This removed my make-up instantly and saves more time than wiping it off with cotton wool.rnIt doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, but it can leave my skin feeling tight, however, that disappears when I moisturise.rnOverall, I love it!

I use this cleanser together with Vanishing Cream and my face is pimple and blocked pores free! I have normal sking and this doesn't leave my skin tight and dry like the normal cleansers for acne. However I just use this one when pimples break free! For a daily use on normal skins I would recommend Aqua Marina.

I have found this to be a great cleanser. It's gentle, does not make my skin feel tight, seems to have helped clear up my occasional spots (I always had one or two most of the time) and leaves my skin soft and glowing. Very Happy! :-)

This cleanser is really good for getting that impossible to move last bit of makeup off. Left my skin clean, but it did however leave it feeling very tight and a bit too dry, a problem that can easily be solved by moisturizing after use. It is a bit hard, but it doesn't take long for it too lather up.

This did not work for me....in fact it broke me out - big time! Only had a few pimples on my face and used this once when I finished my regular cleanser. My skin was stinging afterward but did feel smoother. The next day I had a major breakout along my chin and the right side of my face and my skin felt very sore and was still stinging. Needless to say I won't be using this again, so if you're thinking of giving it a go, see if you can get your hands on a sample first!

Ok my skin is not oily and I rarely have spots, but that time in the month often means a few on my chin pop up. This is amazing and gets rid of them; I also think that it helps fade spot marks. Don't leave it on the skin too long, get it on, get it off, otherwise it will dry skin out too much. Leaves skin feeling really clean and last me ages. I love it.

Doesn't look like the picture, it's like a a dull grey pink and it's very hard. Not keen on the smell either.

This is hands down the best daily cleanser I have ever used. It deals with spots and redness, and hasn't conflicted with my sensitive skin. I bought a 100g chunk of it, and it seems like it's going to last a very reasonable amount of time for the price of it. My face feels fresh and clean after I use it. Never before have I seen and felt such a positive change to my skin. This is such a wonderful product, and I plan to use it twice a day, always.rnThanks Lush.

Absolutely amazing product! My skin not only feels smooth but the tone is also very smooth too! Normal cleansers made my face a bit blotchy and dry, but this does exactly the opposite. Love it!

I love this soap however it is extremely dry and dryes out my skin so much that I have to put three layers of Skin Drink after I use it. Please, Lush, make less dry!

I was seriously surprised at how well this product worked on me. I got it as a small sample from my nearest Lush shop and I have fallen in love with it! It really helps my oily skin and calms down my spots. Its worth trying if you have spotty/oily skin.

If you ever discontinue this soap, I will have to hold Mark and Mo hostage until they make it again! lol This is the best facial soap I have EVER come across. It is so soothing and gentle on my combination, acne-prone skin. It dries my skin out just enough to get the bad oils off and keep the good ones in. I cannot say enough about this soap. I am just over the moon about it. And I have really come to love the smell. 100 stars!!!!! NEVER GET RID OF IT- PLEASE!!!

This soap is absolutely amazing. The smell is good and the feeling in your skin is like porcelain.

I liked this product because it banished spots when I first got them but now...I dunno, it doesn't seem to be that great anymore. I've still got a spot on the side of my nose for the last week and it's not helping and I wash my face religiously morning and night. It's also way to harsh for my face, it dried out my cheeks quite a bit. It wasn't for me, but I still think it's a good product in it's core, but stay away if you've got combo skin.

I've used this for 2 weeks now with Tea Tree Toner and Enzymion. It has really cleared up my skin - sure, there's the odd spot still, but as terrible sufferer of acne, it has done the job, where no other (non-Lush) cleansers have worked. The only con is that it sometimes makes my skin sting, but that's only when I combine it with toner.

Got this the other day and used it immediately - made my skin so soft and has visibly shrunk my pores already! Worked out that to make it lather its best to run wet fingers over the bottom, then rub the bottom over your face and then massage it in with your wet fingers. Love the product, will buy again!

This, along with Eau Roma Water, cured my problem skin of umpteen years in a week (and believe me I have tried so many things with no success - even roaccutane). From acne and red splotchy face to smooth, pink and pretty. Love the clean scent. Is a bit harsh though if used continuously so will probably go down now to every other day.

I like this product - but it lost one star because it isn't very comfortable to use. It gently removes grease which is good for acne-prone teenage skin which I have. It doesn't foam at all so it doesn't feel like rubbing detergent on my face. I have tried Angels and Herbalism and Dark Angels and these are too scrubby for daily morning and evening use. This is just right but I feel I need something a little stronger every now and then, like every other day. I would purchase this again. :D

Lots of people said it was very trying and made their skin feel tight and itchy, which in your 20s is the very last thing you want. But I gave it a try anyway, as the lush site said it was soothing and gentle and good enough for every day us and I really liked the idea of a solid cleanser.rn It's totally gentle but totally effective. It smells beautiful, had a creamy lather and it so easy to use! My skin feels so soft spots on my chin cleared up!. My pores have disappeared. I'm in love!rn

This was brilliant! My cheeks are quite red and when using this it totally calms down my skin tone plus makes my skin just totally soft at the same time.rnrnrnBrilliant soap though, lathers brilliantly and such a nice smell.

This suits my face perfectly, leaving it soft, smooth and more even. It's also easy to use in the shower and creates a beautiful milky lather.

Im the type of person that can't stick to one cleanser- by which i mean i get bored of everything quickly. I got a chunk of this at lush when i was about 14 (when i first started to get acne) i quit it and started using angels on bare skin and then ocean salt and now im back on it. Im now 15 and i'm sooo glad i decided to use it again. THE SPOTS HAVE LEFT THE BUILDING! (tip- if you have spots like i do, make sure to use grease lightening too.)

Fresh Farmacy is amazing. It calmed the redness of my spots down and it smells really nice, natural and fresh. I really love this product. I cut it in smaller peices to last longer. Anyway, it just smells really great.

Has worked wonders. Skins been so much clearer and haven't had any new spots since i have been using it. Just one thing though it dries my face quite a bit after i have used it so need to use plenty of moisturiser afterwards. I have been using it daily and haven't had any problems yet!

I've always had super oily skin despite trying all sorts of different products that were supposed to help. FF has really soothed my skin, and it's a lot less oily than it used to be. My bar has lasted quite a while...the key is to not leave it where it gets soaked in the shower! This is true of any natural soap. I keep it in a soap dish that drains, away from where the water hits it.

I am really impressed with this cleaner. I find it lathers up very easily, removes all dirt and grease effectively and leaves my skin lovely and smooth. I'm also counting on it lasting for quite some time also making it super cost effective!

Worked really well at first (got rid of all my spots) but as a daily cleanser I don't think it suited my skin type as my cheeks would get a bit blotchy. I think it would suit someone with oily to very oily skin more than my combination skin that is sensitive in areas (like around my cheeks!).

It has worked very well for my dry yet breakout prone skin, which has been going crazy spotty for the past month or so. I've only had one new nasty spot in the two weeks i have been using it and he arrived this morning (to be fair pizza probably didn't help)! rnGood value for money too. Mine cost me £8, but I cut it into 9 smaller pieces and have only just gone onto my second piece.rnTo the person wondering what moisturiser, I use Celestial at night (too thick for daytime) and Imperialis for day.rn

This works really well for my oily-combination skin. It makes it feel matte and cleansed, without being too drying. I've tried several other Lush cleansers, and although this doesn't feel as luxious as AOBS or as hard-working as Coalface & Dark Angels, it does the best job for my skin. My pores have also shrunk :D

Not sure what to make of this, only been using it a week or so, but now my skins all red and flaky around my nose and mouth, and it's pretty painful, it's not usually sensitive! I don't blame this though, I think I was a bit too eager and used it too often, like, three times a day...*guilty face* can anyone recommend a good moisturiser for it though? I was thinking Imperialis. Didn't notice much change in my skin either. I'll wait for my skin to go back to normal and try again. :D

My skin is usually not prone to becoming sore or red and I've used a lot of harsh products and scratchy exfoliators, so I expected this to be a gentle soap! But oh no. Lots of people have commented on the stingyness and that it makes your skin feel tight, but this was horrible :( My skin got really sore and red and it hurt when I put on my moisturizer. But then again my soap looked more like a brown colour as oppposed to the bright baby pink on the picture. So maybe I got one that was too old :

Leaves my combination skin matt, but a bit dry though. Definitely helps to get rid of spots and imperfections

I am enjoying using this product so far ! It does feel like it's cleansing thoroughly and smells nice .. calming, really. I think you definitely need to use moisturiser after washing and patting dry your face as it can leave it a little tight, but I like to feel that the products are really working. Using with tea tree toner and vanishing cream to try sort out my acne and I am pleased to far ! :]

I have dry skin and I don’t think this really worked for me. It dyed me out more and left my skin a bit flaky so id stick to using angels on bare skin. But, my boyfriend who has oily skin really benefited from this cleanser, it really helped his blemishes and just balanced out his skin. So it depends on what skin type you have, for it to work.

I have combination skin (oily t-zone/normal) and I tried a sample of this when the Nottingham shop didn't have any Aquamarina in. I'm so glad I tried it. It leaves my skin with a lovely matt finish. I use it with Tea Tree toner and Vanishing Cream moisturiser. Top marks!

