It takes a while to work out how damp your skin needs to be. You'll waste a bit as it simply dissolves. But it is a good scrub once you get the hang of it. Leaves you very soft, without being too scratchy.

I am never without this in my house, I absolutley love how it feels and smells. Its so refreshing for early mornings esspecially and I can't stop smelling my arms after a shower !rnCan't wait for it to be in a tub tub tub !

This really surprised me as I didn't know what it was meant to smell of. So when I smelt Sakura/17 cherry tree lane I was quite confused seeing as it is blue! I was expecting something minty or herbal I think. The bottle wasn't thought through very well as you have to remove the whole lid and squeeze the stiff bottle pretty hard to get any out. Maybe it should be in a squeezy bottle or a tub. But all in all makes skin very soft and shiny. The salt stings any cuts though so be careful!

This is okay.. nice smell not very strong though. Quite scrubby which is good. Would be nice if there was a shower gel of this smell which was non-scrubby.

I love the scent of sakura bath bomb but rub rub rub one smells a bit more than washing powder to me. the exfoliation was niceand i was suprised how soft my skin was left. however not my favorite and i will not buy it again because i dont like the scent to much

I bought this for the first time today, and couldn't wait to try it! Rub Rub Rub is amazing, makes my skin feel really clean and the salt doesn't dry out my skin like most exfoliators do! Works really well after shaving your legs aswell! Thumbs up lush!

This is amazing! Such a beautiful smell, think it's the mimosa I can smell - reminds me of holidays to the south of France. Nice light scrub which leaves your skin really soft. Got a sample pot, so no problem getting it out and the sales lady told me they are probably changing the packaging for it. Will definitely buy a large bottle/tub of this but it will mean that I may never stop sniffing my arm from then on, it's rather addictive!

Very effective, and was nice to use - even as a shampoo. My skin felt really soft afterwards. However, not something that I would use again, as I found the scent somewhat off putting, hence the 3* rating. Sorry Lush - not one of my favourites. :-(

Purely subjectively- I don't like the scent. I was hoping it would remind me of ocean salt, and it doesn't. It's very plasticky, hard for me to describe- strong, but a weird combination of cloyingly floral and almost ozoney. I love the scrubby salt crystals, and this stuff does get my skin nice and soft, but because I dislike the scent it's a no-go for me. Sniff before buying if you can!

Fab as a shower gel... even better as a hand scrub. Squirt a bit onto your dry hands, rub a bit with a washing hands motion, and then rinse off. When coupled with smitten my hands feel unreal! I do the same thing for tougher skin too.. rubbing it gently into dry skin maximises the exfoliation, and its not too harsh for my skin.

Like the product - smells lovely - but it really doesn't come out of the bottle easily at all. Even with the lide removed, it's a challenge. Nice scrubby effect though.

Smells great, cleans and softens the skin, makes you feel smooth and silky without a drying effect, however it is very hard to get out of the bottle, for anyone who has this issue i reccomend removing the lid and putting an empty black pot ontop instead-it stops the product drying out, stops bugs getting in makes it so0o0o0 much easier to use.

mmm thisstuff smells so good! It exfoliates my skin amazingly and it leaves me feeling really clean!!

I got the Jolly Holly Days gift box for spending £20, and RubRubRub came with it. It is a bit annoying to get out of the bottle (much easier without the lid) but it smells lovely and gets rid of any dead skin :) I have yet to try it as a shampoo!

oooh this is so amazing, it smells gorgeous! my boyfriend loves it, dissolves when its in the water and doesn't clog the bath, makes me skin so soft, not drying. people whos plugs got clogged, maybe you have hard water in your area?

An oddly pleasing smell that reminds me of manly men, this exfoliating scrub seemed to work really well on my boyfriend's skin, leaving it feeling soft and refreshed. I did not try the product myself, as exfoliating products usually flare up my eczema, but my boyfriend gives it very good reviews, and has chosen to give it four stars.

I LOVE rub rub rub rnit is amazing and i would recomend it to anyone with those red dots on their skin. i used to to have them really bad, but tahnk to rub rub rub they have almost gone and the smell really grows on you. At first i didnt like, as i dont really like lemon but know i love the smell and even like lemon more.rnA MUST HAVE

This shower gel is the best EVER!! The mimosa smell is exquisite and it scrubs well leaving my skin smooth and soft! I buy the 500g everytime I go to LUSH!! Amazing

This product is lovely. The scent is delicate and clean. Plus, it isn't too girly and is the only Lush product my boyfriend will use! Again losing a star because you have to take the lid off to use it but overall very nice.

