly as good as I'd hoped. The rest of my face is left feeling soft and clean admittedly, but my T-zone still feels oily and I'm still getting nasty spots appearing beneath my skin. Next in line, Dark Angels!

Amazing. This has finally evened out my complexion and within a week my spots have healed up and dissappeared with no new breakouts. Also, I used to go out to clubs and weekend and wake up the next day with a horrible blotchy face, and after using enzymion that is a thing of the past. Use this with Vanishing Cream for a perfect base under foundation.

Not so keen on the smell, very herbally, and the texture is quite crumbly and hard to spread across your face. However this is the most amazing cleanser for spotty skin! It totally cleared up my spots within just one week!

'm in LOVE! I have been using prescription cleansers and gels for acne which has now gone but until now have not found anything else that will keep the spots at bay. ENTER HERBALISM! I have found the a fab routine - Dark angles in the morning/ ultrabland in the eve followed by herbalism, eau d'roma and vanishing cream! 3 times a week I use cosmetic warrior and a tea tree toner tab. For anyone who has dry skin one day and spots the next would totally recommend!

I like that this hasn't one unatural ingredient and as for the scent i quite like it! I have severe cystic acne and didn't want to use something to harsh an exfoliant but this is gentle enough to use everyday - it lifts the dead skin cells and therefore prevents breakouts, its also good with calming existing spots and fading scars. Been using this for a wile now with great results. Mix a penny sized piece with water and spread over damp skin. Rince then pat dry. simple!

This product is amazing. I used to get really oily skin every now and then but once i started using herbalism my skin was fresh and clean. One tiny downside, once i didn't wash it all off properly and had green patches on my face.

This works amazingly on my skin (teenage combination with spots now and again), although it smells horrible :( Ah well, the results (soft, matte skin) are worth it :) And you go the colour of Shrek when it's on your face, but it washes off really easily!

I have always been quite lucky with my skin, until recently!! I suddenly broke out all over my face with "mild acne". My skin looked pretty bad, so i thought i'd buy this cleanser after reading some of the reviews! And i can honestly say that in TWO DAYS my skin looks so much better! The spots are starting to fade, and are alot less obvious already! I'm gonna keep using it until they're all gone!! THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!

Wooohoooo! My Herbalism just arrived. I've tried it for the first time this afternoon and now my skin feels soft and clean! I do have bad acne so I'm really hoping it will clear it up! I'll let you know how I get on in the next week or two!

I am not so sure about this product, it does feel nice but I don't find that it cleans very well. It doesn't wash my makup off very well because when I cleanse afterwards there is always alot of makeup coming off on the cotton wool.

I love this product, actually makes me look forward to washing my face. Makes me feel, fresh clean and ready to start the day. It has noticably improved my skin and never get new outbreaks. rnMy only suggestion to be to make a bigger pot! :)

I got a sample of this some time ago and i must say whoever gave me that sample is Amazing! Because ever since that, ive kept buying it! This made my skin soo much better, clearer and softer! The smell wasnt so bad, though ive never really complained so much about smells, i do like this one!rnx

I was given a sample of this a few weeks ago, when I first started using it I didn't notice a difference until a few days after but all I can say now is WOW this stuff is the best I have ever used and i'll continue to buy it from now on, thank you Lush for producing this amazing product

This is excellent stuff. Smells herbal and green, like newly clipped lawns, surrounded by herbal borders with thyme and rosemary. I feel really fresh and clean after using it, yet it doesn't dry out my skin. If you don't like the smell, put on some flying fox temple balm just before washing, then it smells more like a garden full of flowers.

I've got a tendency to break out, but I also have sensitive skin. Herbalism works really well for me and unlike normal cleansers it doesn't dry my skin out after one wash.

Amazing... until my dad thought it had gone moldy so threw it out :( brand new and everything. Oh well, you win some you lose some. Just not strong enough for my oily skin in the end, but I still use it now and then.

I've had the worst skin ever before: combination skin, dry red patches on my cheeks and a lot of tiny breakouts all over face due to exercise sweating. I needed something to balance the oil, reduce the look of pores and deep cleance my skin, yet be gentle enough not to dry it out AND work as anti-bacterial cleanser too and this is the stuff! The skin on my face improved dramatically! I can not recommend this enough. I've tried Aqua-Marina too and AOBS - Herbalism is the best!

I have T-zone oily skin and I love Herbalism. The smell is very odd, very herbaly indeed, but the more I use it, the more I seem to like the smell. It's very gentle but efficient on my skin and my skin problems have decreased enormously after I started using this! So thank you Lush for my clearer skin!

Please write a review rnI have roseacea and have never found anything to help ease red sore blotchy skin on my face.I used herbalisim combined with celestial and the results are amazing.The redness has almost gone completly and the spotty raised areas have really calmed down.I have been using this for a week everyday,but the result was different overnight.I have had everything going from the doctors to help to no avail,if you have rosceacea try this its brilliant!!!!!!! I had never used a cleanser before & this was recommended to me as i have quite an oily t-zone & was also prone to breakouts around my chin & mouth area & WOW this is just fantastic, its very good at soaking up excess oil, leaves my face feeling very clean & i haven't had a single spot since i started using this 2 months ago. I love this so much. I suffered from acne for years and had tried everything you could think of, including things from the doctor. Herbalism is the only thing that ever sorted out my spots, and it gives your skin a nice glow to boot!

Got mine wet and ruined it - don't take it in the shower with you put a bit on a spoon and take that in. In fact always do that and always keep the lid tightly on. There's no preservatives and it is important to keep my precious Herbalism safe. Seriously, I LOVE this stuff. Wore no makeup to school and got soo many compliments like ooh your skin looks amazing! Makes it clear and matte i love it, it just went soggy and was rubbish and quite frankly gross - mould grew o it! :( x

Herbalism is actually a miracle worker. My skin clears up within a few days of using it and is great for sensitive skin (unlike many other spot treatments Ive tried). Also, when you get a spot try applying it as a thick paste just over the spot overnight (a bit like a mini face mask). The spot will be much smaller and less red when you wake up. I can't live without this stuff, its wonderful! :)

I love this cleanser! It removes all makeup and leaves my oily, spot prone face clean, matte and smooth. It also smells gorgeous and lasts ages.