This product is amazing, i've been using it for about a month now and before i was prone to breakouts, and now they are almost all gone. The smell is gorgeous and refreshing. The underneath side of the cleanser acts well as an exfoliater. Left my skin feeling a very soft but a little dry, but a nice Lush moisturiser easily sorted that out.

When i first got t i thought it wont be my favorite at all. I find myself using this every morning! The lather is creamy, amazing, i dont have oily nor dry skin. This is just perfect, and lasts a while too. Get it, MUST HAVE!!!!

Really good product, and not only for oily skins. I have a dry combination skin, and I use this a few mornings a week. When I first used this my skin got a little tight, but apparantly I was using way too much! Also, make sure you use your toner and moisturiser straight after. rnBefore I used this my skin tended to get a little red and flushed throughout the day, but that's a problem of the past now. Overall, a really really good product, worth a try!

Been using this for a week and already I see a difference, Granted I still have a few spots but they are so much less noticable and the difference it has made to my oily skin is unbelievable! It is drying as others have said especially around my lips but the other benefits cancel it out and I'll look for something to use in conjunction with it. So happy I made that purchase

I couldn't believe it, I had just turned 20 and started getting spots!!! I tried all sorts of expensive skin care products to try and shift them but nothing was working. I then thought that something a bit more natural would help and the ANGEL who works for lush in Bolton recomended fresh farmacy. My skin is now back to normal (if not better than it was) and I LOVE this product xxx

i have many lush products of which i adore!!however i got fresh pharmacy as a sample. I do not usually have sensative skin, however this products made my face really sting, so i discontinued use. As a positive my skin did look radiant

Id given up hope that anything would get rid of spots on my cheek. I tried Herbalism, Angels on Bare Skin, Cupcake, Comestic Warrior and Love Lettuce.Whilst all these are amazing products the spots were not budging. I went to my local Lush store and one of the lovely staff members recommended FF. After one day of using it dried out my spots. I still use the face masks but FF is ideal for daily use. If the girl who works in the Glasgow Buchanan Street branch ever reads this - thank you :)

Bye bye spots! I love this stuff, it's done wonders for the ton of spots on my cheeks and tamed my T Zone. It leaves my skin baby smooth and really combats redness. It can be quite drying though so I use Angels on Bare Skin in the morning and Ultrabland to take make up off in the evening followed by FF. Gorgeous stuff! I'd avoid it like the plague though for dry to normal skin if you have no redness or spots.

It did'nt nothing for my acne's problems...for the oily skin it's good but not if you have spots and things like that...sorry lush =(

Used a sample of this as a body soap after a breakout of ringworm as it has all those anti-fungal and calming qualities. After two weeks of anti-fungal cream, using this plus tea tree oil before the cream helped immensely. It still took a month to go away, but I didn't see any improvement until I started with Fresh Farmacy. It'd be too harsh for my face, but it served its purpose perfectly for me!

Mmm I love this! I've only been using it for about a week and I don't think I'd ever go back to using a non-Lush cleanser! I've had no new spots, the ones I did have are fading super fast and I can really tell that my skin loves FF as it's really glowing! I've got combination skin & though I was worried about this being too drying on my cheeks, I just slap moisturiser on straight afterwards and my skin feels looovely all day! Thanks Lush :)

I started using this product after my friend recommended it to me and I absolutly love it!! It is the best cleanser I have ever found for my skin! Since using it I have had gorgeous skin and very few spots just the odd one, whereas I used to have several at a time. this cleanser is a miracle worker it makes your skin clear and feel tight!!! one word: FABULOUS!!!!!!

This is so gentle and lovely, and calms down any redness on my skin really well. I haven't noticed any drastic changes when I have spots but it doesn't dry out my skin like some other spot-preventing cleansers! Just wondering, though - my bar has some black and brown gritty stuff on the base. Is this meant to be there? Other than that, it's great :)

Used FF for about 10 days now and my skin is seriously clearing up! Iv neva had really really bad acne, but having real sensitive skin & being a teen with horrible hormones my skin got irritated and breakouts got worse with virtually evry 'acne' product.. even the 'naturals' (body silly shop ) .Anywho Lush is the way FOWARD, btw the soap is slightly drying so moisturise, the imperials cream is also working well with me.

I have been suferring from bad skin for the first time, at the age of 21. I've tried numerous things including dermalogica.I often read reviews and was curious to try lush, so went into my local store and was given a big sample of FF. I cut up into cubes, this seems to be best for storing and not getting soggy. I wash my face with FF twice in the morning, twice at night for around 2 wks now, and I would say my skin has improved. SQUEAKY clean, feels a bit drying so put on moisturiser afterwards.

I have tried many different products, cleansers, scrubs, creams, etc... over the past couple of years for my problem skin. I was sooooo fed up of always having awful skin. I just thought i'd ask in Lush about the cleansers. The assistant gave me a small sample of FF to try out. I've been using it now for about a week, and my skin is clearing up SOOO quickly!!! I can't believe it! The sample has also lasted AGES, as i only have to use a small piece. Thank you so much LUSH!!! :))))

FF I've bought to remove Sweet Japanese Girl and I have no accurate opinion about it. But I can say exactly that it dry your oily parts of skin and wet everything else. I will have to try it again to say if I'm obsessed with it or no :) Isabel

I didn't really like this product and it went a really mushy texture when I left it in a soap tray thing next to my sink. Not a very nice smell and didn't really do much for my skin. Sorry Lush.

This product is good but slightly drying for the skin so you will need to moisturise after using it, the smell is beautiful and calming and i would highly reccomend !!!! makes skin feel lovely and soft afterwards too.

I am very happy with this product. The smell is lovely and it makes your skin feel very smooth and calm. The problem is, it doesn't lather very well at all unless you run it under water for a bit. I am torn between herbalism and this one now!

I was cautiously optimistic about Fresh Farmacy after reading other reviews. Despite being well out of my teenage years, my skin's still teenagery and very sensitive. It's hard to find a cleaner that my face likes, but it loves FF. It took a week or two of use, but my skin's less spot-prone, spots and its remnants are less red. I love the little exfoliating bits that work well and don't make my skin turn beet red from irritation. It's very calming, soothing and leaves my skin soft and balanced.

I did NOT get on with this the first time I tried, My skin went bright pink, tight and uncomfortable. However, after using AOBS and ultrabland for the past 6 months I can now use FF with great results. My skin is clearer, and it deals with my oily T zone, less spots and less shine!

This cleanser took me a few days to get used to, at first I was using too much so it was making my face feel as if it was burning. As I got used to it I realised by pinching a tiny piece off and smoothing it over my face it worked better. I have oily skin that gets spotty at times, with regular use this is like a miracle and it even makes my make up application easier as my face feels tight and soft after use. I don't mind buying it regular though as it lasts much longer than usual cleansers!

Unfortunately this is not a product for me. I've been left with a face looking like I've had a chemical peel and feeling very tender and painful. I have never reacted to any product before, so I don't know what ingredient it was, but something has made me tomato red and very sore. Will NOT be buying it again. It's a shame, because it had the potential to be a really good product.

This has cleared up my horribly spotty skin - skin that made my own father go "Oh dear! Your face!" when it was especially bad. Now my face is clear and no longer greasey... can I marry this cleanser?

absoulutly fabulous to get rid of spots. the only problem is that it really dries ur skin so its hard to put on foundation etc but u can always fix it!

I started using this along with the tea tree cleanser as recommened by the sales assistant in Lush... my skin was looking awful due to another brand of cleanser and toner I had tried, Ive been using this every day now for 4 days and already my skin is looking so much better and isnt oily :) and chunk I got will last me for ages!

I have always been a bit worried about using this on my slightly combination/sensitive skin because it's recommended for oily skin but was given a sample recently. When used once or twice a week it really helps to clear up any excess oils on my forehead and keeps spots and blemishes at bay. Nicely scented and doesnt leave that dry tight feeling that some cleansers leave. Overall a very nice product that I will continue to use on a twice weekly basis.

I recently purchased one of the Fresher boxes and was given a sample of Fresh Farmacy for my rather spotty,oily, and totally out of control skin. From the first use it made my face feel soft, brighter and reduced the redness of my spots with ease. I'm now a total Lush convert and have snapped up a bigger bar of this wonder product along with a bigger tub of the Vanishing Cream, which compliments Fresh Farmacy wonderfully. I bought this product from Chichester Lush. I'm 21 & still suffer with unwanted teenage spots!! Fresh Farmacy soap has changed my life and my cleansing routine. It has a very clean but feminine fragrance about it, and doesn't dry my skin out like other facial cleansers I have used! I use it along side the tea tree toner water and the vanishing cream moisturiser and all the products are amazing!! I cannot thank lush enough for making a soap which in my opinion has cured acne...well mine any way!

Bought some of this from the Dublin store, and mine seems different to the Uk one. The one i have is rough and is just small little pieces that are really rough and make my face really sore and my spots bleed. Really not good for dry skin either.rnNot great, sorry lush!

This stuff is amazing! I'm 35 and have suffered from spots for as long as I can remember. I also have oily and very sensitive skin and am allergic to most skin care products. I got a sample of this the last time I went into Lush, and it's great. I use it to wash my face every day and it's really gentle. It smells a bit at first, but you get used to that and it's lovely on your skin and works well with Ultrabland. Very nice product overall.

I had never bought anything from lush. But been reccomended the store by friends i went in there, i told the advisor about how red blotchy my skin gets and she suggested this. In two days i have washed my face with it just three times and the redness has gone :O its magic! It has done nothing for my dry skin. Infact made that worse. But i will buy this product again when the bar i have got has gone. which looks like it will last forever tbh.

