After using one of the strongest deodorants on the market to control my more than average sweating and * embarrassing to say* smell, an intense pain in my underarms that took 4 days to go away finally scared me away from the aluminium packed products. I visited Lush and chose Aromarant straight away, went home and tried it not expecting much.Oh my god was I surprised, it not only kept my sweat at bay but there was no smell! This product is amazing please try it, you will love it! Thank you lush!

I thought that it was my own problem, but after reading the comments, I realize that the same problem happens to people who use it. My armpits get red marks after using it for a week, also very dry and itching, although I like the smell and the hard working features of this products, but I really cannot stand the reaction after using it!

I got this one as a tester. I never tryed anything like this in my life. It didn't smell quite good from the beggining, but when I start sweating it smelled even worse. I don't even know why I'm giving it one star. I should be giving zero!

I like this as an alternative to nasty chemical deoderants but as it doesnt stop you sweating i only use it really in winter. Mine all dried up after a while as i didnt keep it wrapped up but if i run it under the tap it sorta lathers up so i can use it that way (not as efective but still smells good). Like the idea of using it on my feet but not tried that yet.

In my opinion this smells much nicer than Aromaco. It's quite sweet and almost vanilla-like to my nose. It's much harder in consistency than Aromaco, which is good in that it doesn't break apart although it is more difficult to apply. It's also less effective than Aromaco for me, but still pretty good.

Personally, I prefer Aromaco as it is softer to use and works more effectively. I find this bar can drag a bit even when wrapped up with clingfilm to keep it from drying out. OK, but use Aromaco if you want one that performs better all round. Nice smell.

i wasn't sure what to expect from this, but i can honestly say (as long as they continue to make this!) that i will never be using a spray antiperspirant ever again! i haven't had any problems with smell and i usually sweat a fair bit even with antiperspirant, but i hardly sweat at all with this - on a normal day i stay dry all day :) i was expecting a really lemon-y smell, but it was quite a neutral smell which smells good on the skin :) 5 stars - a must have buy me thinks! :)

I love this product, not only does it keep me fresh everyday (which I thought would be impossible) but it also, has a refreshing scent.rnI don't recommend this to anyone who doesn't like getting their fingers oily though!rn

I really love this deodorant. It smells lovely and keeps me fresh all day. I wrap mine in cling film to keep it moist and unwrap the top to use and then rewrap when I'm done! I use it with a light dusting of coconut deodorant powder to keep me dry and smelling great all day. Love it!

i love this,rni melted it down and poured it into an old deoderant stick and it works perfectly! also you dont get messy hands.rn

I like the smell but there are definitely no lemons. It also does the job on a cold day.rnBUT on a cold day it is too hard to slide on and it has bit in that scrape my armpits and i am no delicate bloom! I don't even flinch when I have an underarm wax.rnI now have a big block of this stuff and I can't use it. If it was smooth and softer it would be better.

I like this product. It sweated a bit in my bathroom, so I now keep it in my bedroom and, yes, Lush please make a container for it! rnrnAlthough I could not detect the smell of lemons, which is clearly exaggerated in the description of the product, I notice that the lack of scent is a good thing as it doesn't drown out my perfume.rnrnAlso, it prevents body odour, so it does its job! Also, it looks like it will last a long long time...

Smells gorgeous & does the job. However, really messy. Lush should make a tin for this :)

It works, it's a good deodorant. And I'm happy not not cover my poor pits in itchy antiperspirant....rnThat the smell isn't as delish as some of the other LUSH products is ok, because I just wear my karma perfume or ginger lotion : )

I've been using this for about 4 days now and love it!! It coped with gym sessions, running after kids, clothes layered cos of the cold then going into hot shops, it's brilliant. The smell isn't amazing but I do like it once it's on my skin. Brilliant buy!!

Bought this for my man but I've snuck a use or two as well! He likes it, though says it doesn't stop him smelling as well as his usual deodorant, so he's alternating between the 2 atm. I liked it myself, doesn't really stop the sweat, but I thought I smelt quite nice anyway!!