The smell of this product of reminds me of vine tomatoes, sort of mediterraneany. It definately makes your face feel clean and dirt free, scrubs away all traces of make up but for me it doesn't seem to have an actual effect on my acne prone skin other than giving me that 'fresh' face feeling.

I love herbalism! its the first cleanser I've ever used and i absolutely love it! I've used, from ocean salt to aqua marina to fresh farmacy to angels on bare skin, none of which have ever worked for me. I use herbalism alongside coalface and dark angels to treat my very oily skin and it leaves me glowing and radiant. I would recommend herbalism to anyone with oily skin prone to spots to use it :) It's great.

Brilliant cleanser, have been using this for a week. at first it was a bit confusing to figure out how to use it but when you get the hang of it, its so good! I love the smell! so earthy! I always rinse off well but to get rid of any traces I spray on tea tree water then use cotton wool and Im getting clearer skin. This works, I have really oily skin and this is helping sort it out. i love this cleanser.very much.i was introduced to angels on bare skin first but i think it didn't quite work on my skin.so i tried this one after that and i am very happy for what it has done to my skin. well, i haven't got any breakouts since then.and it doesn't dry out my skin either.i love herbalism!

I was given a sample but It didn't work for me. I have dry/sensitive skin with occcasional spots and it made my face sore and I ended up with more spots than before. I'm sticking with AOBS. This'll probably benefit those with more oily skin which isn't sensitive.

This is a really good product nice smell and it works! I find it worked better than Angels on bare skin which I was recomended before herbalism.rnbut I find if I don't mannage to wash it all off it tints my skin green and makes me look ill!rngreat for getting days off college LOL

this stuff is amazing for my combination skin. it takes a while to get used to the smell though. use it with breath of fresh air toner and vanishing cream for amazing results.

This works really well on my skin, and keeps my spots down. but it stinks. seriously, it smells like cold green teabags. "/rnalthough, i am slowly growing to love the smell so, its not all bad, otherwise i would have given 5 stars.

I agree with those who say they love the smell - I think its sublime! It reminds me of standing on hillsides in the middle of nowhere yodeling...well maybe not yodeling but still - fab! Definitely has a gradual effect on oily skin and spots. Lush continues to amaze me with their sheer magnificance :D

Seriously, I don't know why people are complaining, I just LOVE the smell. I really delicate and reduce my redishness and works great with my oily skin. I wasn't so sure about it since it makes my cheeks a bit dry, but I just use moisturizing. Absolutely, my must have product! and once and for all, LOVE THE SMELL, thank you Lush for this

I love herbalism! when i first started using it i didn't really like the smell much, but now i've grown to love it, because it's been so good for my skin. I've tried loads of products to help get rid of my blemishes, and herbalism is the first to actually make a difference! I'm definitely a lush convert!

I for one loved this product it made my skin feel really smooth and when i used it i could feel it working straight away, it made a few of my blemishes calm down and less red but my only complaint for this product was the smell not one most lush smells but it works wonders well for my skin anyway

This is a really nice clencer to use! However i find that you need a little bit of patience to gain full benifits of this product. The results are well worth the time and effort, i found my skin to be very smooth and it does tackle oily skin, butnot as effectivly as my ususal clenser (coalface).

i havent actually used this product yet- i really wanted to praise the staff at the lincoln store. i saw this and was like "its green, what?" almost immediatly the helper was there showing me how it works and also explaining some of the other products i wasnt too sure about! they were also very friendly and helpful whenever i go in there.(which, being a lush addict is often!) i ended up buying it and also BIG which im looking forward to trying! anyway a big thanks to the staff at lush :)

Wow! This stuff is truly my skin savior, and the only product I have ever used to clear up my spot prone, oily, dermatitis prone sensitive skin. My skin is left soft, matte and feeling incredibly comfortable. Please don't ever ever stop making it!!!

I love this product. It’s the only cleanser I’ve found that doesn’t dry out my skin or make me break out in spots. My skin feels so fresh and clean after using but it is a bit hard to use at first. I also love that it exfoliates as well as making my skin less oily and spot free. It lasts ages (I’ve had it for over a month and still have loads left) so it’s great value for money. Please never discontinue this as it is my skin saviour.

I have oily skin extremely prone to spots even when on medication and i came across this and since i have had barely any spots. i adore this product and wont consider buying anyother cleanser. Definately worth a try give it 2weeks it makes a massive difference.

I really like this. My face usually appears to have spots on sometimes and I brought this and they dissapered in an instant. I don't lke the smell very much but I keep purchasing item because it make my skin feel like a babies bottom!!

I have quite qily skin in places which is prone to break outs, but after using this product for about a month my face looks so much better! It feels soft and looks really fresh and clear. People have actually been commenting on how great i look! I just wish is would take off my eye make-up too.

I really like it. has a fresh smell not nice but hard working. I wouln't recommend it to take your make up off but to cleanse the skin of oils and toe it. It's the stronger version of AOBS

This is a bit too drying for my cheeks, but it clears the face well. It's easy to use and the scent is not bad. Herbalism is one of the best (if not the best) cleanser I have used.

This STINKS at first but it sooo good for oily skin. It makes my skin sooo soft people always comment on it. PLus it makes you skin and spots less red. 5/5!!!

Herbalism smells really nice and not too strongly of herbs which is good for someone, like me, who doesn't really like those scents. I asked for a tester to compare with AOBS and I tried it dry but realised I had to make it creamy first and it worked better than with AOBS. I don't have oiy skin so I guess I can't say anything to that ut what I thought was a bit wierd was that on the top of my creamy-mix was a bit of yellow oil...

