Bamboo Soap
What do you call a long, bright green soap that looks like a fresh, thick, bamboo stem and is made with a decoction of fresh bamboo shoots? After many false starts, we decided that the literal description was the winner. It was developed by Noriko as a soap to be used by the whole family. It smells of fresh forests because we perfume it with skin-toning cedar leaf oil, a hint of mimosa and cassie blossom, like a day out walking in tropical woodlands. The bamboo shoots add a little extra textured scrubbing power, ideal for getting mud off kneecaps and grubby little handy-pandies. It'll get the kids clean, too. Kidding! Don't feed it to giant pandas, they won't like it.

What a lovely soap. Probably one of the best ones lush does and why it isn't in the main section I will never understand!rnLathers up with a sponge into gorgeous fluffy bubbles and leaves you feeling fresh. If you want a fresh and clean smelling soap try it. Its not disimilar to the new grass shower gel but more 'muted' and not heady like tramp: delicate, sweet and fresh instead, and perfect for a morning shower in the spring or summer. Just wish the smell lasted longer on my skin!
This was brill, just want it to be sold in shops again and you dont have to wait for it to arrive on order!
ahhhhh. reminds me of my carefree youth, swinging on the bamboo among the pandas in my hometown China. pure delicate heaven. a drop of sunshine. a light in my dark days. and as i wave goodbye to my life i use this soap to wash away the past. goodbye china, hello lush filled heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love this stuff! I wish there were more things that smelled like this, of earthy fresh bamboo. Like standing in the middle of a grove of it. Love it!
Only slightly disappointed that it didnt look like the bamboo shoot in the picture but I soon got over it when I used it in the shower that evening. Not only did it smell fresh, green and intoxicating but it made my skin feel wonderfully soft.....just ask my boyfriend. Will definitely buy some more. XX
Basically, I am writing this review because I love Bamboo - loved it when it was first around and love it now. It is not a "green" scent, but it smells of sweet Bamboo, quite exotic and very beautiful.If you want a Tramp-style green scent, this is not for you. This is the most lovely sweet scent of Bamboo.
I really like green scents, like Tramp and Greenwash, but this one... bah!
bleugh.i thought this smelled really antisepticky.i suspect that if you like the greenwash type scent - you'll love this.
