I've used this for almost a year, but haven't noticed a change in my hair colour (I'm a medium-blonde). It's a super shampoo though and lasts ages. Shame it doesn't come as a shampoo bar for the tin though as it's hard to transport! rnrnWould recommend putting the last bits as it crumbles away into a bottle and adding a splash of water to make it last longer!

I started to use this about three or four weeks ago and today somone commented that my hair was looking a lot blonder. It has been sunnier lately but I think The Blonde has something to do with it too!

Got a slice of this a couple of weeks ago, very nice compared to other brands. Doesn't make my scalp itch, no greasy hair after a day of not washing, very shiny, brighter, naturally blonde hair. (I was thinking of dying it blonder but definitely not anymore!) Took a week to make it blonder but it does work. plus, smells so good, lathers up a treat and generally a awesome shampoo. Ta Lush!

this solid shampoo saved my hair! literally. about two years ago, I had been using regular shampoos - Pantene, L'Oreal..etc. And two years ago my hair was falling out in clumps. I had dandruff, my normally honey color hair turned mousy brown and was lifeless. The Blonde shampoo not only brought my normal color back, it eliminated my dandruff problem! who would've thunk it :) now my hair is thick and shiny and smells of lovely chamomile. Thank you Lush! x

At first i was a bit confused how to use it but you just rub it against your hair and it comes of really easily. it made my hair so soft i didn't need to put conditioner on and it lasts a really long time

I have naturally blonde hair that goes really mousy in the winter (due to lack of sun that bleaches my hair). I put loads on and left it for five mins. This gave me amazing highlights and after regular use my hair was lighter than it ever gets (even in summer). One of my favourite haircare products EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!! My hair was really dull; I was ill for a very long time last summer so my blonde hair had had no sunshine for ages!!!! Thought I'd use this to kick start regaining my light blonde shade, and I'm going to keep using it! Really easy to use, smells divine and my hair looks loads lighter after 5 washes... rnrnTIP: cut it into 1cm slices and stick in in a shampoo tin, I've only used half of my first slice, and I have long, thick hair, so it lasts for ages!

again 4 stars just like Marilyn the smell is a turn off but just after 2 washes my hair is soooo shiny, soft, lighter and less fizz. love this solid shampoo

This is the first solid shampoo I have tried and I was disappointed. Found it hard to get a lather initially and felt like it wasn't washing my hair very well. Left my hair feeling squeaky and dry and my scalp slightly itchy. After drying my hair feels dry and also like it has a residue on it still. I thought I would persevere for a week to see if it improved but I'm afraid it didn't! On a good note after using for a week my hair does seem blonder than before.

I used this when I bleached my hair blonde (never again!!), and it was great at subtly lightening up the colour and leaving it soft. I found it very hard to comb through my hair when it was wet - partly because the shampoo leaves it feeling a bit funny (which goes away as it dries), but also because of the damage that I'd done by processing it. Would recommend it to brighten up your blonde, but treat your hair gently while its drying with this one.

I REALLY wasn't sure about the whole solid shampoo thing... BUT the blonde is officially a god send!! Naturally blonde, with some feint highlights and my hair has never looked in better condition. I have fine hair that gets greasy easily - this is perfect. It recommends going around the hair three times - DONT if you have hair like mine, it only takes once (meaning the bar lasts longer) I chopped the bar up into toblerone sized chunks and they last weeks!!! Thanks Lush!!!

This shampoo has a nice smell and lasts forever, but I am afraid it did no good to my dark blonde hair. Once dried my hair felt sticky and looked dull, specially at the roots. I think it might be too concentrated and made my normal hair greasy. I am trying to make the best out of it by leaving it as little as possible and washing up with Daddy-O, this has worked so far...