Leaves skin nice and soft! You may find the smell a little unpleasant but I personally don't mind it. It hasn't worked keeping my spots at bay but it's certainly helped keep my skin soft and I love how it feels on the skin.

I have been using this for several weeks now and I am really impressed with this product. I have only benefited from it so far. My combination skin is very well balanced and the appearance of my pores has greatly improved.rn Five stars indeed!

It takes a bit of getting used to - applying it and particularly removing it can be a challenge at first - but it definitely works for me. It doesn't get rid of all spots, but does clear up my skin better than facial washes and leaves it nice and soft.rnrnPlus there is something very satisfying about cleaning all the green gunk off your face.

When i bought this i was a bit sceptical but after a week of using it i havn't looked back it's amazing my spots have all but gone and has an odd but refreshing scent ^^ thankyou lush

I'm pretty impressed with this product. I have adult acne BUT also have psoriasis. Anything which make psoriasis better makes spots worse and vice versa. I've been using this for about 6 months and am really happy. It's really cleansing but not astringent do it doesn't sting and irritate dry patches. Also the texture is gently exfoliating but not too harsh. Just don't stop making it!rn

I love Herbalism. I used it as a teenager when I had horrible spotty sore skin. I sometimes break out over my shoulders and back and this is my emergency treatment. When I use it on my back I dampen my skin and soak the herbalism in a little water and rub it into a paste before applying it. Then I get my boyfriend to rub it in gently over my back and shoulders. I leave it for about 15mins until it has dried and then rinse it off in the shower. It WORKS!

The smell takes a while to get used to, but this is wonderful stuff. Definitely showed my spots who's boss!

I have always had really unbalanced skin - one day oily three days later dry. Herbalism has really balanced out my skin, it takes a bit of patience to get used to, but just a small amount mixed with quite a bit of water goes onto the skin really easily. Thanks Lush

This is one of the most incredible products I have EVER used! For me it is perfect. I have exczema on certain areas of my face and Herbalism clears it all up! It smells lovely and fresh, and once you get used to it, applying is easy. What I do is take a small chunk, wet it and then massage into my skin. You may need to dampen it again several times but it works better if you wet your face first too. It left my skin feeling amazingly smooth and clean. I will be using this regularly!

Using this for almost a year now. I have combination skin; anti-blemish cleansers made it very dry, but this left a matte, velvet-like film on as if you don't even need face cream afterwards! It scrubs really good to unclog pores! Smells aatural, fresh and "green". It's not perfume, but I'm not gonna wear it, I need it to make my skin look good. 4 stars because I still get a pimple or two and it sometimes irritates my sensitive skin, but even so, it's still the best product I've tried so far.

I find this really hard to apply. It's difficult to get it into a softer paste. And the smelll....It's like cow poo!!It has made my skin slightly softer, although it doesn't look much better!! Not my best choice. Sorry Lush..

Got this as a free sample the last time. Well, I think it doesn't do anything to the skin. It's horrible to apply, falls into pieces. It feels like rubbing the content of a tea bag into your skin, no lather. Doesn't clean your skin, feels as greasy as before and is much to soft for a scrub. Only plus point is that it's really gentle and calms your skin. I keep using Fresh Farmacy, which I feel makes my skin much fresher, cleaner, soother and spotfree.

Herbalism worked wonders for me! I have very oily skin, and I get a lot of spots. I saw a difference after just one wash, and it's really cleared up my spots and my skin is less oily. The smell isn't that bad either.

I'm actually quite sad that this product didn't work for me as well as I'd hoped. I have very oily/combi skin with the occasional break out. Despite this product leaving my skin feeling very smooth it also made it 10 times worse, and after 4 weeks I'm still not seeing any visible improvements. For me the smell was fine. Everyone's skin is different so please, always try before putting it down. I've just purchased Coal Face and Fresh Farmacy to see how those fair :).

Have only just started using this as a more effective alternative to angels on bare skin. As i have terrible skin im not really supposed to use exfoliating products, but this one is gentle enough to use everyday and although i got a very powdery loose batch i really like the concentration of the scent - which makes it quite refreshing to use.

well this product looks ikky, its smell is not appealing but its not gross either but WOW it dried up my face after the first use iam so impressed , my skin has always been perfect ( yes iam big headed lol) but recently its started getting very spotty and greasy and i got this as a free sample with my last order and well its definately worth getting if u have greasy spotty skin.

I read most of the reviews before I bought this, and decided to give it a go. Basically, the smell isn't horrible, and you do get used to it, but it's not excactly appealing. I have very oily skin, and it doesn't seem to have helped much, if at all. But my skin has calmed down and I don't have as many breakouts as before. 3 stars because it didn't help my skin all that much. Don't let the smell or the crumbling put you off1 But if you have very oily skin, like me, it's probably not ideal.

I stopped using Herbalism for a while. Completely regretted it. My spots went back to their old way. Now, everytime i'm in the shower, i use some Fresh Farmacy, scrub my face with Herbalism and leave it on for five. Back to me old self. The smell may be off putting, but it's worth it :)

I've suffered quite severe acne for ages, and NO facewash had cut it for me until I met Herbalism. It calmed down my skin so much- I still really suffer with breakouts but Herbalism does as much as it can on the exterior to relieve the symptoms and if I hadn't been using this product for the past year my skin would definitely be a lot worse. The texture and method of application are perfect for me and I owe Lush a lot for this! Since using it I've never even questioned changing my regime.

This face wash is quite interesting.rnI bought it because the lush i went to ran out of cupcake face masks and i wanted something for my teenage skin. rnI was intrigued by herbalism, so I bought it....!rnIt's crumbly and hard to use at first but you get the hang of it.rnI use it every day and everyone compliments my skin and ask how i keep it so "spot free"rnI luv this!rnand i'm am definitely going to by some more in the future ^.^

Smells amazing, and has a really interesting texture. It does really dry my skin though, so I only use it maybe 1 in 5 times I shower as a deep cleansing treatment.