That's the best deodorant I ever tried (honestly). I sweat quite easily and all the other chemical ones I've tried in my life never worked to my satisfaction. This one here seems to kill nasty smells very effectively (and smells very refreshing itself), wonderful. It's easy to apply (best after putting top/t-shirt on to avoid any marks) and I keep it in a little tin to avoid it marking any furniture. Thanks for a great product!

This product works pretty well on a cold or moderate day but it doesn't keep up with odor on a very active or hot day. rnI also bought this for my husband and he likes the product but he constantly complains that the application is too messy.

This smells nice but I made the mistake of using it with a white top, I now have dirty brown stains on the top where it rubbed off, its a deodrant not an anti-perspirant and smelt nice but didn't stop sweat!

I was a really serous aromaco user. Tried aromacreme once and got a hideous rash so kept with aromaco which I have been using for years... until something inspired me to have a go with aromarant. I was concerned due to my previous reaction to aromacreme but so far my skin is fine. I love the scent, it works really hard and deponging and copes much better with west of Ireland dampness than aromaco does (aromaco used to get a little sticky)

I love the ease of applying LUSH's Aromarant citrus scent solid deodorant. I can put it in a Body Butter Tin and take it with me everywhere in case a re-application is necessary. The citrus aroma lifts my spirits throught the day.

I got this last week & am loving it.Works so well it can even cope with menopausal hot flushes & a rush hour journey on a hot tube.Plus it smells lovely & keeps my armpits soft.

Bought this for my boyfriend a month ago (yes the block has lasted that long), he loves it! Only applies it (very liberally) in the morning and after 10 hours working in a hot and sticky IT lab he still comes home smelling of it. He does, however, still comes home with wet patches under his arms but he no longer needs to worry if he smells of BO as he smells fab all day. I personally think the smell is more of a masculine one, but that could just be me.

This product is amazing. I have sensitive skin so the strong antipersperants blister my armpits and weaker ones don't stop me swaeting. For a long time i had to wear black tops to hide sweat patches. Then I tried MR T powder which was too messy to use when i'm in a rush to get to work in the mornings. Then I switched to this bar and it is perfect- it lasts a long time, is convenient and easy to use with no messing around, lasts a really long time and good value for money.

I'm on my feet all day at work and can tend to build up a bit of a sweat. I was a bit dubious that this would work for me but i decided to give it a try because my skin had become fairly inflamed by "everyday" deodrants. Amazingly the first day i wore this i had a very, very busy day. Once 6o'lock came i still smelt lovely and fresh. This is superb.

I bought aromarant also for my feet because I have the foot sweat problem and I thought it made it a bit better but not outstandingly.Now they just smelt of sweat and lemon. I was a bit worried on how to apply it at first but i looked for the smoothest side on my peice and eventually always used that side. I haven't had any problems and it didn't burn my skin . :)

I suggest you ask for a sample and try it first before buying a whole block. This works well as a deodorant but burned my armpits.

This is, without question, the best deodorant I have ever used. It works far better than any anti-perspirant I've come across, it completely banishes body odour, and it doesn't have any dangerous chemicals. The smell is a little unusual at first, but now I love it and would never choose to smell of horrible chemical deodorants again. Best deodorant ever!

I only bought this yesterday but it seems to be excellent! I absolutley love the smell though, i put some on my boyfriend and slept in his armpit haha! After going for a jog my armpits were surprisingly dry!

I was a chronic sweater. I tried everything to stop the armpits on my t-shirts from being soggy, from lynx to sure to every canned deodorant under the sun. I then started using this little fella and its an absolute miracle. I can go about all day, even if I am somewhere warm and sticky, and come home in the evening and my t-shirt is bone dry. This product has really helped me out in terms of my confidence and self-esteem.

A very good idea, though a slight let down for me. The smell itself, is quite funky and fine. The trouble I have is that, as it doesn't come with any outer container, it's quite messy and gets everywhere. To easily improve it, a 100% recycled holder for the deodorant with a cap on it would be brilliant.