This is brilliant! I'm a brunette but had blonde highlights in my hair ages ago & they were fading. I've tried pretty much every solid shampoo and was about to give up but thought I'd try this anyway. It makes my hair very soft. I've only used it twice but my hair looks sunkissed. I use it with Retread & my hair looks amazing! (I have dry/frizzy, thick hair)

Don't know about the colour change as I'm a naturally blonde so perhaps my hair can't go any blonder than that - hehe! Got the Jungle conditioner as well. YUM!!

Quite impressed with this. Easy to use just break off a bit before you shower, wet hair and piece of bar and rub over your head and down through your hair. Smells mostly of the chamomile which can be a little overpowering, also the lemon dries out the hair a bit so you must use conditioner afterwards. jungle is a good combination as it mixes with but also neutralises the herbal scent. It really did perk up my highlights, not as much as Marilyn does but great for a quick fix.

Love this shampoo! I took it travelling in Australia and now whenever I use it the smell takes me straight back. Lasts ages and leaves my hair shiney, soft and deffinately blonder!

I really do like this bar .. the results are not dramatic but quite surprising .. hair is all over lighter and i have definate blonder streaks running through after only a short time using it (hair naturally multititone browny caramel blondeish)!! presently im impressed and looking forward to the future .. however i find im not a fan of the scent and the squeaky feeling it gives my hair.. also the bits are hard to get out ... but its worth it for the colour change :))))!!!!

I have natuarally blonde hair but as the years pass it's getting darker - until now. I've been using this shamppo for a couple of months now and my hair it's getting brigher and shinier. What's more, with regular shampoos I would end up with a plug hole full of hair (gross, I know) and since I've been using this my hair is much, much stronger.

LOVE LOVE LOOOOVEE THIS LUSH! Lightens my hair beautifully and rapidly - amazing. Although, I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and the bar is causing a lot of hair loss after use, my hair is seriously damaged but I love the effect but am now convinced dying would do less harm! I'm a diehard fan aside from my hair loss caused by it, so please help lush! Pleeeeaassee consider a liquid or moisturising form of the blonde, it would make my hair oh-so happy! xx

This shampoo is fantastic. I have been a long time bleacher of my hair, but I am considering stopping it and just using this shampoo (and maybe the marilyn hair treatment). i can tell that it lightens my hair where the roots come through, and its got to be better than covering it with peroxide and ammonia!

The smell to this shampoo is really strong and lasts for ages, even when I use conditioner afterwards. As soon as I used it my hair felt quite soft, but I haven't noticed it getting lighter yet....

I brought this bar a couple of months ago as the winter weather was making my hair look a horrible colour, and ever since then it has been making my hair go lighter and lighter, it did make my hair go very dry at first though, and everyone compliments me on the smell and look of my hair.

i first bought this bar over a year ago (not for myself i have brown hair) for my daughter who will be 3 this june.. have not stopped using it ever since... it has turned her light brown colour into a a warm honey with sunkissed streaks despite never having seen the beach.. leaves her hair shiny bouncy and soft..i have received many compliments on the colour.. other parents hairdressers .. the key to this one is patience.. use it constantly and it will gradually turn lighter and lighter..

I have really dark blonde hair and I requested this shampoo bar for Christmas- unfortunatly, it hasn't made any difference to my hair colour. I have to say though, this is my first solid shampoo bar and it lasted me from Christmas day to late January! :-) Lots of bubbles too

Worked really well on my natural golden blonde hair, people keep asking me if i've had highlights! Plus it seems to have cured my itchy scalp and my hair is so soft and shiny. I was a bit worried at first that it would be a nightmare to use but it goes all frothy and lovely :D

I like this one because it helped me to solve my scalp problems. I used to have irritated skin but now that I use the Blonde it got much healtier and is no more itchy. And it also brightens up my hair :) Thank you Lush :)

I love this shampoo so much. before i used it my natural blonde hair had started do dull and change colour, after about 7 washes my hair has brightened and has loads of shine. Is amazing :D I use it with curly wurly becuase it did dry out my curls a bit but I think this is a wonder product, all my friends commented on my hair XD thanks lush : )

I adore the smell of this, very fresh yet comforting. The texture is fab too - when fresh i liken it to gentil lentil. Its certainly making my hair reflect more light which is probably down to the lemon oil. Upon perseverance im sure my hair will look visibly lighter too. For anything other than greasy hair this might be quite stripping so use a stronger conditioner if your hair has a tendency towards normality.