One bar will last forever!Careful if you have sensitive skin. My skin is sometimes sensitive and my skin felt tight after using this, then started to feel dry and tingly. My face wemt slightly pink and I had a very slight rash by my eyes (this is actually not too bad, as I get them pretty easily). I sprayed on some eau roma water, then put celestial on my face to calm it down. My face is settled now. I will probably use this occasionally, but prefer AOBF. It doesn't smell bad, just unusual.

I havent got acne/eczema skin but i like this anyway. It isn't creamy like it looks in the picture, but it has nice exfoliating herby bits which i like. Good for oily skin as it gives it a nice "Im really clean" tight feeling but this means its important to moisturise. Seemed to stop new nasty little spots appearing and great on sunburn.

I sorry Lush! But this is the worst product ive used.rnI don't know about it clearing my skin up it made mine worse! Just not for me......

I use this for my skin as I suffer psoriasis AND spots. Normal products either treat the spots and make the psoriasis work, or treat the psoriasis and the spots flare up. rnIt leaves my skin clean, spot and scratchy patch free - doesn't dry it out and smelling GOOD!

I got this on tuesday after a lush assistant told me this would clear up my skin (as i have incredbly spotty forehead, and oily nose and cheeks, tipicle teenage skin!) It is now friday and i am soooo happy i got this! my skin is now a lovely matt finish, and my spots are going rapidly! I am going back to school soon so hopefully when i do i will have clear, glowing skin! A must have for teenages! :)

This is an absolutely amazing product!! I used to use Sweet Japanese Girl but found it a little too greasy for my skin, even though I loved the moisture it put back in. Then I found this - it even blasts away the spots from "the monthlies", even for a 30-something!!!

i had a bright red dot on my nose for atleast a year (nerve endings or something!), it was too red to even cover up with makeup! it would always show through. my doctor said it was nothing to worry about but i could pay to get it lasered off which i didnt have the money to do. i used fresh farmacy 3 times and the mark is no longer red and looks like its drying up. it covers up with makeup now easily :D

This is the first ever lush face cleanser i have ever used. And its GREAT! Being a teenager my skin is really sore and spotty, but this product has made my face spotless, clean and glowy. Before this I used Dove, it did absolutely nothing for me but give me that tight feeling I like. Now i have an all in one. Something that makes me beatiful and give me that tight feeling. To all those spotty teenagers out there, this is the one for you :)

I can't live without Fresh Farmacy. As soon as I stop using it I start to notice spots creeping back in and my skin looking generally rubbish. This absolutely saves the day. If I have a monster spot, rub a little of this over it before you go to bed and in the morning it's gone. I've used this for about 4 years now and people always tell me how lovely my skin is. My favourite Lush product ever.

This is the most amazing product ever! It cleans your skin thoroughly and leaves pores smaller and cleaner than ever before (mine have amazingly almost disappeared and I have suffer 20 years of acne). It gets rid of spots and acne and helps to soften the marks left by acne. It is also good for sensitive skin or if you have been bitten by something! If you have to try one product this is the one. I use mine with Tea Tree Water and Vanishing Cream. Wonderful!

This cleanser is just wonderful. My skin is dry/combination, and very very sensitive. I was a bit afraid that Fresh Farmacy might be too harsh because I thought it would be like soap, but I was mistaken ! First of all, I love its earthy and mild scent. It is very gentle on the skin, and after rinsing, my skin feels so soft and smooth ! And great value for price, it will last forever. Been using it for a week so have to see in the long run, but I think this will become a favorite.

I loved tihs. I actually love the smell and it made my skin soo soft. I actually got people i know to rub my face which got me dirty looks. It didnt make my skin red and i used gorgeous moistruiser which made my face perfect. it made my skin tight but that ended after a few minutes. Thank You LUSH !!!

I did not like this cleanser at all. Was disappointed as was grey in colour and smelled icky. Broke my skin out something rotten despite persisting for weeks believing it was just clearing out any junk in my pores, etc. Sorry LUSH - not a favourite, I'll have to try something else! Xx

I use this cleanser regularly in the shower to prevent getting breakouts anywhere on my body, like my back, and it works really well. (It's much too strong for my face though, as I have very sensitive skin which dries out easily.)

This product is pure genius in my opinion, almost as perfect as HERBALISM.rn Yes, the sodium Laureth sulfate maybe prove too much for dry, very sensitive skin, but compare to anything else on the market with detergent this IS the BEST!rnI have very sensitive, allergie prone, combination skinrnand I use this with no side effect. I will just say that I have not tried it yet in the middle of winter when my skin is drier though...

Only used it once, the smell is not as weird as some suggest. It smell like the lotion used on chicken pox i got when im a kid, didnt see any significant effect yet but my face seems to clear up even since i left UK (no thanks to the extremely dry weather that left my skin real trouble, feel oily but dry at areas, doesnt know which kind of moisturizer to use). will continue using this during the day as this feels a little drying compared to other cleansers.

OK so I've been using this for a week - I'm in my 20's but still can get the odd spot - I love the way it makes my skin feel all tight and squeaky clean BUT dont forget to follow up with a moisturiser or something else because I found it so drying that my skin started to break out - its all under control now tho and I understand how to use it - Thanx Lush! x

I truely do adore this product, it is brilliant for sensitive skin, and it does help with those anoying spots, however i found this dried my skin out just a little!

I LOVE this! iv'e been using it for about two weeks and it's done wonders for my combination skin - gotten rid of most blackheads and i don't get any tightness or irritation. Also good because i get alot of insect bites in summer - sometimes on my face. The calamine in this helps to stop the itching. Must have for me.

This stuff is amazing...I had a really awful spot that had caused a lot of painful swelling on my forehead (i measured the lump - it was about an inch in diameter!!). I broke off a small soft chunk of this and rubbed it into it. The next morning, all of the swelling was gone, and there was only a small spot left! THANK YOU!!!

Some people seem to have the problem that the bar doesn't last long. I slice up my bar into about 4 or 5 reasonable sized chunks [depending on the size of the bar]. I then wrap up the other pieces and put them somewhere dry. I use one piece at a time and store the piece I'm using in a soap dish. This stops the whole bar becoming wet and deteriorating. You can do this with most Lush products; bubble bars, soaps, other solid cleansers.

what an amazing product. Although I am in my late 30's I still get spot breakouts for no reason which last weeks ... until dicovering this product! Within 2 days of a particularly nasty breakout my skin started to clear up and now, a week later is spot free and looking great. A must have product for me :0)

I absolutely love this product. It's great on my oily, spot-prone skin but doesn't dry it out at all. Since discovering it a few years back I can't do without it and it's all I'll use to cleanse my skin.

I found this too drying as a face wash,as was so aggressive,giving me spots,even after 'stickng with it' as others have reported improvement.But this is perfect as a spot cream.Dab of water on the surface & mix to make a cream;apply to spots,even ones just startng,& leave overnight.It takes redness away,reduces lumps in 90% of cases,and dries them up.Not a miracle of course,but its better than anything I've ever tried as a spot cream.I recommend its use this way highly.Makes it last forever too!

This cleanser has really helped my spot-prone skin. It's a little drying, but followed up with Tea Tree Water and Vanishing Cream my skin feels very soft and hydrated. I still get spots, but I find that Fresh Farmacy seems to 'nip them in the bud' before they get a chance to really develop. Grease Lightning is also a fabulous product to use alongside this.

i love this cleanser!!! i have really greasy, spot prone skin and when i first started using lush products, i was advised to try herbalism, which sadly did nothing for me. this one however has worked miracles. my skin feels soft,but it dried my spots out so they disappeared really quickly. il definately be sticking with this from now on.

Ok so, this smells bad! But it works great! It leaves me skin feeling so clean and fresh. I do have acne prone skin, and when I get out of the shower my face isn't as red as it usually is, which is fantastic! I will deffinitley get this again, if I don't find another Lush cleanser that I don't like more.

I was recommended to use this product by a friend as I have become prone to regular break-outs recently. So I decided to give it a go and I'm so glad I did!rnMy face immediately felt very clean and soothed due to the cammomile extracts in this product. rnI would deffo recommend to anyone with problem or blemished skin......rnSo thumbs up for this one, girlies!!!

In my 20s ad have had spots for years, and no matter what I use nothing seems to be effective, and living in a city doesn't help. Have only been using this for a couple of days, but already my skins calmed down and the tones beginning to even out. Love the feel of having really cleaned all the petrol fumes I walk through everyday off my face. Have been using with lots of imperialis which really seems to be helping with any dryness. would definatly recommend

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. I have been using it (along with Tea Tree Water, Vanishing Cream and Ultrabland when I wear make-up) for just under a week now and it really has improved my skin quite dramatically. When I started using it there was a handful of spots across my cheeks but they have completely gone, as has all redness and irritation. I seriously recommend using this with the combination described above for spot-prone skin. Love it to bits!

this product is a life safer! i suffer from acne and this clears up the greasiness of my skin and makes me feel so fresh! also keeps the spots at bay, i use it with cosmetic warrior and it works a treat!

I'm afraid to say that this totally wrecked my skin. I was suffering from quite a bad random breakout and turned to this in desperation. However, it just made my breakout much much more, and turned my skin bright red and painful too - ouch!