THE BEST FACE WASH I HAVE EVER TRIED :) I have adult acne and was put on a medical treatment, that absoulutly destroyed my skin, i was passing by and saw Lush and decided I have tried everything so whats one more. A great cleanser for normal/oily skin. rnthis doesnt remove all spots (pimples) from my face, however it flattens them and makes them less red and skin colour. a good cleanser overall

I'm not sure about Herbalism; it leaves your skin quite nice, but at the same time it's not anything special, and didn't particularly clear up my skin. It wasn't my favourite cleanser to use and can be a little messy (and the smell isn't very pleasant, although not unpleasant either). I used it after shaving, which worked quite well however.

I've been obsessively into Lush products for about 12 months now and it's only just that I've got round to trying Herbalism. I've been suffering from quite swollen acne around my chin and Herbalism is the only product that I've tried that has sorted it out! Really dries up a problem, oily complexion. Works best if you take a pea-sized amount and add a few drops of hot water and then mush it to a wet paste and then rub onto skin like a facial scrub. Do persevere though, it's excellent stuff!

I found this a bit too fiddly to stick to using every day! but i would recommend it for problem skin

For ages I've been constantly going into Boots and Superdrug to find skincare products that actually work. I got told to go into Lush one day, and ask. The response I got was to go for Herbalism and I'm glad I have chosen this; it does exactly what i got told. It reduced my spot redness and my acne has cleared up very well. I recommend everyone to use this; It lasts a long time, it's very reasonably priced, and it does exactly what it says it does. Definitely getting this one again.

at first i found this hard to use, but its actually very easy, just wet your hand rub a pea sized amount into it, rub all over your face and wash off, it's amazing stuff, works fantabulously, and smells very natural. even if a spot does occur, the next day its gone down dramatically. its the best face wash i've ever used.

This stuff is great for combination skin, and it really makes a difference within 2 weeks; I never had problems with my skin afterwards. Examining my face after using it the first time, it made my skin softer and less oily, & it tones well, too. I'm still using it, because I love it so much, I can't wait until tonight when I can use it again! :)

I love Herbalism! After the 1st wash my face felt so soft! All other face washes that I've used in the past have all eventually dried out my skin (or made it feel patchy imediately after washing) but Herbalism didn't! I was so impressed!

After suffering with horrible acne prone skin in the past, I can sympathise with anyone looking for something to help. I'm not going to say Herbalism made all my spots disappear, but my skin is under much better control now, and I'm really happy with how much better Herbalism treats my face - gently and naturally. It doesn't feel dried out and sore anymore and exfoliates well. My tip is leave a mask of Herbalism on for a few minutes, then gently rub off with a face cloth for extra smooth skin.

I switched to Lush products, namely Herbalism, just after using Proactiv religiously. I didn't realize how much damage was caused by the harsh ingredients in Proactiv. Now, immediately after washing my skin is soft and doesn't feel abused. After a toner and moisturizer, both by Lush as well, I feel great about going make-up free!!!

This is one of the best cleansers I have used. I have ised it on and off for about 2 years now. I find it balances out my skin, I hardly ever get spots, it makes the skin glow. Its fun to mix and it smells of herbs - really nice. Really refreshing in the morning when you feel really tired. If you have not tried it, atleast give it a go. Like a daily facial for oily/spotty/teenage skin. Once you get the hang of it you'll never go back to Boots for facewash ever again! This gave me instant results- my usually blotchy skin looked soothed and calm for the first time ever. Now I never get breakouts (apart from the odd hormonal zit- grrr). Leaves oily, spotty skin soft, smooth, calm and oil-free. It's perfect either in the morning for a matt base for your makeup, or in the evening to scrub away the daily grime. DON'T DISCONTINUE!

I'm 50 / 50 on this one. At first it made a lovely difference to my skin. A little drying, perhaps, but it did help with my spots.However... it just suddenly stopped working after a few weeks =lI was gutted.Also, it's a little fiddly to use.I know people who can't live without it, but this one just isn't for me...

This is the best so far, wow i love it, i honestly didnt think it would do anything for my skin, i have combination skin & it took away the oily texture leaving my skin very clean & soft/fresh..A little goes a long waycould smell the vinegar smell but wasnt at all strong when using it, it was a plesant smell, earthy typegoing to mix some up & leave it in the fridge over night like the last person recommended

Words cannot describe how great this product is. It's my favourite Lush product. Feels great on the skin and has worked wonders for me. It smells amazing and leaves my skin so soft.Top Tip: Make up the paste and leave it in the fridge overnight - the next morning when you wash with this it cools your skin and -- just WOW!

Herbalism is amazing! When I first looked at it I thought what is that meant to do seriously! But its amazing! I didn't like water but it does advise to drink, now, I love water (: This product has cleared my skin and I get compliments all the time (: I can NOT live without this product now. For a bonus, i've lost weight 'cause of my change in diet. I'm a vegi-head and never knew what I was allowed to eat incase it had meat and my diet was all over the place now, because of this little gorgeous thing, my whole life had changed! Whoever invented Herbalism is an actual genius. I'd been eating junk food for about a week and as well as going straight on my stomach, it shows straight on my skin.Herbalism didn't clear up my blotches and break outs straight away, but using it over the course of the week - along with Tea Tree Toner and Enzymion moisturiser - this has really cleared up my skin and makes it look lovely now. Also eat a lot of fruit, drink green tea and eat oily fish at the same time and it will help!Thankyou Herbalism and thankyou Lush!

Newbie, thats me! Just started buying Lush products a few days ago.The guy in store recommended this for clearing up my oily skin.My new skin regime starts by using this, followed by Tea Tree Water and finally Skin Nanny (I have dry skin also...yes, its a pain.)My skin feels cleaner and fresher already! I would defo recommend this product. It does exactly what its supposed to. I'm a Lush addict!