I have quite long, fine hair so pumping it with oil is never a good idea. I have been using the blonde for at least 6 months (the bar lasts for ages, I wash my hair 1-2 times a week) and it has made my hair visibly shinier, but I have to use is sparsely from ear level downwards because it makes my hair too greasy! I use jumping juniper on my roots which tends to ward off the grease until the next wash. Smells nice though! :)

I bought this product and at first it worked well and made my hair shiny and smell awesome! However I found using it all the time made by hair dry at the ends when it never used to be. I'm going to try using it only a few times a week to see if thats better because I don't want to completely stop using it because the smell is so nice! I use this along with Jungle and they work well together. I keep them both in plastic soap travel tubs and this keeps them dry. :D

My friend has lovely long, healthy dark blonde hair and she wanted to dye it very blonde. I didn't want her to ruin it (like my dry, peroxided mess) so i recomended this to her. I tried this when i had very light hair and i think it did make my hair alot lighter and shinier without brassiness. My friend has been using it for a while now and she said it took some getting used to, but now her hair is much lighter - its like she got highlights put in. Thank you lush this is a great product.

When i first washed my hair with this i was a bit worried, it feels really different when you wash it out compared to other mainstream shampoos. I have to be honest, it felt like my hair was horrible and greasy. But...but then it dried...My hair had never been softer or brighter. I LOVE this!!

Smells nice and cleans hair but still leaves it shiny. I have not noticed a difference in colour, but expect this may be a gradual thing, and my hair is already very light. I was worried it would make my hair greasy, but it's lovely. My hair is lovely and soft especially if I use it alongside marilyn them finish with American Cream.

Excellent blond shampoo. My hair looks lighter and brighter and I love the smell. Good lather too. My only complaint is it seems to melt away quite quickly and I don't even have it in contact with running water.

I was a bit iffy when ordering this product, I thought it would leave my hair lank and dried out and greasey and frizzy - EHHH COMPLETE OPPOSITE ACTUALLY - my hair has never been in better condition, it's baby-soft and so so healthy looking and feeling!!! Also the smell it leaves in makes me want to swish my hair all over the place! AND...BOY DOES IT LAST LONG.rnPlus, no nasty plastic packaging...could it get any better than this??rnp.s. Works like a charm in conjunction with Marilyn blondies!!

I was really sceptical about solid shampoo but the results were fabulous. My hair is very, very soft after using this. Between this and Marilyn I have incredibly soft and shiny hair. Even with it being so fine, it isn't flyaway anymore. If you've got blonde or highlighted hair, you couldn't find a better shampoo. It's nice to know you're helping the environment too.

Not quite sure about this. It makes the hair airy and soft but it is not yellow more whitish, it´s not very easily lathering, quite a hard piece actually and the scent is in between nice and dull. But I´ll give it another try.

A nice big piece of shampoo bar for you money. I've only used it twice but my unnaturally blonde hair is already lighter, much softer, smoother and shinier! I'm not entirely sure I like the canomile smell, but the affects it has on my hair are well worth it.

not overly sure if it lightens my blonde hair but it certainly makes it soft. I have limp hair and since using this my hair is more volumised which is why I have given it 5 stars as my hair feels and looks better than it did before, also love the smell.

I really like this shampoo it really brightens and brings out the blonde in my hair, it has taken some time to get used to how to use it as at the beginning I always used too much. Just a few swipes over the hair is enough, even if it doesn't have that "clean" feeling in the shower it will do as it dries. Will definately re-purchase this.