For when you armpits need a little tlc! WHAT!? I hear you cry! Our poor pits are mostly mistreated, in the winter they are stuffed into sythetic fabrics & in the summer forced to face the world subject to the ravages of razors & antiperspirants. I ended up using this as a body soap when on a trip & throughout the week the calomine soothed & reduced redness AND the mild antiseptic formula blitzed the pong producing bacteria & without the need to break out the industrial strength deodorant!

i just bought this cleanser recently. i've had an awful break out and sweet japanese girl (although i love it) just wasn't up to the task. i thought that fresh farmacy would be very drying and harsh to use... but i was astonished at how gentle it was! true, it is a little drying, but nothing that a little 'cosmetic lad' won't cure. my face is also looking considerably better already! 5 stars for fresh farmacy!

This is really good, and it's very easy to lather and leaves my skin so smooth. The only problem is, I CAN'T STAND THE SMELL. I HATE IT. IT GIVES ME A HEADACHE. But otherwise, love it. :D

I have been using this cleanser for almost 3 months now and it has changed my skin alot, my skin is spot free and fresh. I have combination skin and it has done alot to reduce the oiliness of my skin,rnIt does dry the skin but you can always apply moisturiser. It works well in combination with Tea Tree water to combat spots n pimples.

I have been using this product for about a week and I have found my chin has got even more spotty but that could be due to hormones. I've read another review that said at first they got spotty with this cleanser and then it settled down after all the badness came out or something so I am going to stick with it for a while and hopefully clear skin will appear...rnrn

I love this! I have oily/dry spotty combination skin due to PCOS and have been using this for a just over a month, it has calmed my breakouts so much they are barely noticible anymore. Much better than any other brand I have used, even Simple! One warning: this does dry out your skin quite abit so would recomend following with a Lush moisturiser, I use Imperialis (for combination skin) which has also made my dry skin areas feel much healthier.

I've been using this for a little while and love how fresh it makes my skin feel. Very good cleansing and balances my oily skin nicely. If I don't follow up with toner and moisturiser straight after I can feel my skin going very tight and dry, but not a problem once I've finished the routine. Currently using the legendary Fresh Farmacy/Tea Tree/Imperialis combo and it's working a treat. I have noticed a real difference, my skin is smoother and spots have calmed right down.

I have very sensitive skin, slightly dry in places, slightly oily in others, and this is the best product I have ever found for cleansing my skin. Occasionally I try other, highly recommended brands, but always come back to fresh farmacy. My husband is a convert too.(It can take a little time to sort out your skin, so you may have to be patient)

The piece i got was £4.04 for a reasonable chunk with the bits on top. It isnt that bright pink though it is almost a light brown. Although it does work. My spots on my chin seem to have cleared up quite well although the ones on my forehead not so well. But i will keep up with using it and see if it gets better!

Dries out oily skin, reduces spots which is good. Sin may be a bit flaky, and they charged me almost a fiver for this in the shop in Westfield and it says her its just under 4 pounds.

It makes my skin, when I touch it, feel clean. Nice!

I agree with the comment that said it gritty- it really is! expected smoother and more soothing- used once and made my skin so sore and tight that wouldnt use again on my face. used on my back and it was a bit better but still really drying. not brilliant sorry lush.

Please write a review rnrnI thought this product was a really good cleanser maybe even a little to good. Because it leaves my skin quite dry afterwards i find it helps to massage moisturizer into my skin while it is still a bit damp.

This is very good for spots! I've found if I have a spot coming up and I wash my face with this it usually goes away before being too noticeable and same with spots that are already out it gets rid of them fast. I wouldn't recommend using it as an every day cleanser though as it is very drying, I've found I have to use extra moisturiser just so my skin doesn't feel so tight and look flaky. Other then that it's an amazing product!

this product is amazing! i have combination skin prone to break outs and at 22 this is something i really cant stand, i went into the store and one of the lovely lushettes sold me this and literally in 2 days my skin had cleared up, i still get the odd spot but am no longer getting break outs (YAY!) i would moisturise after though as it sucks all water from your face :-s

I've used Fresh Farmacy for a long time and love it, but it's not perfect. If you've got really red, acne prone, or sensitive skin, this is the thing to use. After starting to use it, my breakouts vanished and the redness in my face dramatically decreased. But, two warnings: If you use it in the shower as a face soap, the bar itself will dry up after about a month or two and becomes less pleasant to use. Two, you've GOT to use a moisturizer with this, or your skin will be VERY dry afterwards.

I tries this when I got really spotty one month and it completely cleared them up. I had to use more moisturiser than normal (Vanishing Cream is also fab!)on my oily skin as it dried it out but it is so worth it. HOWEVER as soon as it had cleared up my spots (thank you, thank you!!) I had to stop using it as it was making my skin red and tight. I've kept it though in case I break out again and will go back to using Angels on Bare Skin for now.

Have been using it for just over a week on my oily skin and has done nothing for my spots. However, it hasn't made me break out in any more either. My freind has been using it on her combination skin though, and says it works great for the spots on her forehead caused by her full fringe. But it didn't work for me. And the hairy bits on top are just annoying!

My 2nd favourite lush product At 25 i still have acne - not bad but its still there. I use this if i get a few bad spots, however i prefer to use it as a cream then wash my face with it as it tends to make my face tight and dry if used everyday as a cleanser. This is the only thing to actually clear my spots up! I swear my spots have vanished within a day of using this and at the worst shrivelled up to be less noticeable! None of the chemical creams can touch this, please dont stop making this!

I had severe problem skin in my teens, spots, blackheads, sensitive, etc. It calmed down when I realised the big baddies are mineral oils. But never found a cleanser that stops me from breaking out occationaly. This cleanser INSTANTLY felt great,skin looked better overnight! Have used nothing else since, and combined with Imperialis/Vanishing Cream it has given me perfect skin, like I always dreamed of. (And being an actress and model I also live off my looks...Thanks Lush!)

I didn't like the product. I used it for a week and it totally dried out my skin and made it flaky. Plus i got some really bad breakouts.

I actually thought this was soap (got a sample) and used it on my body. It worked WONDERS for my itchy, dry skin. I haven't tried it on my face but my face isn't really a problem area, so I think I will just keep using it on my body. Like the smell and it's a lot more convenient than calamine lotion...

This bar used to be creamy and lovely but is now gritty and awful. What happened to the cleanser that was supposed to be soothing? It is suddenly like sandpaper. Ick.

I’ve used this three times with days in between and am totally unimpressed. Has ruined my skin, its now dried out, flaky and sore. It cleared my face, but dried out my cheeks and I got some breakouts on the top of my forehead and on my cheekbones. I'm not sure about the feeling after you rinse it of, it feels a bit too stripped and a bit like there is a thin layer on my skin.

Does not look or smell very promising but it's really great. It's not as soft as a normal soap but feels a bit like a micro scrub leaving your skin super soft everytime you use it. But also dries the skin very much, so only for very greasy skin and you have to apply a moisturiser immediately after use. But since I use this no more spots.

You have to find out how this product will work for you. When I first used it, my skin felt like it was burning...I thought that there is no way I will be able to use it! Then I left it a few days, and washed with it every other day and my skin handled it much better. So I may have used too much to start with. Now, I am able to use it everyday and have no problem what so ever. It is clearing my skin up nicely using the tiniest amount. Don't give up as it might work used in a different way.

Very undecided about this one. I was recommended this for my very sensitive, dry, problem skin. I've been using it a week now, and although it caused some spots I'm assuming this means its working as a cleanser should and my skin does feel nice,and not as dry, but immediatly after using it my skin feels as though coated with a slightly sticky residue, no matter how much I wash it off! I dont think it smells particularly great either, and I don't like the fact it contains SLS.

Really great product. I wash my face everyday in the shower with this, and the effects are amazing. A small bar of about 100g has lasted me about 6-7 months. Really great deal :)

I would recommend this product to anyone. I was having trouble with hormonal spots so I started using this to keep them down. It worked like a treat. Ever since then I’ve been using this with success.

ok when i first got this at christmas i was rather impressed but now i am not so, in the long term it has done nothing to help my breakouts and it is extremely drying. i used it with tea tree water and vanishing cream as other lush users are recommending but personally this is not for me at all. sorry x

Was tough on my spots but also on my skin, I found it was far too drying to use on my face - I have very dry skin and this cleanser irritated it. I still like to use it on my chest and back though as it is great at zapping the spots there.

Despite being in my late twenties my skin still suprises (and horrifies) me with dreadful breakouts... I stumbled upon fresh pharmacy and I am so glad, it is so much improved!!!!! I wet my skin first then scrub all round, wash it off and then use a moisturiser - spectacular stuff!

I started using this product a few months ago, but I stopped as I wasn't very happy with the results, but I recently returned to using because I had a bad outbreak of spots on my forehead.rnI use it twice a day, and it really has made a difference to my skin, I noticed a change after a day of using it, my skin just wasn't so red, and felt really smooth. I also recommend leaving a bit of the lather on a spot/s overnight and it really does help to make quite big spots go down, and less red.

Don't get me wrong, I love LUSH skincare products, but this really didn't work well with my skin. I have quite sensitive skin and instead of soothing, this left me with small, itchy red spots. Not very nice.

Nothing else has ever left my skin actually looking good until i tried this, and now I'm hooked!

This is great! I use it every morning in the shower. Cleans my face to a squeak but leaves it lovely and soft. I'm 36 with freckly combination skin. I can honestly say I've had no spots since I've been using this cleanser. Yet another fantastic Lush product.

although i find this product a bit tough on my cheeks as i have combination skin, i think it's great for spot breakouts. i break off a bit, apply it to the spot and leave over night and when i wake up it's virtually gone, hurrah!