I found this very refreshing, more citrus than floral. The salt in mine was a bit coarse and felt a bit scratchy. Still it made my skin very soft afterwards.

I am a Flying Fox fan,but sometimes it smells a bit too flowery and soft to mee, so once i just combined it with this one, and it smelled soooo nice. I agree it makes you feel extra clean after sports!

I do a martial art and if I've done a weekend course or just during the summer you can feel really disgusting after training - all sweaty and grimy and a regular shower gel doesn't always do the trick. This though, has been brilliant - leaves you feeling properly clean and the smell is refreshing and soothing at the same time. Definitely recommend it if you do sports for that perfect after training pick-me-up.

I so wanted to like this one! However it all clogged up straight away and no matter what I did, hardly anything came out... Smelt nice though.

Smells lovely, scrubs as it's meant to and once the salt has dissolved, it lathers up into a beautifully scented moisturising foam - very clever, does a wonderful job, just hell to get out of the bottle without taking the whole lid off, loses a star for that little problem - sorry. Don't use too much or it takes a while to wash off - not brave enough to use it in my hair - knowing me i'll end up with lumps of it round the back of my hair!!! :o)

Another one that needs a packaging remodel (so I think!). Gorgeous smell, beautiful on the skin, but no matter how hard you try, all the soapy gel bit pours out first, and you are left with a bottle full of salt. Put it in a pot please Lush! Then we can grab big handfuls of it and actually use it. (Didn't anyone try this out before it went on sale?!)

Recieved in a gift set and just finished using it. Loved the feel of my skin after using it but way too hard to get out of the bottle. Scent is ok, doesn't really linger though. Not a fave product.

I think Rub Rub Rub is absolutely lovely. It has a light, refreshing scent - lemony and salty with a touch of floral jasmine. I've had no trouble getting it out of the bottle; all it needs is a quick shake and a good squeeze to get it out. It works well as a shampoo as well, leaving my thick, dry and unruly hair feeling squeaky clean without being stripped of moisture. I will definitely be buying this again.

Love this! its packed with salt so exfoliates your skin so well! and because its salt it dissolves which dosent leave horrible grainy bits on your skin and in the bath like other exfoliators!rnGreat for after the gym too makes me feel hydrated and lovelyrnrnThe only bad think i can think of is some times salt builds up in the cap which makes it hard to squeeze out, but i wouldn't not buy it just for that reason!

Hmm, I am sort of regretting getting the 500ml bottle of this. It is nicely scrubby but is a pain in the bum having to take the top of the bottle each time as this is too thick to squirt out. I also used a bit in my blonde hair (as is suggested you can do) and was left with a nice blue blob for about a week presumably from the colouring used! Not recommended! I'll stick to my shower scrubs and scrubby body butters from now on!

I love this shower gel!My favourite bath ballistics have been between Honey Bee and Sakura and I find it much easier to shower so I immeadiately fell in love with this. I know this may sound a bit of weird mixture but I use with Buffy. The mixture makes my skin feel like plastic for 5 minutes but then it turns uber-soft!

This is the best shower gel I've tried, its my favourite fragrance Sukura, its a scrub but its not to harsh, the only problem I have is I have to hide it or the rest of the family use it!!!

I cannot praise this fabulous scrub enough! The salty scrubby bits exfoliate a treat, and melt away into a very cleansing gel texture that leaves my skin feeling really smooth, fresh and moisturised. No need for extra soap or shower gel, no need for moisturiser afterwards - this one does the lot. I'm going back for a bigger bottle soon!

I love this shower scrub! Its smells amazing, it reminds me of sakura and 17 cherry tree lane soap but its a bit more of a sexy smell like perfume its stunning. You have to try it at least once.

Bought this after the lovely ladies in the Cardiff store told me it would complement my all time favourite Sakura fragrance, and exfoliate at the same time...rnrnI have to say it is FANTASTIC! Leaves skin beautifully soft, with a light Sakura-esque smell... Well worth a try if you are on the fence!

Words cannot describe how much I love this product! the texture is exfoliating at first, which then melts into a very soft almost oily gel that leaves the most gorgeous scent of blissful sakura on your skin. Absolutely amazing.

One of my all time favorites! Smells a lot like Sakura, so it's like Sakura and Ocean Salt had a love child. I could sniff this all day.