I used this stuff for months and found it amazing. Had rather nasty, "spotty grown up" skin and used this every morning in the shower, followed by Tea Tree water and Enzymion. My skin cleared up a treat, was never irritated and looked the best it had since the age of 10! Then I thought I should be a grown up and deviated from the Lush path...bought some very expensive Clinique (can i say that?) stuff and started to use that. Firstly, it smelt horrid, secondly it made my skin red and sore and thirdly, it just wasn't Lush.It seems you just can't beat Lush skincare and I'm going to stop trying. This cleanser is great and whats even better, it works. Buy it!

This cleanser is amazing. I am in my early 30's and stuff from mild adult acne. Have only been using this product again for about two weeks and can already see a marked improvement in my skin. I know the colour and consistency may be off putting, but do it give it a try, you wont regret it.

My skin is the skin of nightmares - v v oily, collects dirt like you wouldn't believe, at the end of the day I just feel so gross. Herbalism is the answer. It's the best cleanser I've found so far. The scrubby bits get rid of any built up dirt or dead skin you've collected throughout the day, then the cleanser just leaves you feeling so calm and clean. I love this stuff. It's the only thing that sorts me out. Can't recommend it enough.

Love this stuff! Leaves your skin lovely and smooth, I use this one at night to get all the grub off my face and my face does feel lovely and clean after i've used it. I have high colour on my cheeks and it doesn't irriate at all. I will use this forever, the only down side is that I always get the scrubby bits in my hair when I rinse it off (but thats because I throw water everywhere - don't let this put you off!)

I use this product regularly as I have problem skin even at the ripe old age of 40. It works very effectively at banishing blemishes (even if I do resemble the Hulk whilst I'm using it according to my daughter). It's easy to use, smells OK, gently exfoliates and seems to reduce redness. I'd recommend this to anyone with spots & blemishes.

I have been using this cleanser ever since I can remember, and I would never use anything else (though I did try to find something when it was discontinued.... so glad they brought it back!!). Unlike alot of the reviews, I use this cleanser all the time, twice a day and I've had no adverse effects! Just clean, smooth, less oily skin!It's only a light exfoliator. I love it's super clean green scrubbiness!!

Herbalism is an odd little product!!!The smell is really really nice- sort of green, but also vinegary, very natural. When using it, it is gently scrubby and leaves your skin nice and soft, if a little dry (I have very dry skin though, and everything dries it out apart from Angels on Bare Skin!). If you suffer from spots, be prepared to give Herbalism a fair chance before passing it up as a bad idea. I found it made my spots worse for about a week or so before it started clearing my skin up. After that it worked nicely, although not as spectacularly as I would have expected.I will stick with Angels on Bare Skin, But I would definitely buy Herbalism if my local Lush were out of Angels and I needed a cleanser.

i totally agree with the person below. although i think it smells more of bread than vinegar.it did make my spots worse at first and even made me break out into more spots but i carried on using it anyway. (it probably happened because ive ben using clearasil for the past 2 years and my skin wasnt used to something natural and not as chemically)after using it for about 3 weeks now, my spots ahve dissappeared and my skin looks great.i use babyface first though for extra assurance that my make up in fully removed, then finish off with tea tree water.

This stuff is really great and has made a massive difference to my complexion in a matter of days.. I have combination skin and am prone to the odd breakout and this stuff calmed my skin down virtually straight away... it's a bit weird smelling and obviously not like your standard cleanser but it's one of the best lush products I have ever used- high praise indeed!! Ok, so it takes a while to get used to, but it's all part of the fun. Who wants boring white out of the tube stuff when you could have fun green lush stuff.And it really works! My messed up complexion became lovely and clear in less than a week, and stayed like that long after I ran out.Thank you lush!

i got a sample of this from my local shop. i have oily skin and this cleared up my break out of spots and left my skin soft. the smell was interesting too (not in a bad way)however i found it rather hard to mixx up to get the amount right to put on my face. all said i would go and buy the full sized one

I have very oily skin and after reading the Lush Times (& deciding to use Lush products for everything now) I thought I should give this a go> I don't like the smell at all, but it's lasting ages and although I still get oily skin, it's a lot nicer for me to use than other products. I leaves my face feeling soft and un-oily for hours after using it and it's lasting ages!!! I will definitely keep buying this as one of my staple products!

I was really impressed with this cleanser. At 28, I still sometimes get a shiny chin and nose and occasional break-outs but this cleanser has really helped. I still have shiny skin at times but it is definitely improving and my break-outs, touch wood, have stopped which is brilliant. My skin feels lovely now and a little goes a long way which is great. Reading the reviews on-line over the last few days I must admit I was unsure that a 'bar of soap' so to speak would make that much of a difference to my skin...And I have tried more products that you could shake a spotty stick at! Boy, was I wrong about that 'bar of soap'! I have just returned from holiday with a pizza face and since buying 'Herbalism' yesterday my spots have shrunk and my face feels cleaner than it ever has done, it's as ifmy skin is breathing again!!- I feel younger and more radiant already!!. I also purchased Sweet Japanese Girl, Baby Face, Catasrophe Cosmetic, A Crash Course in Skin Care, Angels on Bare Skin and asked for a tester of Fresh Farmacy as I felt that may be too dry for my skin. I've not used them all yet but will review as soon as I have. Needless to say I cannot recommend Herbalism enough for people with problematic skin, strangely enough I never had spots as a teenager and now in my late twenties I suffer!My skin definitely feels smoother, more radiant and has none of the dry and astringent effects of the products marketed for acne/spot prone skin! I cannot thank Lush enough for this wonderful product and cannot wait to wash my face again! xx

well. i read the reviews kinda sceptically, not thinking a cleanser could actually get rid of my acne. but it really has! not only is my skin ULTRA clear, it is a lot smoother too and is perfect for using before makeup as it de-greases.as with the comment below, i have SO MUCH confidence now. i feel so gorgeous and i will never be without this again. i can't thank you enough!xxx