I have sensitive but greasy skin and this is great. My skin feels clean, but not stripped, and it's so soothing on my acne that it takes out all the redness and leaves my skin looking great!

Hi,rni have very sensitive skin with an oily/dryish t.zone with acne and my cheeks are normal. i use this every night and have been doing so for a while, it doesn't seem to be doing anything at all :[rnnot very keen on the smell but i can stand it and its very easy to use, i don't think it dries my face out much but its not effective on my skin :[

It cleanses well my oily skin and does not strip it off. If I use it regularly it reduces spots visibly. My skin looks mat from now on - it doesn't look oily anymore. Quite unusual for me! (Though it could be the work of moisturiser I use after)rnI do not like that Sodium Lauryl Sulphate is being used for its production. I am intending to try other Lush cleansers with milder ingredients, as I am afraid that those strong ones can cause negative longterm consequences.

I have been using Fresh Farmacy for a while now and i have noticed that when i buy a new bar and rub it on my skin it brings me out in a rash.......abit weird i know, but after 2 days the rash will dissapear and the bar will make my skin all clean and spot free again......... if anyone know's what i am doing wrong OR a different way that i can use the bar i would really appricate it :) thanks! rnP.S i am loving the new website!

just used this for the first time today, so i don't know how it will affect my skin in the long run, but it was lovely to use :p half an hour later, my face feels clean and tight, but not too much! i found it very easy to use as well!

This is too strong for my skin I think. The first few days my skin looked great but after a while my skin started getting dry and patchy with weird bumps. Shame, cos I like the smell of this and it's easy to use.

I am 15 years old and normally my skin is clear with a few small break outs but i had a massive disaster and my skin broke out in big spots and they seemed to be spreading... I brought expensive spot creams such as freederm, and they was use less. I brought farmacy and washed my face and then made a tiny amount of paste from the soap and left it on the affected areas over night and the results were amazing! they had gotten visibley smaller over night! i use this soap 3 times a week due to if you use it everyday it can make skin a LITTLE dry. but after 2 uses my spots had virtually gone! i am so pleased and will use this product for the rest of my life instead of buying silly spot creams.

This is the ONLY facial cleaner I have ever used that has made ANY positive difference to my skin what so ever. & I have literally spent hundreds of pounds trying to clear up my spot-prone skin.It takes off make up like a dream (And I am someone who often has very dramatic eye make up with lots of glitter / neon colours / heavy eye liner etc) cleans my skin beautifully and really helps to clear it up.It doesn't dry it out like some harsher products do, it doesn't clear it up for a bit then make you break out horribly a week later...It just does the job.It's fantastic and nothing else will ever get near my face in place of it ever again!

Well... when i first opened this lillte beauty the smell caught me off guard, its not what i expected, nor was the little seaweed looking dressing that is on top :SAfter giving it a go for the first time i could noticethe differencestraight away, and my skin has never felt like this before. i usually have oily t zone and am VERY prone to spots, this drys the oily bits up nice and TOTALLY reduces my spots. It doesnt totally banish spots but it does something special to them... these are the spots ive dreamt about (compared to the ones i usually get!!!)I would definatly recommend it and just advise to ignore the smell-because it could put you off....

I having very oily and spotty skin and was hoping that this product would resolve my problems. It worked for two days and from there my skin got worse.It made my skin very dry and i broke out in very sore spots.This is one of those products that it either works or it doesn't. I would suggest that before anyone buy this cleanser try to get a small sample of it first as it is quite expensive.

That is what this product should be called. After just one use, my skin felt so much softer and smoother. By the next morning I could actually notice an improvement in my skin. Some spots had just cleared up overnight. I would recommend this to anyone with oily, spot- prone skin like me. You can also use this as an overnight spot treatment. Just mix a little of the soap with some water to form a paste, and apply to the problem area. I tried this and the spot had gotten smaller in size and was less visible by the next morning. This product is also good as a 5 minute mask, leaving your skin unbelievably soft and smooth.However, be wary as this product candry out your skin if used to often.However, this is nothing a little moisturiser can't solve.I would definitely, 100% recommend, this product to anyone with problem skin.

Every lush product is normaly great for me so i thought i would give Fresh face farmacy a go as i suffer from teenage problem skin. How ever this product just didnt work for me and left me with more spots and dry patches. On the plus side for anyone else that wants to give this a go, it has a lovely refreshing smell and is easy to use! xxo

Best cleanser I've ever used! When I first used the soap my skin broke out in lots of spots... all the bad coming out!! After a week all balanced out :-)

I love this stuff so much. I use it every night by rubbing the whole soap bar on my face. Ive got sensitive-combination skin and it calms my skin and takes the oils away. Advice for others...place it in an open soap dish so air can get to it, otherwise if you keep it in the shower it'l go sludgy!!

I have only used this the once so far so am yet to see if it'll work for me long time but first impressions are very good.Slighty foamy which lifts all the dirt from your face, makes my skin feel very clean, cleansed and cared for. I have stupidly sensitive skin and it was great on that, too. Bit concerned about the SLS after reading the other posts so I am off to do a bit of research.Overall, smells and feels yummy and makes me feel very clean.

Hi guys, I can't but give 5 stars to this jewel - I have finally found a skin products that really works!- and send my "thank you!" to Lush, and to that shop assistant in Dublin who recommended me this one over the other cleansers -you should give her a pay rise, Lush! :-PAnyway, to Groendraak: the "grated carrots" are actually Marigold flowers, also known as Calendula, which is the plant that you normally use in a cream formto heal up sun burns, so you see, a very calming product...and I'd say it makes miracles on a spotty but stressed skin...To Pinkie Apple Pie: if you're uneasy with SLS, how about trying the "squidgy" cleansers, like Herbalism? They're totally SLS-free, and I guess that's why they have that soft consistence... Only reason why I didn't personally get one was, the shop assistant asked me: "How much time do you have in the morning?". As I have very little time, she saif FF would be handier, as the other cleansers need to be worked into your hand with water a bit, and I'm absolutely not patient enough for that...so you see, plenty of choice! :-)

YOu need to get a soap dish that has a proper deep drainage pot underneath which will stop water soaking into your bar. Also, if you keep it in a pot with a lid, although this is great for keeping water off it, it doesn't allow the air to get to the bar and dry it. I have an opensoap dish with a inch deep drainage bit underneath and this works fine. P.S. I love it too!

I have a question for all you fresh farmacy users!I have been using FF for about a month now and i LOVE IT its brillient BUT it goes ssoo quickly. I keep it in a soap dish which has a lid on it but for some reason it still goes really slushy which wastes alot of the bar.If anyone has any tips on how to make it last abit longer i would really appreciate it.Thanks in advance

My first use of this was not the best it cleaned my skin so much i had a massive breakout. My skin is normally the perfect type I'm 23 and have never had a breakout before in my life. Saying this i decided to stick with it, as most people say things have to get bad before they get better and this is what i found.I found the key is to combine first use this then the t tabs, then angles on bare skin then herbalism then vanishing cream to make my skin feel lovely and super soft again.My skin has gone back to its much cleaned non spotty state but i feel deep down clean and would and never will go back to using chemicals on my face again.This has made me a firm believer in lush and what their products offer

At first I loved this product, after reading reviews I thought this would work to get rid of my spots but all it did was make the redder and bigger. I used it for about two weeks and I soon as I stopped using it my spots went back to the way they were before using the product. It had also left my skin really dry although I had used mousturiser after using the product.Really disappointed that it did not work but all I will now do is try the other lush cleansers until I find one that does.

I would like to reply to the last comment left here by pink apple pie.Yes, SLS's aren't the safest of chemicals to put into products, especially ones for such sensitive area's such as the face. But, with all due respect, Lush has been running for decades now, and their whole point, is to make natural products, yes, as you have mentioned. So surely, what with their many, many years of experience, they must have researched into this far more than yourself, and if one thinks about it, would they have put something potentially dangerous that could even put them out of business in their stores? No way. And has Lush to this date been in trouble because of the SLS's put in their products? No they haven't. You don't even know how much they put into their products, for all you know, they could have only put the slightest amount in, and i am certain that that is probably all they have put in. And on a final note, pink apple pie, with all due respect, have you ever tried to manufacture products as natural as Lush's? No? It must be agonisingly difficult, so before you go shouting the odds, i suggest you take into account the limited resources Lush can work with.

I have horrible combination skin, you know, the kind that cannot decide whether it wants to be oily or dry, and decides to be both! And on top of that, it decides to produce mean pimples and blackheads...well anyway, a girl at a Lush store reccommneded this product to me, and i was excited about it, because she made it sound so good. Of course she would talk it up, she works for Lush. Anyway, when I first started to use Fresh Farmacy, i loved it! It instantly helped clearing up my oily skin and my pimples. It was bliss, believe me. However, after one and a half weeks of using it, my skin became extremely dry and flaky, and it was so horrible. My skin never does that, either, so I didn't know what I was doing wrong. I started researching some ingredients in Lush's products, and one of their most famous ingredients, sodium lauryl sulfate, was in Fresh Farmacy. Sodium lauryl sulfate is a foaming agent, and it can strip the skin of its natural and safe oils, leaving it dry and dehydrated and flaky.Very bad!What I am trying to say is, why is Lush, a supposed 'natural' brand, putting a horrible foaming agent, found in detergents etc, into shampoos, conditioners and their cleansers?? Sodium lauryl sulfate is SO bad. It dried out my skin completely, and so I am at a loss as to why Lush would put such a thing into their products!A lot of people may disagree with me, and say that SLS is not bad for you at all, and that is fair enough :) , but it does not work for me, and I just want to warn everyone who is thinking of using this product. Don't waste your money on something that isn't 100% natural, because it could be doing more harm than you think. If you're not convinced, do some research on Lush's ingredients, such as SLS, before you rush out and buy this so-called natural product.

