One of my fave products at lush, this gel smells FAB! It wakes you up, makes your hair and body soft, and makes you a happy hippy! This product has no faults! x

Got this in a gift set, liked it as a shower gel but thought it was overpriced as it wasn't particularly special UNTIL I had to rush one day and quickly used it as a shampoo as well, oh my god! My hair usually needs tubs of conditioner but I don't need any with this and it also brings out the colour in my (natural) hair too. The only bad thing I'd say is the smell doesn't linger that much.

Yummy grapefruit! Nice and refreshing and citrusy. Smells like a glass of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. Lathers quite nicely. I wish the smell lingered though because it is such a nice smell! Good consistency. Overall, thumbs way up. I can't wait to get a bigger size! Yummmmmmm!!

Great for the summer time, smells citrus but not too much... there's also a sweetness to it! I always buy a mini bottle to take to festivals and on holiday!

Again a nother brilliant product, use it when i go swimming. Gets the chlorine smell off my hands and out or my hair beautifully!

Bought a little bottle of this to try and will be getting a bigger one when it runs out - although I'll keep the smaller bottle for refilling for travels. It really does wake you up in the morning with a nice refreshing fuity smell and it is also kind to my ecezma and psoriasis prone skin. Love to use it before shaving too as it calms the skin in preparation and makes me feel really clean. Only looses a star because the lovely smell doesn't last long enough in my opinion!

This has a fabulous scent even though I'm not into citrus-y smells, it's not overwhelming. My fiance loves it too and uses it as a shampoo. It was slightly drying to my skin but nothing a great LUSH lotion couldn't handle. Will definitely buy it again.

I'd heard many things about this product and I couldn't wait to try it! I can tell you now, I was far from disappointed! This stuff smells amazing and I love the fact that I can wash my hair with it. I totally reccomend this product. Well done once again, Lush!

Really good for greasy hair, Smells divine and is perfect for a quick, cooling shower. Brilliant product all round. 1st product i ever bought. Wonderfull!

This is definitely a good product - it lathers really well and leaves the skin very clean, yet soft. The smell is straight grapefruit to me and isn't really anything special. I could find something exactly like it in a drugstore. However, it's cleansing and ability to make my skin soft are why I'm giving it 4 stars and will probably buy it again!

Smells beautiful, smells of happiness in fact! The fact that you can use on both hair and body is a massive bonus. Wonderful for waking you up in the morning!

waking up in the morning can be a drag.. NOT IF YOU HAVE THIS LITTLE TREAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO! its like a lift in the morning.. really wakes you up and gets you going. refreshing and energising are the best words i can think of. for a relaxing sensation its not really the product to use, but its just right and really hits the spot when you need a bit of OOOMPHF!

This is the perfect 'morning-pick-me-up' product, for those who find it hard to wake up, but if you're looking for a relaxing 'before bed time' shower gel I definately would'nt recommend this. Happy Hippy is great for those who want to wake up or the young...but for someone looking to relax in the shower this would'nt be my first choice. Very citrus.

I'm not sure whether I'd buy this again, not because of the shower gel itself (lathers really well, leaves you feeling squeaky clean but nice and soft), but because I'm not sure about the smell. Obviously, if you like grapefruit you will be in heaven when you use Happy Hippy. If you don't, you will absolutley hate it. I'm undecided; the sharp, tangy grapefruit scent is perfect when I want to be perked up, but I can't use it every day as I find it a little too sharp and overpowering.

I got given this in a gift set and would never have tried it otherwise. It is amazingly good at waking me up in the morning and makes me feel like sunshine. Only problem is that I suffer from sporadic bouts of very dry and irritable skin, so I can't use it very often :( I mostly have to use a highly moisturising soap-free cream shower wash (not a Lush product - none of yours work for my skin, sorry!) and those don't come in lovely, fresh, invigorating scents. There's a challenge for you!

This stuff smells absolutly gorgeous and it makes the reat of your bathrom smell like it too plus you'll be smelling like it all day. It mad me happy happy happy for the rest of the day and that was just a sample. I will be going to my lush shop to get 500g of happy hippy!

well i started using this product after lush discontinued snow fairy ^sobs^ . please bring it back please please :D It will never compare to snowfairy as it was soo sweet and glittery. i like the smell of happy hippy and it's really thick so it creates a really nice lather. the bottle last for ages and it always makes u relaxed but please lush bring bak the snow fairy !!!

I got this as part of the Happy gift set and Im still unsure about it. The smell can bea bit too strong. It is very citrus-y, predominantly grapefruit (which I love to eat) but it does over power your shower a bit.The consistency of the stuff is an actual gel which I like and it foams up lovely - definatley makes me feel clean. Just a slightly shocking scent.

i originally bought this to use during the summer, cause its a nice uplifting citrus sent. but all the other lush bodywashes i have just out shined over this one, and i ended up handing it down to my mom because it just wasnt worth useing next to all the other great products.

i love it, the best shower gel by far. i could happily stay in the shower for hours with this stuff, and it's great on your hair and in the bathwhich is fab. There's not much to dislike about this! It's a lovely cheering citrus smell and a nice thick consistency. What surprised me about it was that it was absolutely brilliant as a shampoo! I've got very long, thick hair, so I need a really serious shampoo. This lathers up an absolute treat and leaves your hair really clean right to the root. I get greasy roots with the most maddeningly dry ends, and this leaves my hair soft and clean. Use with a bit of American Cream and viola- perfect hair. I buy for its qualities as a shampoo alone. Incidentally it's lovely as a shower gel too!

