Imagine washing in a nice light foam that is reminscent of Lime flavoured Wine Gums and this is what you get. The smell is light, sweet and instantly invigourating. The scent really does SLAM you when the water hits it. Makes me think of breezy summer days and cocktails.

Well i can only describle my first sniff. My initial reaction was that it smelt of petrol. Seriously. Then I got a few orangey hints. Not citrussy really. Go for Back For Breakfast instead

Does it get any better than this?! I can't believe it took me so long to give this one a try. I've used a number of lemon and other fruity shower gels over time, but this is the first lime one I've seen. Lush nails the tart scent of freshly squeezed limes perfectly, and it really does wake me up in the morning. Lathers well too. Nicely done Lush, I'll definitely be repurchasing!

smells like sweets (not in a nice way like snow fairy) - kind of like jelly babies, not what i was expecting at all. That said, my husband absolutley loves it.

I have just showered with this after receiving it in my mail order yesterday. I have to say that it is the best thing I have ever smelled in my life! The whole upstairs of my house smells like lime sweeties and it woke me up brilliantly. The texture is almost like a jelly, which is easier to use than some of the more liquid shower gels (although it was hard to squeeze some out of the 100g bottle). The scent hasn't lingered on my skin but I can still smell it in my hair. I really don't see how anyone could fail to fall in love with this!

Smells like Wine Gums, and it's quite different to Happy Hippy. Smells lovely in the bottle, good consistency and lather, but I excepted more of a 'slap in the face' sort of sharpness, and didn't get it. Still felt pretty sleepy, lol. Happy Hippy wakes me up, so I think this is nice, but not my favourite.

I've never used this before but got it in an internet order and love it!!!! The man in my life swears by retro lush, and believe me, it's not often he's right about something, ha ha! The smell of this is divine!rnAll you need to do is bring back ole blue skies and I'll be ecstatic!!!!

This product is wrongly listed as vegan on the product selection area. It is not vegan as it contains honey. Quite a lot of the retro products are wrong on the website in terms of what's in them and who they are suitable for. The quantitative ingredient information seems to be right so its best to check that before buying anything!!

OH MY GOD! arrived today, I had never tried it before, and I'm so glad I bought it. IT'S WOUNDERFULL! I can't belive I went this long without ever trying it. It's deffinatley in my top 10 Lush products now, sorry sonic death mokey, you've been bumped down.

Thanx again LUSH, this stuff is truly amazing. It not only wakes you up, but can also relax you AND leaves your skin fresh, clean and moisturised. It smells delicious and is also great for shaving! I just used a small amount on a shower scrunchie every day and this bottle lasted me about 10 months. A worthy investment. The only problem is that i'm completely torn...do I buy this again or try something new?!

I love, love LOVE Slammer! I first fell in love way back in 2004 while working for Lush and was really sad when it was discontinued. I bought as much as I could before it sold out and I ran out eventually. I have a couple of bottles left with the dregs but now I can get as much as I want! Yay!!!!!

Slammer is the most gorgeous shower gel. I'm so thrilled I ordered it, nothing has ever woken me up in the morning quite like this and it smells so sharp,zingy andfresh too! I don't actually have a shower but I use it like bubble bath and it works just as well (a little in the water makes a good foam). This one should NEVER have been discontinued .... this one is genius.

but we can't put our fingers on which ones we've narrowed it down to wine gums or barley sugar. Either way it is lovely and livens you up just smelling it never mind wearing it. Love it either this or red rooster will wake me up when i'm tired

I didn't order this online because I thought it sounded too similar to happy hippy (which I love but don't need two of the same thing). But whenthey arrived for a retro weekend in Dublin I feel in love with it :D My new favourite shower gel at the moment :) On the down side my sister keeps using it too, so will probably have to order more online in the near future :P

I'm usually a bit sceptical about claims that a product is going to invigorate you first thing in the morning... But this certainly did!My only regret is that I neverdiscovered it the first time around - it would have made life a lot easier!

This is the best Lush shower gel EVER!!!One sniff and i knew i was in love. This is so citrussy and fruity, but without being too sharp. Slammer is a must have for the summer, i find myself lathering it up in my scrunchie, rinsing off and then squirting some more into the scrunchie to have another go all over again, it is that nice. Thankyou so much Lush for bringing this one back, i can't imagine summer without it now!

I absolutely adore Slammer, it has the most wide awake-zingy-fresh fragrance ever and just leaves you feeling so revitalised and clean (obviously), I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to wash with a true citrus scent and not the usual synthetic nonsense!I just wishyou guyswould bring back the Slammer bath bomb too.

Slammer is great! Absolutely not what I expected it to smell like. I don't really like citrus or sweet scents but this one has just the perfect combination of those two and the seawater makes it smell so refreshing. The lather is amazing and it's just an overall great showergel, especially for summer. Don't be afraid to order it!

I'm so glad this is back. It smells like margueritas and is the only thing that gives me clear skin all over! I think it's the seawater.