This is a fab cleanser.....thought it was going to dry my skin out after reading previous reviews but it is actually really great!!I have combination skin which can be prone to breakouts (even though im almost 30) and was previously using AOBS in the morning...which dont get me wrong was fab but didnt really help my spots at all. I received a free sample offresh farmacyin my local store and have been using this for over a week, within the first few days my skin really started to look alot healthier and clearer,I dont thinkI could live without it now.I use fresh farmacy in the morning followed with tea tree toner and imperialis moisturiser and at night, sweet japanese girl to take my make-up off with tea tree toner again.I find these products work brilliantly in keeping my skin looking clear and healthy....and ive had plenty of comments too, I could not live without my gorgeous lush products. xxxxx

This was the first item i brought from lush and i wasn't really expecting it to work as ive tried all the big name clensers and they didn't help my skin at all! Anyway a week later and the results are amazing, i had alot of blemishes on my cheeks and within 4 days they had gone. I also use the tea tree toner with the vanishing cream moisturiser, i have already recommended lush to ALL my friends!

I'm surprised by all of the people who said that this dried out their skin - all the big name acne cleansers have dried my skin out horribly - to the point where I've peeled - but this soap is perfect for me. I don't even get tightness and I don't use a toner or moisturiser unless I'm applying make up afterwards. It's not actually meant to remove make up, so some of the people who are getting spots might need to use sweet japanese girl or baby face beforehand to get make up off.All of us, no matter how old, are going to have occasional spots regardless, so don't expect a miracle, but this works for someone who's nearly 30, has used and been dried out by every acne product on the market and (thanks to Lush) has now proven that it's the chemicals in mainstream facewash causing their acne, not freakish hormone levels (tried hormone-adjusting too to no effect...) If I'd tried this ten years ago, I could have twenties a whole lot more. My only small complaint is that the grated carrot is annoying and unnecessary - I'm happy to just have plain soap, particularly since it works a treat. The carrot gets everywhere and worries visitors. I think they think I eat carrots in the bath!

Since I prefer cleansers that do not have larger particles in it (unless they are fine exfoliating particles), Fresh Farmacy is my favourite of all the cleansers I have tried so far. It is a practical bar without fuss and that's what your skin will like as well. I have the feeling that it cleanses deeply because it is so fine and its scent does not last long and therefore can't distract from any other nice scents you may be using.

I'm currently on my secend bar of Fresh Farmacy and my skin has never looked as healthy and as clean/blemish free before.Being a teenager i have oily/combination skin which can be a huge problem. Throughtout the day my face seems to produce tones of oil and everysince i've been using this, it's stayed matte for the majority of the day.My spots seem to dissapear after a while and now i'm left with the most gorgeous, clean looking skin ever.Thank-You Lush! =]

well its the best for my spotty teenage skin anyway and ive tried probably everything on the market!i got a sample of this the other week and its lasting me ages!i wont say its got rid of every single blemish and imperfection because thats not true, but its deffinately helping toclear them!i use it as a night time cleanser (herbalismin the morning)and i have taken some advice below of dabbing a bit on spots and leaving it on overnight etc. and its working great! loads better than clearasil, murad and even freederm!another plus is that its not even that drying like some have said if used with my tea tree water(not as drying as clearasil and some others can be). i will deffinately be sticking with this one!!

i really like this out of the 3 cleansers ive tried ( sweet janenese girl, and angels on bear skin) this is by far the best one it foams up when u use it, and feels like u have had a proper wash, love it

I was given a sample of Fresh Farmacy by a lovely lady at the Braehead store. After a couple of uses I made a beeline back to buy a bigger bar (although the teeny bit lasted me ages) I have fairly clear skin, but it is combination and I have bigger pores than I would like. There is a visible difference in the size of my pores after each use of the bar, if I could stop being so lazy and using a different cleanser at night, they might get too tiny to see.

i was advised to buy this from a friend to treat my really bad acne but wasnt sure if it would work but just after a few days of using it with herbalism it cleared up pretty much all of my acne and left my face feeling clean and soft and smelling really nice : ) i would recomend this to anyone with bad spot problems, It really works! and now im left feeling confident with my new glowing face! Been waiting a few weeks before writing a review of this product, simply because I have spent a fortune in the past on expensive cleansers which have sorted my uber-oily skin for a couple of days, lulling me into a false sense of security,and then... just stopped working?! Had a '3 day hump' with this - spots and dry patches - but since then has cleared my skin up brilliantly. The tip about making a paste and leaving on individual spots works too. However, I would stress that this is probably best suited to oily/very oily skin as it is a very strong cleanser, and toning and moisturising afterwards is vital: in other words, gone are the days of 'washing and going'!In response to those complaints about the bar not lasting that long, keep the bar itself completely dry and away from the bath/shower. Dampen a face flannel or shower mitt and just rub it on the side of the bar. It allows you to take off as much cleanser as you need without the whole bar melting away. Been doing this with mine and there's barely any gone. Admittedly, this has required me to sprint, naked, between the shower and the specially created 'dry shrine' for my soap (which, in a shared house, has been interesting) but the results have been well worth it. Overall, an extremely effective product but - like the best women I know - extremely high maintainance. Commitment-phobes need not apply.

When I bought this, I really liked how it looked and smelled.Only problem was that after using it for a few days it made my face kinda sore and I got a red rash on my cheeks. :(I'm not saying that this will happen to most people, because I have the most sensitive skin ever! I'm just advising others with stupidly sensitive skin to choose something a bit more gentle.Loves loves lovesxxx

I like this one.Ive got skin that goes stir-crazy if you put basically anything but water on it and this helps it to calm down.ANDI get eczma on my faceif Im not really careful. :(.I haven't got a problem with it making my skin feel dry and tight, but I do tone and moisturise with Lush stuff after. :)

I went to lush looking for a cure for my greasy, yet de-hydrated skin, and was givena small piece of this to try. It stopped my greasy skin in its tracks, but left my skin feeling dry and tight (probably would have been fine if i drank more water!). Has a nice gentle exfoliating touch to it, and smells good.

Wow!! I really love this cleanser as it truly does clear up my spots. It does get a little dry but I tone after cleansing with tea tree water and followed my ultralight moisturiser. Works a TREAT!! I love it so much I'm gonna order myself another 3 more bars!! I would definately recommend this to people with problem prone skin! Thanks LUSH!!!

I have very oily skin, however I combat it with Fresh Farmacy. I can't use it daily as it makes me very dry, but I always have some in, use it a few times a week and it really helps keep my spots under control (it sucks still getting them in myate 20s ha ha). I also LOVE the smell of it.

Not really impressed with this one. I've been using it for a week or so and it's given me awful breakouts!Maybe it's just not right for my skin, it's a little drying as well.

Great for dabbing on spots to dry them out, however I found FF to bea little drying for my skin. I have found that Herbalism is more effective on combination/dry skin.

Everytime I order from the website or pass by a Lush shop, I always buy this for my sister. She has oily, spot prone skin, and as she wears a hard hat at work, they like to form over her forehead and along her hairline. This product works wonders, clears the spots right up in a few days, stops them from coming back and her skin looks lovely. The only problem is, it doesn't last much longer than a couple weeks because she uses it every morning!

I was expecting more from this soap/cleanser. but when i firstused it it felt just likeordinary soap. The only thing different was that it didn't dry my skin out and didn't smell of much. After a few days tho the little spots i usually get did disappear, but I used a combinationof this, tea tree toner and celestial moisturiser. good soap,nothing toshout about though.

I have clear skin and am in my 30's, this bar is great. My skin is very sensetive and can react to many products. It is good for skin which have lived a little too and will help make the best of what you have got. I don't find it drying but I always moisturise after washing. I like the cheery colour although the big block had some dodgy looking bits on top, like a carrot salad. I tried a sample for a few days and then I bought it. Big thumbs up.

I got the above tip from another review and it's a great one. Wet your (clean) finger, rub it on the bar, and dab on stubborn or nasty spots before bedtime. I've never used anything that kills them so well, and believe me, I've tried millions of lotions and potions. It dries the spot out nicely, then you just need to let it heal.Also, I've been using this (for about 3 weeks) on my chest and slight bacne and it's really making a difference, where NOTHING else ever has. It is NOT a miracle worker but it's truly making a difference which, anyone who suffers with this will know, makes a huge difference to your confidence.Other than that, I use this every evening or two (I use herbalism in the morning) and my facial skin is looking better than it has in ages!

This is the only thing that will cure my icky, oily, teenage skin! It's fabulous! After using it for a couple of days, my skin is always really clear. It does make my skin a bit dry, but that doesn't really matter because my skin is so oily. My only rant is that the bars don't last very long, and I do recommend keeping them in a liquid tight container, otherwise it will melt away even quicker.