I've been using this shampoo for quite a while. I can't really tell if it's doing much to actually lighten my hair, (I'm a natural blonde), but it's a nice shampoo which doesn't seem to dry my hair out and which also smells lovely. I use it with Veganese conditioner, and Marilyn every so often, both of which are fab! It does go a bit squidgy though if you don't let it dry out after you've used it.

I find this dryed my hair out at first but after a while I got used to only rubbing it 3 times around my scalp (a little goes a long way) & by concentrating less on the ends they've become softer. Now I find I can go days between washes (something I could not previously do) & I'm always being asked if I've dyed my hair. Lasts ages too!

Lovely, really took affect to my hair. I have long, thick, curly and constantly straightened hair. Before using the Blonde I comb my hair using a wide toothed comb, lather up well and leave on for five minutes. Afterwards I use Jungle. The first time I used this shampoo (without combing, without Jungle) my hair did tangle but now this method works so well for me I use The Blonde on every wash. I've received compliments on my 'natural' highlights.

i used this on my 6yr old daughters loooong extreamly blonde hair, and its beautifull. no need for conditioner, smells grate, even washed the sun cream out her hair(woops) its just lovely. and now she refuses to wear her hair up, as she looks like a princess. been looking for a blond shampoo i can use on her for ages, baby shampoo just doesnt get the muck out any more.

I Realli wanted to try a solid shampoo and this was the 1st one i tried ,the colour was'nt the same as in the pictures,the shampoo was hard to use and did the same job as a general shampoo.Not one of ur best products :(!x

If you have blonde hair (natural or not so natural), then this is the shampoo for you. It does actually work. I have problems when I go on holiday as the sun, sea and chlorine can have such a drastic effect on my hair. I always take a slice of this product. I can throughly recommend this. Give it a try, you won't regret it....

this was my first time using a solid soap and was a little apprehensive - i really didn't think it would lather up very much and i'd end up using loads, but just a couple of wipes through my hair and i got the most gorgeous thick lather going! lovely calming, soothing smell of camomile - just lovely :) 5 stars definately!

I am a natural blonde with the colour going darker with age, this shampoo helps to lift the colour.rnIt helps to remove tangles, leaves my hair wonderfully soft and with a little more body.

I've used this sporadically so not enough for me to notice any definate colour change but it does clean it well and the smell grows on you too. Since were getting more sunshine I've decided to give it another go.rnAs for storage, I dry my block with my towel when I get out of the bath then leave it in the open air, sat on a shelf, on a face cloth - I hope that helps x

This is fantastic! After one wash my hair was noticeably brighter, blonder and shiner. I didnt find it dried my hair out at all either, I really would reccomend this. No more washing my hair in chamomile tea, ill never use anything else!

I love the scent of this, it quite mild. It leaves my hair feel clean and airy. It hasn't done anything to my hair color, but that's fine.

So when i had my natural hair colour this was AMAZING.rnLike i bought this product again and again because it allways left my hair EXTRA shiney and light.But Now I Dyed my hair darker it kind of drew all the moisture out from it so its no good for damaged dark hair BUT i must say when my hair was light it worked miricles.rnFor boosting natural hair colour Tha Blonde is a must havern:D

Gorgeous smell and lathers up really well, but I found that it dried out the cuticle of the hair and made my hair feel brittle and unmanageable after a few washes. I would recommend the trichomania instead which has a lovely creamy texture and leaves hair feeling sleek and healthy.

Smells nice but the citrusy stuff is not ideal for my sensitive eyes. Not much lather either. Brightened my hair in one wash though!

This is such a delight to use. I had never used a solid shampoo before but i'm hooked now and hate using anything else! Has made my fair, highlighted hair look like i've had 3 months in the sun! Love the smell too.

I had dark brown hair/black naturally but i had light brown highlights put in a few times but recently i had a black all over colour put in and it was sooooo bad !!! so even though i had black hair, the blonde shampoo lifted the black and within a week my hair is already starting to get lighter !!!!! :D sooo amazing

Have used this product daily for a week(thanks to a generous sample from my local store) My hi-lighted hair feels super soft and has a sun kissed look. Off to buy a big chunk and a tin to keep it in. Great!