Took this to greece with me and was not sure what to expect but what i found was i could use this chill by the pool or do whatever during the day and party all night with not a sweaty pit or awful bo smell in sight!! it did make my armpits slightly sensitive for a couple of days but perservere and that goes so all in all a really good deordourant

I am allergic to this - it made my armpits swell, go all red and itch like crazy. And I'm hardly allergic to anything. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all. :(

Having tried Aromaco and Aromacreme, I wanted to try the so-called "lemon bar," just for some variation. The bar smelled kind of woodsy and natural. After only about half an hour of having it on, it couldn't handle my sweat. I started smelling like a bad French cheese. Maybe this is more of a hippe deo. I will try it on my feet though to see if it works better.

I bought this along with T'eo deodorant bar, I was worried that neither would work but I could never go back to normal deodorant now. They do they trick and smell gorge. I have also purchased Aromaco which also does the job, but this one is y far my fav smell, I sit sniffing my pits for ages afetr putting it on. Ha ha!

it smells lemony and sort of likesherbet lemons, or maybe thats just me. really good anti-perspirant, and is an all round body care staple!

I bought this as a presentfor my husband after he was having difficulty finding a deodrant that was cruelty free and not in a can. We did find one but then realised it contained palm oil which was also a no go area. Anyway, he can be quite sweaty sometimes but this is brilliant and he says it works better than any others he has tried. He has long days at work and only needs to apply it once in the morning and it keeps him fresh all day. It lasts for ages so is good value for money. He keeps it in grease proof paper to stop it drying out. Great stuff and it solved his deodrant problems!

I will admit this one took some getting used to as I am used to horrible spray cans, but once I knew how much I needed to use it was well nice. Sometimes I sweated more some days so I just reapplied, sometimes I didn't need to. If you're prepared for a little bit of sweat which face it, you can wipe off with a tissue and reapply, then this one could be for you. It's the end of the day and I just smelled *oo-er* and I can smell a tiny little smell but I didn't reapply today which I normally do with any deoderant, so there you go!

I found this works better than traditional spray can deodrants, and lasts waaaaaaay longer. A can usually lasts me about 2...maybes 3 weeks....a good chunk of this stuff has last be 2 and a half months! The smell is alright, would have been nice if it had been a little stronger.

I LOVED the smell of this, I bought lump for my b/f and have been using it myself as I really enjoy the mild (unusual for Lush) spicy fragrance. However it made the paint peel on the wooden shelves where it had been sitting, which was definately not a desirable effect. This can be remedied by putting it on a soap dish but I would have liked if it hadn't happened in the first place, or if it had been labelled as potentially damaging to furniture, or had come with some minimal packaging. Lush is a brand I really, really want to love as I like the idea of all the stuff being cruelty free etc and find the idea of lots of their products fun and original, however for some reason or another the ones I have tried seem to fall short of my expectations and disappoint me.

I would describe myself as a persistent sweater. I've never found a deodorant that'll see me through a day. This not only kept me dry through a very stressful day at uni but a long hard gym session afterwards. Amazing. Really. I'll never use anything else.

My husband sweats a lot and suffers from sensitive skin, since using this deodarant he doesn't sweat and always smells fresh. Would highly recommend it.

Well, I ordered this online, so couldn't smell it before purchasing and I was very disappointed when it arrived in the post - didn't smell of lemons, in fact, smelt of nothing at all. I've been using it everyday for a week and all I smell of is my own B.O. This deoderant does nothing! Doesn't absorb odours and doesn't give me a lovely scent to waft around. A waste of £3.40 if you ask me.

This is my deoderant for days when I know I'll be sweating a lot (going to gigs/clubs or whatever) because it lasts like nothing else on earth, with my normal anti-perspirant topping up before heading out was normal, but not with this.I'm not a particularly sweaty person, so obviously others may have other results but this is super stuff.

It doesn't contain aluminium, it doesn't have a strong nauseating smell and works pretty good.In very warm days when I have to use the bike and sweat a lot I complement it with the MRT deodorant powder.It's the ideal deo for people that are sensible to aluminium and doesn't like parfum, because it almost doesn't smell

this wasnt as good on my under arms as i thought it'd be. after a few hours of not doing very much, i began to smell a bit.on feet however, its wonderful, especially good if your a stiletto wearer. put it on, keep your feet up and when it dries slip into your sexiest shoes. your feet stay dry, smell free and you dont slip down the shoes making your toes sore.on the armpit front i give it a 1.the rating is for feet.