I'm not convinced on this one. I have really sensitive skin and to be honest most products don't agree with me. The bar is dissapearing really quickly and its really gritty. And its brought me out in spots! Total opposite to what it says it does! It smells like really cheap soap too. Does get rid of all your make up though.

I haven't been able to get a bar that isn't either gritty or melts away really quickly for months. I know lush batches are sometimes different but sort it out guys. 5 stars for the good bars but down to 2 for the quality.

This didn't last long enough for me to see what the results could be. Less than a week before it had all melted away in the shower! And it's quite expensive so not something you want to replace that quickly. Disappointing.

I used fresh farmacy in combination with herbalism this morning. All of my blackheads have dissapeared my spots are beggining to fade (even the big nasty cystic one on my cheek is almost gone!) and my skin is no longer greasy and shiny.The twoproducts are an amazing double act i think thiscould very well be the cure to my 6 years of moderate acne horror! thanks lush=D

From the reviews, it seems like it works great for some and terribly for others.Idecidedtotaketheriskwithit,however,andI got this about a week ago. Since using it a couple of times, it'sgentleontheskin,butit's made my face oilier anddrieditoutatthesametime. It feels rough as well, and I've got more spots than when I was just using my mud flats on my face, apparently not good to use body soap on your face but it works for me. I think I'll stick with that.

i also got given a sample of fresh pharmacy, this soap like cleanser is amazing, i use it after ive used herbalism because of the chamolmile it soothes my face and feels gawjus when your lathering it all up, again this has helped with my problem skin!!!!

I have really awful combination skin that just got worse when I moved into a house with hard water. I used to get monthly breakouts that were impossible to get rid of and my skin was always oily, even just an hour after I washed it. I started using this just a few days ago and am AMAZED at the condition my skin is in. I use it morning/early afternoon and at night. I don't know if it's this or the Enzymion I use afterward, but my skin is soft, matte and glowing! I love it!!!!!

I love it! Very good on sore, sensitive and spotty skin. Even on my raw eruptions it was very soothing. Helped clear up my major spotty parts very well.Would be even happier to see it made minus the Sodium Laurel Sulphate! Lush you need to get shot of that ingredient!

This product is great. I have spotty, sensitive skin and this works a treat. Its brilliant. It makes your skin soft, clean and clear! Been using this since February and can honestly say that teamed up with Herbalism, it's the best product that I've ever bought for myoily,sensitive,problem skin. Im 36 and my before I discovered Lush last christmas, my skin had been getting progressively worse for about 2 years - massive, sorebreakouts over and over again in the same place leading to scarring on my cheeks. My tried and trusted products just seemed to stop working when I hit 35 and I've spent so much money trying to find products that didn't make the problem worse. Now my skin is looking so much better, the oily patch on my forehead is gone and the scarring on my cheeks is starting to heal. I found that it made my skin a bit dry and sensitiveat first butthat stopped after about a week.Now that the spots are under control, I'm going to rotate Fresh Farmacy & Herbalism with Sweet Japanese Girl to try and stimulate my skin to heal more quickly. Thank you so much Lush, I'm never going to use anything else from now on!

As an everyday cleanser this is too drying on my oily skin (which I found odd). Instead I use it as an emergency mask by rubbing a wet finger on the bar to produce a foam. I dab the foam over any spots, leaving it on over night, it dries up the breakout brilliantly. Also great for blackheads. My t zone has never looked so clear.

I bought this for my 24 year old son who was trying all sorts of products to alleviate his spot outbreaks! Regular use of this product cleared up his skin in about a week or two with no more regular bouts of horriblespots. Best thing he has ever used!

This cleanser left me spotty and I found that it really dried my skin and so I chucked it in the bin after first use! Immediately after using it my skin was reeeeally dry and then 2-3 days later I had several spots on my face!

The bar itself smells really good, but it doesn't really work for me. I have problems with occasional breakouts, so after reading so many reviews about how it helped acne prone skin, I was ready to give it a go. Since I started using it, my T zone has acted up, and even my cheeks weren't safe from pimples. I've decided to go back to my coal face and herbalism combination and just deal with the occasional breakout rather than finding new pimples every day.

I suffer really badly with my skin which produces too much oil - I have spend £100's on face products and I can honestly say this is the best by far.I guarentee that if you have reallyoily skin, after using this for a month -you will never use any other product!!!Thank you :)

I am prone to major breakouts of spots and often suffer from dry flaky patches with oily areas around my chin and nose lol but i have had this product since valentines day and after day 1 of using it my god i my face looked like a pizza toping yuck but i was warned of this so i stuck with it and a month down the line my oily patches have dried out my dry patches have smoothed and improved and my spots have almost gone but you have to stick to it and team it up with a decent moisturizer because to start with it made every thing twice as bad and my face was so dry and itchy so i teamed it up with baby face (to use after the fresh farmacy) and to polish it off i bought sypathy for skin moisturizer it sounds a lot which is why i'm only giving it a 3* rating as all 3 products put together cost a small fortune and i'm not sure how fresh farmacy would work all by its self.

I tried this as it said spot clearing and it does work although it did leave the skin either side of my nose at the top of my cheeks a bit too dry (i'm prone to a touch of dry skin this area) but i found that after i toned my skin and moisturised it cleared away that little problem!

I brought this a while ago, in an attempt to try and clear up my spot prone skin. I can honestly say it really worked! I only had a few spots and they seemed to clear up very quickly. The only problem was that it made some of my skin a bit dry, but that might have been because i was using it too much!I stopped using it and the dreaded spotscame back, Overall it did a great job, this is going to be a permanant product on my shopping list from now on!

I bought this last week on the advice of a Lush SA, and to be honets, I havent seen much of an improvement yet, my skin is still oily,my blackheads are still there and I've broken out in a couple of spots, BUT i'm sticking with it, I know it'll take time for my skin to adjust. I'm forever hopeful that something will eventually sort out my horrible skin!

i love this cleanser. i read a couple of reviews below & had the same experience as some... i broke out a few days after i started using this! i was mortified & disappointed because i really liked the smell of this and the texture is divine. the texture is my favorite part. then my skin just cleared up. i use this every day. i think, now that i'm well-into my second month using it, that it brought up all the junk out of my skin at first & that's why i broke out. i'm sold on it. i'll keep buying it. i rub it right onto my wet skin then i use the herb-y side for scrubbing my face with. great product.

Brilliant stuff, since using this I now only have the odd occasional spot or 2, instead of a really bad break out when I get stressed. Also it lasts for a fair while as well, especially if you cut it into small slices. I must admit, although it has done wonders for my spots, it does make my skin very dry...however I simply use some cosmetic lad on my face and its sorted.

Quite seriously, i have really stupid skin thats both dry and spotty in the same places, nd really fragile skin under my eyes, probably from lashings of black makeup around my eyes day in day out. But Anyway. This little slice of perfection has fixed it! The first time i used it, my skin felt a little waxy afterwards, but when i woke up in the morning, i was positvely glowing. There was a week or so of spotty skin, which was obviously a bit of a purge of all the crap in my skin, and now, 2 weeks later, my skin feels deliciously soft, healthy and looks sexy as nobodys business! Words can't describe how much I adore this cleanser! I was a bit wary to start with as I've never used a 'soap' like cleanser before, but I'm glad I took the plunge! I only use a small lathered amount and it takes off all my foundation. To be honest, after using this for two weeks I don't even need foundation anymore. My skin has never been this great. Ok, I don't think Lush have quite got to grips with the concept of cleanser. I never got spots until I used this- one week in and my face was a mess! My skin was taughtened, but not in a nice way- I was described as 'red and shiny' after I used it, which isn't a great look. Lush is extremely overpriced, but if the item works you don't mind so much. It sure is expensive being an ethical shopper........

I follow the same skin care routine as Kym0r (see below). I wash with Fresh Farmacy, tone with Tea Tree Water and then use Imperialis to moisturise, I have really seen an improvement, the spots on my jawline have disappeared completely. Its not a miracle worker but my bad skin is mostly down to bad diet and hectic lifestyle. It does leave my face a bit tight but as soon as I stick on a bit of Imperialis my skin is smooth. Highly recommended for combination skin!!!

It just frightened me a bit, my skin is feeling a bit better since I've been using loads of moisturiser, but gah, I have confidence problems with my skin enough without Fresh Farmacy having to make it worse ^^ Glad to know that it will improve if I stick with it!! Dear Candyfloss....You have to slick with it! It clears all the muck out of your skin and it will look a little bit poo for a week or so, but you will look fantastic when that phase has ended. It truly will be worth it. I suffered with a blackhead problem on my nose and chin for decades and it has sorted me right out, but they had to come out to stay out.

This was great when I first started using it, but something has gone horribly drastically wrong!! My skin is so awful!! It was fine at first, and suddenly my skin has been raw red, peeling and AHH!! It's totally ruined my confidence- I can't even wear make-up to cover it up because it just shows up even more. I've had to cake my face in moisturiser for the past age, and I feel so rubbish. I thought it might be fine because I have such oily skin, but obviously not. Glad it works for other people, but it was definatly not right for me, even if I thought it was at the beginning. :(

I'm using this together with Imperialis, otherwise my skin would get dry. It's way softer, smoother, has less blackheads and I very rarely get a spot.Though as someone has pointed out before, in the very first week of use it made my skin awful! I was very unhappy about it at first, because the cube didn't seem to get any smaller and I was sad I couldn't use it, but ever since my skin is very happy with it and so am I.