I'm really happy with this shampoo. It makes loads of foam, smells nice and lets my hair shine. Furthermore it slowly made my hair blonder but without looking coloured. Really like it.

I got this in a recent grab-bag promotion and am glad I did. My hair is brown with grey at the temples - not expecting any colour effects - but I am enjoying the way this lathers up compared to other solid shampoos. It has what can best be described as an 'earthy' scent. Like taking a big whiff of chamomile tea bags in a box. I wish this formula came in the convenient discs that fit in the travel tin. Maybe I'll have to get creative with a cookie cutter...

Not a huge fan of this, made my hair knotted and have to use lots of conditioner with it! Didn't notice my hair was much blonder either, disappointed

This is the best shampoo ever! i have colour lightened hair, so it has a tendency to dry out, but not with this shampoo. It makes my hair feel healed and soft and clean without being squeeky. I don't know if it affects the colour at all, but i am addicted to this shampoo. I ran out and had to use another all week, and my hair has not been happy at all. Plus, it smells divine!

I am a natural blond and find this product brillaint I recived some last christmas as a gift and now will not use any other shampoo. It does make my hair look blonder and last for ages if I am going away for a few days I just cut a small piece of to use so it is very handy no big shampoo bottle to pack.

I am naturally dark blonde and I believe this product has definitely lightened my hair. The best thing is that it lasts for ages and uses so little packaging. I spent about £5 on a block 4 months ago and I still have some left. As with all Lush hair products, at first one can be a little let down by the lack of gloss, but after a few washes you realise how much your hair appreciates all the natural ingredients, rather than being smothered in plastic goo.rnQuality stuff.

Love this! Its so unusual and that has got to be good in a world where every shampoo is boring and the same. Its a bit scary to look at but did the job leaving my hair smelling fab. I'm not blonder yet but my hair is soft and easy to manage. A tip that works for me.... store your Blonde in an airtight pot and keep adding a bit of hot water to it. I was dying to use this as i read all the reviews about it but then when i tried it about 4 times this week i noticed no difference in my hair whatsover only that it dried it and overall my hair just didnt have that freshly wwashed effect reallly disappointed ;-( even the smell didn't last long...

This shampoo is fab! It's deadsimple to use, just rub over wet hair once or twice and it lathers up straight away. It smells fab, gets my hair super clean, makes it a brighter blond and leaves it soft too - what more could you ask for?!!Oh and it lasts for ages as well - brilliant.

This actually works! After only one wash my hair looked significantly blonder, and it makes your hairlovely andsoft. I am not a big fan of the smell but it's not a bad smell at all, and my fiance thinks it smells great. I thought this would be really weird to use but it's not, I just rub the block over my hair and it lathers quickly and easily so a fairly small block lasts a long time! In fact, the shop assistant told me that approx 1 gram of it is used per wash. Overall a great shampoo.

My daughter got a free sample of this when we went to the Maidstone branch, now she raving on about it, so I gave it go, didn't like the smell much but it made my highlights more noticeable and left my scalp lovely and clean. Lush can't you make a storage pot for this please? as it went all soggy in the soap dish XXX

Its Actually works, and stops those annoying darkroots from popping up.But!Must be constantly used or those annoying dark roots pop up!

i use this product cause my hair lovessss camomile and this thing is stuffed full with it. i bought it first cause it reminded me of all the smells in india but now i use it because my hair is sooo shiney and soft after useing it.

I have really fine blonde hair, and most shampoos either weigh it down or make it feel greasy. I tried this shampoo on the off chance it might be nice (because it smelled lovely) and it is by far the best shampoo I have used to date! My hair is squeaky clean when I rinse it, and feels really soft and light when dry. It doesn't weigh my hair down, and it cleans my hair so well that I can get away with washing it every two days, instead of every day!