After getting my husband to try some of the Ocean Salt Face Scrub he moved on to this one , really fresh smelling and leaves the skin nice and soft. He also recommended the Cosmetic Lad Moisturiser and Razorantium Shaving Cream which he swears by. Soon he will have as many Lush products as i have ( probably not ) xx

Smells lovely & leaves my skin sooo soft ^^ My two complaints are that you have to take the lid off otherwise you get left with a bottle full of salt (kinda like sucking all the flavouring out of a slush puppie!)rnAlso it stings my legs a lot for about two days after I shave them- not so good.rnOther than that I love it =)

Just started using this and it's been great for exfoliating my skin whilst also smelling lovely and fresh to wake me up in the morning!

As a bloke I admit I don't know much about all this "exfoliate" mullarky but what I do know is Rub Rub Rub smells great, makes my skin feel good and fresh and seems to last a very long time. Apply it with one of those 'puff' things and it lasts for ages.

I like the idea of this being a shower scrub and gel in one, because it cleans as well as exfoliates the skin. It left me very soft and smelling lovely, on both my skin and hair. The only downside is how extremely difficult it is to get out of the bottle! It was near impossible without taking the lid off completely. However, for a product which softens my skin so much as well as leaving me clean and smelling lovely, I can live with that.

I wasn't quite sure about trying this, as from smelling it in the bottle, it didn't seem anything special. But! I expected it to dry out my skin slightly, with having the sea salt as an exfoliator, but no way! If anything, it was so moisturising I found it a little difficult to wash off. This is excellent as a shampoo: the salt really gets your hair clean, and you smell lovely afterwards!

This was one of my first products from Lush.rnWhen I first used it in the shower, it feltrnamazing and the feeling after using it is so nice.rnI really recommend this for people who are stressed and who need a nice relaxing shower or bath. This product is nostalgia in a bottle. I am sent back to the caravan of mychildhood hols by the sea, it even rains. Only difference is that this nostalgia comes without the wrinkly skin, dry elbows and leaves the scent of the ocean. Wnat to be a littl'un again then 'Rub, Rub, Rub!'

every review i've read says this shower gel smells gorgeous but totally disagree i do love the colour of it though and makes my skin feel soft and refreshes.

I normally avoid any products that are bright blue but thought i'd give this one a go - i'm glad i did, it's absolutely fantastic! Don't let the lurid blue appearance fool you, it smells divine and leaves your skin lovely and smooth. I have quite dry sensitive skin but this product makes me smell fresh and feel lovely and soft all over. Hard to get out of the squirty lid, but don't let that put you off, it's well worth the extra muscle power!!

I love this! I notice people struggling to get the salt out the bottom if its been standing 2 long. I jus put the bottle under the hot tap, or leave it standing in a jug of hot water whilst running my bath, take it out give it a good shake and your away! I use it 2 exfoliate my arms, leaves them lovely and smooth with a lovely smell! 5/5 lush!

i love the scent its so yummy and also the sea salt was brilliant i love it and also the price i think was really good for the amount you get in the bottle the only problem was getting it out of the bottle

This has a yummy scent, but it's too hard to get out of the bottle! I only got the smallest size to try it, and only used half of it because I dont want to spend 15 minutes wrestling with it every time! All the salt sinks to the bottom in a big clump, which no amount of shaking will shift! I've read others suggest putting it in the black tubs, and I'd be more likley to buy it again in that container. Otherwise, sadly, this will be one of the very few Lush products on my dont buy again list.

I love this product! my favorite lush smell- fresh, soft, sweet, zingy, orangy, delicious! Intitially wasnt keen on the blue colour but somehow it fits the smell (I like the paler varieties, some bottles iv seen are SO blue)Anyway- nicely scrubbing but not a very rough exfoliator because the salt dissolves (which I happen to like) so dont buy necessarily for the exfoliation. My skin feels so clean and soft after and I smell good all day, just a subtle hint of the smell lingers on my skin. GREAT!

I love this. Smells is fresh and clean. Its hard to get out of the bottle so unscrew the lid. When I purchased this I had been looking for a decent salt scub, Rub Rub Rub was just what I was looking for. I use it before going in the bath or shower as a scrub then ever wash it off in the shower or soaking in the bath letting the salt disolve. My skin is sensitive so I use it a few times a week, my skin is lovely soft now :)

Not as exfoliating as i would of liked, but the flipside is the amount of lather you get instead. Hard to get out of the bottle as it tends to clog up but a nice anti-bacterial shower gel with a typically popular scent.