This is my absoloute without a doubt staple cleanser.It's the best in the world!I've suffered from terrible acne since the age of 8 and since then, i've always dreamed of having that perfect, flawless, smooth, airbrushed like skin only the models in magazines seem to have.After a few months of using this baby, my skin was clear, fresh and awake. I began to glow with confidence after realising my 5 year wait for perfect skin was now becoming reality.I can't thank Lush enough XD

This cleanser is the first i have tried- i was recommended it in the shop. I'm so glad i've tried it as it has reduced the size of all my spots and really softens my skin. My spots will hopefully disappear completely soon, if i carry on using this. You only have to use a very small piece each time to get your whole face clean and it seems like my bar will last for ages! The smell isa bit sharp, but it doesn't linger on your skin which is good. I would definitely recommend this! :)

I bought this cleanser for my boyfriend - he suffered acne when he was a young teenager, and although the medication he took for it stopped anymore acne from appearing, he was left with rosy red cheeks and large open pores. He'd tried lots of different medicated products to calm the redness and reduce his pores, but none of them made much difference. I suggested he go for a different approach and stop with the chemicals, and use a more natural product instead. I bought him herbalism about a month ago and the difference it has made is incredible! The redness has reduced significant, his pores are not as large or clogged, and with each use his skin is improving :)I recommend this product to anyone who has suffered the same skin problem, or anyone with general problem skin - it really is awesome.Just be sure to moisturise afterwards, as it can dry the skin out. Imperialis moisturisercompliments it well i think :)

I love this cleanser. I wish I'd discovered this when I was a teenager, its so good for my skin. I found with most other face washes, my skin seemed to become addicted to them, and became even oilier, and I got more spots,if I didnt use them twice a day, this is not the case with Herbalism. I keep it in a body butter tin, the first batch I got went dry because I only kept it wrapped in the paper.It has a very strong, vinegary smell, but it doesn't linger after use, so not really an issue. So,overall, good for problem skin, exfoliating, and well worth the money, because it lasts for ages! Its also really fun to use.

after suffering years of acne treatments, lotions and potions and pills, i've finally found something to keep my skin under control! Herbalism really cleans my skin but doesnt feel tight or tingly like the chemical products make my face feel, my skin is glowing, i wont lie i get the odd spot now and then, but who doesnt?! this is a miracle facewash, a bit awkward at first to get the right amount to make a messy paste but the long term results are amazing! i can finally stop looking for a miracle facewash because i have found it and i know its good for my skin!

This product gets the top score of 5/5 from me. It has done wonders for my skin, i noticed a difference within a couple of days, and now after using it morning and night for a couple of weeks my skin has never looked better. Even at 'that' time of the month when i am prone to a break out it has kept my skin clear, not only are it's skin clearing properties amazing, but it hasn't dried me out like other products have.The smell is a bit odd at first, a bit like mint sauce, but you soon get used to it, and i don't even notice it anymore. using Herbalism can take some gettin used to becoz u need to rub it in ur hands an make in in2 a paste. I av bin told off for gettin "green stuff" all over the bethroom haha. But the messin round is worth it. Herbalism really cleanses an brightens up my dull complexion. In fact I'm buyin more today!

I tried to use herbalism for a bit but found it really hard to use, when i tried to mix it with water i just got white water with green lumps in, and when i tried to spread it on my face it just fell off. Smelled bad too.

smells like vinegar and playdough.. but is truly amazing.i have dry/flazy, oily, spotty, red & sensitive skin- so it's pretty hard to find a product that works for me!Herbalism is simutaniously potent enough to clear spots and blackheads, exfoiliating enough to get rid of dry skin and gentle enough to not inflame my skin or strip it too much of natural oils.i'm on my second tub and can't imagine using any other product.oh, and the smell doesn't linger on the skin after it's washed off so it doesn't bother me!x

I bought this along with Catastrophe Cosmetic on my last trip to Lush and couldn't wait to try them out when I got home. It smelt nice in the shop, a little off putting when I opened the package & horrendous when you mixed it into a paste in the palm of your hand. Putting it on the first time, it felt a little rubbery. But washed off, my skin felt amazing! Clean but soft; I've used Fresh Farmacy & Coalface previously & didn't like how my skin felt stripped afterward, literally squeaky clean; my skin tends to get quite dry. So this was a real treat! I've been using it about 3wks now with C.Cosmetic face mask every night as well, and my skin does feel much better, & my spots have begun to vanish slowly. I did run out of C.Cosmetic, & shock horror, the day after I'd 5 bad spots as punishment, So I will continue to use the 2 in conjunction. I'm still going to add Babyface when my local Lush shop gets it back in as I can't live without it. But despite the bit of mess in using this every morning & the smell (I am getting used to it though) this is totally worth the money & I will continue to buy this.

i have problems with monthly breakouts and general greasiness, but this takes care of it. even after i get home from work and my skin is filmed with makeup, oil and flour, this takes it all off and leaves my skin super-clean. it lasts for AGES, too. i bought it in march, and it is now the beginning of may. i usually have to turn over products every 3-4 weeks. i use it in the evening with tea tree water and enzymion, and my spots have totally cleared up. it didnt wipe out my blackheads like i had hoped it would, but there is definite improvement, and i find if i use love lettuce every 2 weeks or so, they clear up.

this cleanser is phenomenal,i used it for about a week and a half,all my spots had gone,so silly me i decided to stop using it,wake up 2 days later and look into the mirror,crash it brakes, ( not literally)all my spot had come back and with a bloody vengance,this may not happen to every one,prob me cos im in me teens,but anyway its amazing,been using it again for 3 days and they r becomin,history!!!!!!!!!!u have to give it a try!!!!!!!!!!! x x x

I got this just under a month ago. I found it clarty to use at first (put some in your palm and smoosh it up with warm water-easier in the shower!) but STICK WITH IT. I've always been a bit spotty and a bit greasy (sounds good, huh?!) and my skin really does look better a few weeks down the line. It isn't a miracle worker but it's doing a damn sight better than any other cleanser I've ever used (I'm currently also using Fresh Farmacy in the eve, Enzymion moisturiser and Tea Tree toner) in my 26 years!