Ordered this last week or so, been using it since. I cut it into squares, hoping it'd last longer, but I've already finished one square of it. It disappears pretty quickly!! It is super drying, which can be solved with moisturiser. I think it's pretty good, I like the smell and I put it on my spots and leave overnight, and they shrink considerably by the next day!! Personally I find it more effective to wash my face with it but leave it on for a while, like a facemask, then wash it off. Nice product, but definatly not very good for dry skin.

I had high hopes for this one from all of the good reviews I'd read about it but it made my skin even worse. It seriously dries out the skin and I found if I didn't put moisturiser on within a couple of minutes of using it then I'd find lines and cracked skin on my face! Apparantly Sodium Lauryl Sulphate is very bad for acne prone skin (it's comedogenic = pore clogging) so I don't understand why it works for so many people but it's by no means a miracle cure for everyone. I've moved onto aqua marina now- I'm hoping i'll one day find a lush cleanser that suits me!

I had been using this for 6 weeks and i actully made my skin worse and didnt help with carlming it down, read all the good reviews and was tempted by it saying you wouldnt need to wear make up after using it but i needed to wear more, the good thing about it was it did make your face feel tighter , moved on to Aqua marina and thats great!!!!!! Shame it didnt work for me .

Very disappointed with this one. Read all the positive reviews and got a sample of it from my local Lush, only to find that it left my skin horribly dry and flaky, and made my spots worse rather than better -while I was using it I had the same spot for 3 weeks!

I have quite oily skin, butI can get odd patches around my chin and neck that often go quite dry. I am prone to blemishes, particularly around my forehead and chin, and unfortunately have one or two nasty acne scars! I bought this product on reccomendation, and I have to say...it's looking hopeful!Only been using the product for two days, and already my oily skin has been left dry, yet soft and smooth! The drier areas have also been left a lot softer than before. My complexion has become even (no red blotches after coming out of the shower!) And the scars are already fading....now just to wait and see if the blemishes cease to bother me! Definitely a worthwhile product, even just for the fresh feel afterwards.

I alternate this product with Aqua Marina. This is great in the morning when you want wake up your skin in the shower, feel a spot emerging or just need a damn goodclean. It is soothing, deeply cleansing and spots are frightened of it! Combined with Lush's Tea Tree Toner and your favourite Lush Cream, it is a real winning combination. My skin has never been so clear. Also, it is not just for teenagers with spots or problem skin - oh no my friends. Fresh Farmacyis not ageist. There are some of us that are long pastinto their 30's who still suffer fromstupid skin problems! Whatever your problem, use this bar and pay homage!

I would not recommend this for someone who has dry skin as me, my skin was really upset after this.On the other side, I've heard ONLY good stuff from people that doesn't have this really picky and hard-to-deal-with skin that I have, so do not be afraid to buy it! BUT, if you do have dry spots as well as spot-spots, try Aqua Marina instead.

I have been using this cleanser for a few days and my spots have cleared up completely.I have always had oily patches andacneeveryday. I had used rubbish chemical filled cleansersbefore that just seemed to make it worse and more red, sore by the day. This cleanser cleanses, soothes and gets rid of the excess oils in my skin. I then use the Tea Tree Water to take away even more oils also the cleanser so it doesn't dry outand use Ultra Light Moisturiser tomake the skin soft, alsohelps sooth the spots more.Thanks so much for a great soap bar that actually gets rid of the excess oil and acne that drove me mad daily!

Its really really helped my spots, and my god it makes my skin softer than i could imagine! At first i wasnt too impressed, but i carried on useing it and after a couple of days my skin looked and felt amazeing. i am definatly going to buy this again, i truly couldnt live without it! I've been useing it about 2 weeks and theres still plenty left. i would definatly recomend this. the only downside is that it did dry out my skin a little, my skin is sort of dry anyway but i can sometimes get away with not moisturizering after i clense my skin but with this i definatly have to use moisturiser after every time i use it so i wouldnt recomend it to people with really dry skin. but everyone else should try it, i have combination skin and its really helped

This cleansor is amazing! I stumbled across it in lush after stocking up on goodies and being offered a free sample of it. It has been brilliant on my breakout/combination skin leaving it soft and soothed and a little goes a long way :) Thankyou for being so nice lush and giving me a sample which has turned into my skin care :)

This cleanser is fab, i use it twice a day and my skin has never looked, or felt so great! I follow it with tea tree water and imperialis moisturiser!Tip: Don't use it to wash your face in the shower, it made my skin so tight! So i use it once a get out if the shower! :)

I bought this for my 13 year old daughter who has been having problems with black-heads and spots, well she loves it, she is not really fussed on the smell but she loves what it's doing to her face, her nose use to have a like a line of white-heads going across the bridge now it's gone and she says her face is super soft which she really likes. Over the weekend she was away and forgot to take it with her and loads of spots came out on her chin and a few on her cheek, she once again started using it on Monday and most of the spots have gone and she is smiling again A* product!

It REALLY stings if you get it in your eye, more than other products I have used! I quite like the smell and texture, and I think it works really well as a cleanser. It is really soluble though and although it comes in bar form, it does start to disintegrate into a mush all over the tiles after wetting it for use several times which makes it a bit inconvenient, which is the only reason i'd be hesitant to buy again.

I tried this ages ago,thinking that it would help my spotty and oily skin, but i was very dissappointed!It made my face sting and go all dry and itchy.I'm sure that it is fine for some other people-it's difficult to no what the effects of a product will be like, but just to warn anyone who's sensetive to herbalism not to use this as it's got loads of calamine in!(Which is what i am sensitive to)..Don't let me put you off though, try it for yourself, it may work! -Just hope you're not like me!

Just bought this Product and im instantly seeing results. I have combination skin that is really sensitive and i have some high colouring. Gone is the oil slick on my forehead and the breakouts on my chin and neck seem to be drying out and they arent so sore now. My skin isnt feeling tight or dry either. Il definatly persevere with this product.

Fresh farmacy left my skin feeling very clean and fresh and i would definately recommend this product. However, one word of warning, its really important that you do not get this in (or any where) near your eye! It becomes grainy and breaks up a bit when its wet so it will really, really sting if it gets into your eye!!

Ive been using fresh pharmacy for about 3 weeks now and to say im impressed is an understatement. I suffer from spots and im not sure why as i have a good diet and never suffered this badly in my teenage years (im 25). Ive tried all the expensive ranges you can think of and every antibacterial cream on the market and they just dont live up to this! Okay, so i do still get the occasional spot appear but nothing like the amount i was getting a month ago. It's also helping to get rid of the scarring from previous spots. I use this with the lush tea tree toner and a different brand of moisturiser as i havent tried a lush moisturiser as yet. Excellent...amazing stuff!!!

This is just the best cleanser in the whole wide world! I've tried expensive cleansers, cheap cleansers but only Fresh Farmacy has got my skin smooth as silk! I ran out of the soap about a week ago and already i can feel the spots coming back! In the meantime i've been using Angels on Bare Skinbut it really doesnt work as well.I desperatly need some more Fresh Farmacy!! Quick!!

This is just the best face soap ever. It really controls spots and greasy skin - if I go away for the weekend without it, it starts to show on my skin!

Recently I went to a spa and had them look at my acne. I am 22 years old and was feeling very frustated with my skin and have spent literally hundreds of dollars on products. The women at the spa told me that number one thing to do is to check the iingredients of the products you are using and if you can't read the,don't use it. That's when I discovered Lush. Natural products are better and they but so much work into making them just right. I love Farmacy - best soap I have ever used --- Hands down! The woman at the Lush counter said you can make it into a foam and leave it on for five minutes. It works wonders!

I bought this for my teenage daughter, she has eczema along with the usual teenage-skin problems and had struggled to find a product which didn't upset her skin. She loves it, her skin looks and feels brilliant. In fact, she raved about it so much that I used it a few times myself and now we are sharing it! Guaranteed!! Ihave sensitive skin andfirst got this from the shop on Carnaby Street.When I first started using it I didn't like it - it made my skin feel tight and brought me out in spots. However, I persevered with it (I didn't want to waste it) and lo' and behold after about a week I had lovely, glowing skin! My theory is that it brings all the nasties up to the surface of the skin, then washes them away. I ran out of this when the website was down so I had to wait to get my next supply and during that time my skin went all horrible again. I finally laid my hands onsome and had to go through a week of spotty skin -again. This product is so fantastic, it deserves 10 stars, it makes your skin perfect without foundation, so, it saves youmoney! However, this product requires commitment. You CANNOT run out once you've started using it!

I have suffered from extreme eczema since I was 6months old, I am now 22 and up till last year I had become used to not being able to use anything but water to wash and cleanse my skin. My Boyfriend was curious one day and went into Lush Dundee. The staff went out of their way and gave him loads of free samples for me to try including FF. I used to have tons of blemishes on my face until I used this.. It really calmed my skin down and the spots have decreased to almost non-existent. Non-drying fabulous followed by a good lush moisturiser... If you have problem skin can't recommend it more!! Try it... Sample it and see for yourself!

i have been using fresh farmacy since i discovered lush and it was recommended to me by a member of staff,i used to have REALLY bad skin,it's sooo much better now and i have also made my sister start using it because her face used to be worse than mineand it's cleared up alotnow,it's definately one of my top products.

i used this on my dry skin and it didnt dry it up at all. i think its helped with my spots aswell, its got tiny little bits in it that exfoliate your skin. only downer is my bit of hay on the top fell off-not that i new what it was there for anyway