I really love this. it smells of natural fruitiness rather than horrible synthetic fruits you get in cheaper brands. it is really refreshing, especially on holiday or when its hot and it doubles up as a great detoxing shampoo, brilliant!

This is lovely stuff. I bought it as a post-breakup treat for myself and whilst it hasn't magically solved my lovelife crisis it certainly brightened my spirits. The gel smells gorgeous and a little goes a long way. It leaves your skin lovely and soft and the bathroom smells really good after your shower! I would definitely recommend this product.

Certainly does what it says on the bottle! Smells gorgeous, shame it doesnt last that long afterwards...smelling like a fruit salad afterwards cant be all bad!

I expected this to smell more acidic, but it's a sweet grapefruit smell with a lovely lather. Refreshing change for a citrus scented shower gel from oranges or lemons.

I received this shower gel off one of my friends for my birthday. It is a clean and refreshing gel, and after you use it you smell lovely! The price for the 100g bottle is a good price, so when the one I have now runs out, I'll definitely come back for more!

i love this it makes me feel clean and refreshed. only problem is everyone else in my house uses it too. a little goes a long way if you use a body puff (please tell my brother this, he uses a load of the stuff) its very well priced as too. well done lush

i got this yesterday while i was in bluewater and i can tell you it smells sooooo lovely and refreshing. i 100% recommend and it makes you want to stay in the shower forEVER. i love the ballistics as well, but this made me revert from bath to shower, and this is from 1 or 2 washes!

I got a large bottle of this free during the Lush January sales and I have used it every time I have showered since. A small amount goes a long way and the smell is incedibly refreshing! I will be buying this again.

Got this in one of Lush's pre packed giftboxes that a friend bought for me. It's not one I've really looked at in the shops, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with it. Stick it in a bath puff and wash - you get a surprisingly generous lather from it! And it's grapefruity. I love citrus scents, and grapefruit anything is always a huge hit in this house. Wouldn't buy this too regularly, but definitely a good one for waking you up in the morning.

This stuff gives you hope that there may be a summer but if not this stuff is not going to let you down. It has a goregous summer fruity smell thatmakes waking up in the morning worthwhile even if the sun is not shining in the sky.

This one smells sooo fabby wowish!! It foams well and makes you smell SO gorgeous!! And it makes your hair smell luffly too, but can make it a bit dry, so it's better to use it as a treat or in conjunction with other products :) Should probably smell it before purchase - a friend bought this also without smelling it first and despised it when it was out of the bottle and she was using it :( But I personally love it so yay!!

Im not really a hippy but im very happy about this shower gel. Extroadinarily cleansing on the body and works strangely well on the hair too (and mines looong!). I don't find the smell strong at all, but if you're not a lemon fan in the first place you probably won't like it. Its perfect for gym/holidays etc as it doubles up hair and body so well. xx

This has to be my favourite Lush shower gel! It's has an incredibe real-grapefruit smell to it that makes your nose-hairs tingle! Bubbles up all over and smells fab if you use it in your hair. If you don't like strong citrussy smells, this probably isn't the shower gel for you... however, I do, and I love it!!

Despite the fact I don't wear garishly coloured clothing, have flowers in my hair or drive a van with "PEACE" or "FLOWER POWER" written along the side, I really enjoyed this product! It smells fantastic - sort of zesty and fresh and justa little creates a LOT of bubbles! the only negative is that the smell didn't stay on me for very long which was dissapointing considering how luscious it's sent is!! Some how, after i have used 'Happy Hippy' in my hair I feel alot more central and balanced. It really works for centralizing my aura and as a added bonus it smells fantastic !!!

Happy hippy is pure heaven! It's one of my top three lush products (along with big and honey bee) it smells gorgous, it feels gorgeous it is gorgeous! It's got aheavenly grapefruit aroma and leaves me smelling and feeling fresh all day.It's also very good value and I'd reccomend it to anyone, worthy of 5 stars!!!

This is another of my favourites, Happy Hippy for a happy hippy. It's just what I need at 05.30 in the morning before an early shift. It's invigorating and wakes me up ready to face the day. I used to use Slammer but sadly no longer available (please go to Retro Lush and register to buy Slammer, only 36 more orders needed) but this is a good substitute.

The first Lush product I ever used, and also one of my favourites! It smells great and the scent stays on you all day. I think this one is great for guys as well as girls as the smell is definitely unisex. It also makes your skin feel very soft and clean. The citrus smell really wakes you up so this is great to use for that early morning shower. Overall this is a winner!