I've got combination skin, so i feel that herbalism dries out the dry areas on my face...but i would definitely recommend it if your looking for something that will soak up the all the oil and grease...would also recommend it when the time of the month comes, when your skins in worst shape...I'm the kind of person who doesnt spend more that 5-10 minutes every morning and night, so i find using these crumbly cleansers a bit too long (shouldn't use them everyday though)...but problem solved, just hope in the shower with it...rub with water, rub on to face and then rinse off with all the other grime and grease on the other parts of your body...this way you dont hav to worry about getting your hair wet and spending time clipping your hair back!

I brought and used this cleanser for the first time ever today, it was a little crumbely , so i put it in an old shower scrub conatainer. it smells VERY good and my ski feels as smooth as a babies bottom!Its well worth the money ,BUY IT!

I bought this cleanser as I often suffer from break-outs and always have spots. This cleanser is a little difficult to use at first, as its very crumbly, however you soon get used toit. I store it in an old face mask pot as the wrapper tends to get very soggy and makes a mess. I use it every morning and night and have found it to leave my skin soft due to exfoliating bits in it.The smell is quite nice,very natural.I've been using this product for a good 2 months, and it lasts a good amount of time. My skinhas less bumps, however i'm not sure whether its the result of this product or other lush products i'm using. I do however still have quite a few spots, although they are better than before (not as angry and big). I'm giving it 4 stars as it is difficult to use and you tend to lose a lot down the sink which is a bit of a waste.

Hurray for Herbalism!I have developed a few spots in the last few weeks. You know the drill, as one goes another sprouts and on goes the cycle. I only bought this product yesterday. I use it once in the afternoon and once befoe bed and spots are definately getting better. Less inflamed and less red and look to be nearly gone.I also bought Cupcake and used that last night too, must be a great combo!I love the smell of this. It smells like its doing my skin good! I like playing with it too.

I don't know about results but it smells foul.(Glad I went into the shop and didn't buy it on the net.)Like it's gone off, vinegary. I bought aqua marina instead which just smells lovely and clean and it soothes spots lovely. Might smell Angels if they have some in Cardiff next time.

I use this is the afternoon, to wash my face free of makeup. Since Istarted using it I've noticed my skin does not get half as oily as itused to during the day, and I have less spots. This also makes my skinreally soft (not quite as soft as Angels tho) and I can actually stillslightly smell it after I wash it off - sort of half vinegar/half mint,not unpleasant in my opinion, although I hate the smell of Angels, somaybe I'm strange! I'd definitely recommend this for every type of problem skin, as Idon't find it particularly drying and it has helped with my oily skin.Amazing product!

I used this once ONLY and i swear it changed my skin type from oily to normal. I've been wasting hundreds on the clinique anti blemish cosmetics range and achieved more by spending 4quid on a little piece of this stuff.In one goit erased all my blackheads and my spots are even beggining to fade!and for a cheeky bonus my face is no longer shiny LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!

Love This! .. Makes my spots disappear and my skin baby soft.TIP: the easiest way i have found of using this cleanser is to roll tiny pieces into balls and store them in a container, (such as an empty face mask tub) and just take out a ball or two and hey presto no fussing in your in a hurry! :D

I bought this and Imperialis in Germany when I forgot my Clinique stuff. I was a bit hesistant because of the colour but being desperate I got it. After just one use my skin felt great and cleaner than ever. 2 weeks on and my skin hasn't looked this good in YEARS! I went on to buy Cupcake face mask and Eau Roma Water toner. I will definately be spreading the Lush word! THANKS LUSH!!!!

im new to lush, and ive only been using herbalism for 3 days and the improvement in my skin is amazing, it smells nice and i lkike the fact i dont have to use an exfoilator after as it alreadly has one!! this product is amazing, if u have problem skin this is for you!

This cleared up every spot on my face in 2 days! It's really gentle and I like the herby smell. It also makes you complexion look really refreshed like a cleanser should. I got given a little sample of this (to go with my Ocean Salt)but I will be buying a full size one on my next trip to Lush.

Herbalism is THE BUSINESS for spots! Been using this since February along with Fresh Framacy to sort out my sensitive, problem skin. Since using it my complexion is looking a lot brighter and the scarring on my cheeks is starting to fade. Thank you Lush, just wish I'd discovered you sooner :-)

I was after something which could get rid of spots, and this does just that! I saw visible results after just a few uses, and you really don't need very much of it each time. However, I'm really prone to dry skin, and this can sometimes make that worse, but it's worth it!

I bought this cos it was recommended by a friend who is also prone to a break out or two, and i have to say it's amazin! It should be called Soft as a Babies Bum cos thats how it leaves your skin feelin or Miracle cos of how it clears your skin of those blasted spots. 10 out of ten and a pat on the back for LUSH!!!!!!!

I bought this 2 days ago, and have used it 3 times and i have to say i can already see anm improvement, My dry flaky patches are now smooth, my greasy patches are not as greasy and my spots have been sent to somewhere beyond infinity! Was a bit tricky to use at first but once you get the hang of it you'll be surprised how fun it is putting green goo on your face and coming out with baby softness!

Sadly i never got to try this product as myDOG ate it!!!! I was so looking forwordto trying this!!! That is the last time i ever leave any of my Lush products out! (Must have tasted nice though!)

I've had this for just over two weeks now, and i have to say, its one of the best cleansers i've ever used! Its left my skin super smooth and problem skin not so much of a problem!I will definitely be buying this again!! It lasts ages, so is well worth the price, and i find it easy to apply! Fantastic!!!