I think this shampoo is great! It brightens my hair really well and it lasts ages. Smells lovely too!! I break small pieces off at a time to keep the block dry, I store it in greaseproof paper and then in a sandwich bag, lol! It seems to work.

I bought a chunk of this wonder shampoo at the weekend from the shop in Stratford. I am very impressed with it. A couple of swirls around my head with the full block and away I go. As for storage, I have a wire storage shelf in my shower and the block sits there and seems very happy (not slimy or anything). I am amazed how far a little goes. I am now trying to get the hang of the solid conditioner and shall try the tip of leaving it standing in a little water.

I used this shampoo for the first time recently. All the family really love it and it lasst for ages. We wanted to take it on holiday but couldn't find a soap box the right size. Eventually found something to help. It travels in it and sits by the bath in it too - it's a false teeth box from my local pharmacy! The lid needs to be off as much as possible to stop it turning to sludge!

I'm naturally dark blonde with a few highlights, and this brightens up my whole head, without making it look as if I've been dipped in a bucket of bleach.Lasts ages, froths up really well (a little goes a very long way) and leaves hair and scalp feeling squeaky clean.In answer to Faymous (review before mine), I'd highly recommend American Cream with this - I've just started usingit and it's brilliant for smoothing out tangles and leaving your hair silky.

I love this product but probably for all the wrong reasons!i saw no change atal in my hair colour but the smell wow!i was caught smelling my hair!people must of thought i was mad i think patients is the key to this shampoo!

got a lump of this online and got what seemed to be loads! it does make a difference to my (bottle!) blonde hair and i use it alternately with Daddy-O shampoo and always with American Cream or Retread conditioner. wasn't convinced it would keep the brassiness away but with the combination of the above my hair seems to need colouring less often and i can get away with my 'roots' for longer. thumbs up for that! i'm not sure i'm mad for the fragrance but the conditioners i use seem to mask any smell of it so it's not a problem!

i actually dye my hair darker than its natural colour which is blonde. My mum actually uses this one however i forgot to take my shampoo into the bathroom so i thought i''d give this one a go and i was plesently surprised. It smelled lovely and frothed up really well, It left my hair brown with golden coloured spangles which looks lovely.

I have really oilly skin , but like to use natural products that dont dull my hair colour , as i have to wash my hair alot i thought about trying this, i have blonde highlights and a naturall mousebrown colour.this shampoo has done it wonders , it shines really well and doesnt get greasey + it lasts forever :)

This is an excellent, natural shampoo. It smells fresh and clean and lathers well. I keep it in a soap dish, although I think its best away from the shower area. Its best to chip a small piece off to wash your hair each time, rather than using the whole piece! I have naturally blonde hair but have added highlights and it brings out the colours beautifully! I also have greasy hair and am able to use this on a daily basis, with Lush conditioner of course which is also excellent! I was astonishingly surprised with the excellence of this product but have already purchased enough to last till christmas ;0) thank you lush!

I love this shampoo as much as the next girl, it's slowly but surely bringing out some lovely highlights and it smells great - I just don't know how to store it! At the moment I keep it in a plastic food container tub, in it's original plastic wrapper, but its getting too soft and wet in there. Please please please if anyone has any tips on where/how to store it, I would be very grateful! xxx

The Blonde is Amazing.My hair went slightly darker in the winter, after using it a few times, it was almost as light as GWEN STEFANI'S HAIR.So i definately reccomend this product to EVERYONE!!!!!!!

....And my hair!My hair was becoming increasingly dull. I was so tired of trying different shampoo so i decidied to take the natural root... and i've never looked back! My hair has returned to it's naturalgolden blonde self and smells great.. people have really noticed a difference in it and sadly they think i just dyed it.. grrr... it really resuced my hair.. My hair was also a bit oily -in a bad way, not before long it cleared up and now it stays cleaner for longer.This stuff is the way to go!!