I've fallen in love with this product! I adore the smell of this, it lingers lovely on my skin, and best of all it leaves my skin feeling sooooo smooth. rnThe only complaint I have about it, is as it's so thick with the salt, it's kind of hard to squeeze out of the little hole in the top of the bottle. But because I love the smell so much, I can live with that :)

I love the smell of this and I don't think it's particularly girly; my partner uses it too. I find that using it with my flannel helps it to lather up and I don't need much. The scent hangs around on skin which is great for me and him!rnBut the salt settles at the bottom of the bottle so you have to shake it to get the liquid and salt to mix up. This is the only niggle. Put it in a tub (like Big shampoo) and I would have no niggles at all.

A tub as an earlier review stated would be a great idea for packaging this product, because even thought I love the smell, I am put off using it in the morning as it is a bit of a fight to get it out of the bottle. I tend to used this if I have a shower in the evening and want to relax as it has a lovely relaxing effect, the scent also stays on your skin for ages.

I had a bit of trouble with this product as my skin goes very dry and sore when using anything with sea salt. But I love the product itself; the smell, feel and deep clean it gives you, My skin just dries too much afterwards. But my husband says he "loves ehht!" He says the fragrance is fantastic, and the texture leaves his skin feeling refreshed. It's great to use in the morning to wake you up! Admittedly, it is hard to get out the bottle and doesn't lather much. But still a great Lush product!

Might actually be the best thing in the world ever, I use it with Sakura bath bomb and solid perfume (tah for making it Lush, it's my favourite scent!) and then all day I smell of Sakura loveliness. I love the fact that it is a shower gel and a salt scrub in one, all of my family steal it and we go through a lot of the stuff. Love it x 1,000,000 and probably more!

I love 'rub rub rub'! The smell is absolutly great and i like the texture. It is a little hard to get out of the bottle, buts thats only because its quite a thick substance that doens't like coming out the bottle! I find taking the lid off helps! Will definitly be buying more as it smells wonderful..

I tried a small bottle of this when on honeymoon and wasn't impressed - smelt like diesel to me, a horrible synthetic smell. It also clogged up at the bottom of the bottle despite shaking it vigorously every time I used it making it difficult to get out. Would not buy again, and there are definitely better Lush shower gels than this.

i LOVE the smell of this stuff, its just so bloody damn hard to get out the bottle!! this would be much better in a pot i reckon, when i buy my next lot im going to put it in an old black pot so i can scoop it out :)rnrnAlso love cherrytree lane soap! BRING IT BACK!!

i loved the 17 cherry tree lane soap, so when that was discontinued i was sad...but this smells the same and more!! wow, it refreshes, cleans and softens, and still has that same gorgeous, girly smell. dont know about rub rub rub..definately yum yum yum

I bought this because it smelt like Seanik shampoo bar but when I got it in the shower it smelt almost fishy. Afterwards it smelt nice on my skin and left me soft and smooth. The salt bits are nice for a gentle scrub and it lathers quite well in a shower puff. Not sure if I'd buy it again but glad I gave it a try.

This is the best shower cleaning thing in human existence!! The smell is TO DIE FOR - ilove it!!! i really feel like im by the sea somewhere which is the best thing! and it comes with a scrub when you've finished all the liquid stuff!!

You end up only being able to get the liquid out at first and then get loads of salt at the end that's hard to get out. It's not very good value and runs out super quick. It's actually much easier and nicer to use Sea Salt facial scrub as a body scrub too than buying this seperately. It's nice though and does work just not very practical.

rnI'm not that impressed with the smell, it's nice but nothing special when compared to the amazing 'tramp'. However, saying that it did an amazing good job at giving me nice smooth skin. So much so mates started commenting on it when then brushed up against me!

im so addicted to this it smells so fresh clean,i love the salty scrubby bits in it too, leaves my skin so soft. try having lemon days and ginger beer ballistic in the bath,mix rub rub rub with lemsip butter and after mix a small amount of lemony flutter with a blob of ginger lotion! you will smell absolutly gorgeous all day long,promise.my boyfriend tried hiding my rub rub rub from me! , he loves it aswell. my next purchase will be a massive bottle of this!wicked stuff.thanks lush.x

This shower gel has the same smell as Sakura bath bomb. I think everybody loves it ^^. I've only used it for a week and will have to come into the store tomorrow to ask how to use it exactly because it's difficult to get the salt part out of the bottle. I tried shaking it but no luck there's still a lot of salt at the bottom.