This product is AMAZING! It came in the post yesterday and i have only used twice (at night then the next morning) and it has already done wonders for my skin! My spots have decreased dramatically if not compleatly gone away! Its amazing! The only down side is that its a bit hard to apply but i can live with that!

Ive been using herbalism for the past month and it has done wonders to my skini had the worsy acne breakouts and now i hardly even get any.not only have the blemishes dissapeared but my skin feels like a babys bottomthank you lush for making an amazing product.

A shop assistant in my local Lush shop suggested this to me as I was having a very bad break out of spots and nothing was fixing it. Tried this and it made very little difference ( if any ) to my spot. I must admit it did seem to fade a few old skin blemishes. Much better off buying fresh farmacy or aqua marina which are miracle workers as far as bad skin is concerned.

Smelt very similar to the mint sauce you put on your lamb chops! Was nice and soft on the skin and the little green bits exfoliated, but apart from that I didn't feel like it did much, and it sometimes left my skin very dry after use. I'm going to try another cleanser next time.

I love the idea of these smushy cleansers, they feel natural and just on a totally different planet to the manky stuff in a bottle. (They actually even taste natural, and a little tasty..if you get a bit in your mouth) Only thing is, for me, as with others who've tried it, I have spotty skin and have done for all of my teenage years and I have tried absolutly everything even prescriptions and nothings worked, so I'm really pretty sceptical about everything. It hasnt really worked to get to the point, my skin still has spots;but there are some definateplus sides which makes me keep using it and not a chemical cleansers:my skin used to get dried out with other cleansers, this gives my skin a really satisfying smooth surface..naturally!Its jolly good fun to squidge it aroundit looks super cool on your face... an excellent green shade.tastes good gentle enough to use day and nightI recommend it!

Fantastic cleanser, I bought it because of the review's, I was dubeus about buying a soild cleanser as I 've never used a cleanser befor, even thow I'm 25 lol! But this was amazing, it was great on my skin and it really took off the mack-up I have started to were. I highly recommend this one ;) the only thign is the funny smell, it's wierd, but hay, it work's ;)

One thing I love about this is the fact you have to squish it up!! It may be my infantile nature, but I love squishing all the greeny gooeyness :) Smells nice, like lavendar, and is packed with little bits you can exfoliate with. My skin feels fabby after using it, definatly awsome!! Only downside is that it's quite crumbly, which means I always end up with bits of it disappearing down the plughole . . .

This product is fantastic. Having suffered from "adult acne" for the past six months, I was beginning to despair. My friend had used this and said I should give it a go. I make it into a paste and spread in onto my face. I usually leave it on for about 30 seconds. The result? Smooth, clear skin in 3 weeks!I love this product.

Cleanses well without stripping, exfoliates gently, evens out skintone... I don't know how well it would cope with dissolving make-up, because I only use it in the morning. Just make sure you rinse off well as it can leave you a little green-tinged!

It may make you look like the incredible hulk whilst you have it on, but this is one amazing cleanser!! I've tried both fresh farmacy (which did nothing) and angels on bare skin (which worked for about a month) and lots of other horrible non-lush chemical concoctions but Herbalism beats them all both hands down.I've been using it for about six months now and my skin hasn't been this clear and non-greasysince I was in secondary school (I suffered from teenage spotty skin in college, when everyone else had grown out them :( !).Definitely the best cleanser I've ever used and throughly deserves 5 stars!!

I got this as a free sample at Christmas time and have been using it daily since. A little goes a long way, I make it into a runny paste with a little water and smear it on! It is gorgeous, my skin is usually pretty good but I am prone to spots at certain time...y'know what I mean ladies, and this month I have been fine. My skin is silky smooth and spot free, I will be buying one before my freebie runs out!!

This was the first cleanser I tried from the range and i had a lot of fun using it! When it's warm, it can be squidged together so it feels like clay, then rubbing it gently over your face seems to work best... it stopped my skin being oily and over-dry but I'm not sure it helped clear up blemishes very well. My skin definitely felt cleaner and smoother but unfortunately make-up was still a necessity for me!

I had this recommended to me in early December and although I have used Lush for, well, years, I never thought of trying this. My skin has cleared up beautifully and finally feels under control. I highly recommend this for anyone who has hormonal blotchy skin and if you are worried about taking the plunge, ask for a sample!

I had really bad skin so i bought this product about 3 days before christmas and it has completely cleared my skin. I have sensitive, oily skin and it has been really nice to use. Leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth. AlthoughI would agree that it can be a bit messy to use!

Well to be honest quite disapointed in this product not worth the money, doesnt seem to do anything, and it really hard to use!! it just gets all over the bathroom carpet when it breaks off into little bits! Ill just stick to the face masks for sorting out my skin!

really fun to use, but seemed to bring me out in more spots! did get rid of some of those horrible dark shadows that spots leave though, think ill try angels on bare skin as im not one to give up on something!

this is one of the first products i tried when i found out about lush,i have oily skin so i thought i'd try this and it works well with my skin,i alternate this with fresh farmacy to help prevent spots and blemishes.

I have oily problem skin so I thought that herbalism would be just great for me. But its not... It even made my skin shinier... And it didnt last for even one month... But it does really fade away old acne scars so Ill give it a 2.

i have used this product for two weeks now and i love it! it makes your smooth very smooth after washing. and every after wash, you just feel so refreshed! although, i want to try coal face as well. maybe it would get rid of my blemishes faster! try herbalism! really nice.

After trying this for a couple of weeks, I would definately recommend this. It has really helped my blemished skin and dries up oil without over-stripping it. It does smell a bit funny though, and it is a pain to use. Great for anyone who has the patience to stand and make a paste up.

I didn't like this product. It was too rough for my skin and I got more blackheads whilst using this cleanser. I still had the same amount of spots so it really did nothing good to my skin.

Mmmm! This cleanser left my skin feeling sooooo soft and not tight like regular sopas do. It made my skin look clearer and brighter within a week and 100g lasts forever!