I'm not blond and don't have any aspirations to be, but my mid-brown hair has some natural gingery-gold bits which can get dull over the winter or straw-like from sun, sea and chlorine. Reincarnate is good on my scalp, adds shineand smells great, but doesn't domuch for the lighter tones in my hair. This seems to bring them out after just a few washes, andmy hair iscertainly shinier and has more volume - about as good as Big.Even better, it's really good at preventing grease.My hair isstill looking good by the end of two days, and just about tolerable on day three. Very few shampoos can keep my hair this clean for this long.I have excema on my head, and this doesn't irritate it.Given that I'm not the intended market for this shampoo, it's working brilliantly.

I got this one a week ago and already I can see nice results! I am a natural dark blonde with ligh brown dyed hair, with highlights and red dye and allll sorts underneath! Not only has this neutralised my hair but it's brought out lovely highlights, and given it a lovely glow! Also, and I'm not sure if this would work for others, but before I used Lush my scalp was terrible and really got me down since I were 11. I'm now 23 and since using Lush shampoos, particularily this one, my scalp has been wonderful. No problems with dandruff or itchyness. I think it's getting rid of chemical shampoo and using these which does the trick. Plus, my hair is so nice, shiny and even tame! I'm sticking to this one. So happy!

I have long blonde hair which gets greasy at roots and dry at the ends. I love this shampoo and use it with Veganese conditioner. They both smell amazing together!

i really like this product because it smells divine - lemon - and gives a fabulous shine to my hair. and to those of you who can't see the colour, try it in the sun! after my first wash with it, all my friends at the stables commented on the shine and asked me if i'd lightened it! great shampoo, thanks lush!

I'm waiting for my hair to dry after using this with Marilyn hair moisturiser and i can already see that my hair has definitely become much more gold-ey. Plus it feels super soft! Not a big fan of the smell though but it doesn't stick to my hair.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and I absolutely love everything about it. My hair is so soft and shiny. My hair used to get greasy within 24 hrs but I only have to wash it every other day now. I love it!

My highlights look brighter after only one use. Just took a tiny bit off the bar and added a bit of water and rubbed hands together until lather started and then shampooed. Strong smell which was off putting initially but is growing on me. Think goodbye to expensive salon shampoo!!

Highlighted my hair very well but does anyone else have a problem with it not lathering well??? =S

=S Well when i started to use this i was worried because i have v. long hair that it would lather much, i was right. When i got out of the shower my hair didnt feel clean but how wrong was i !! i had a few comments throughout the day ' have you lightened your hair!' .. this was after the first use! I am so glad i got this.Must have :DOnly giving it a four because it didnt lather too well.

Wow...I love everything about this shampoo. I wasn't reallyworried about whether it would lighten my hair (my hair lightens reallyeasily, so if it's worked for others I thought it had to work for me),but I thought I would leave it until I'd used it for about 2 weeksbefore I wrote this review. My hair as it comes out of my head must be a chocolatey light brown,but I never see this colour on top, as it goes golden blonde seeminglyas soon as it glimpses the sun. However, in winter it's less bright, soI thought this shampoo would be a good one to try. And after using itfor 2 weeks my hair is now gleaming blonde with pale gold highlights.Not only that, but it's really silky and feels strong (strange, Iknow!). This is the best shampoo I've ever used, full stop. I wasn'tsure about the smell at first, but now I love it, and although itleaves my hair squeaky clean, it doesn't feel dry later on (I use itwith American Cream). ALSO (sorry this is so long, but I really cannotpraise this product enough - just buy it!) - it lasts for ages - Ichopped a tiny slice (less than 10g) off my 100g block to fit into ashampoo tin, and it's lasted me over a week! Ahhh I just love TheBlonde sooo much

My mum bought this for me for my birthday and I haven't used anything else since. After about a week of using it I noticed that my hair was much blonder than it had been. The shampoo is great at cleaning as well and smells really good. Everyone has been asking me if I have had highlights done because it has bought my natural ones out. I love it. xxx

I bought this after starting to grow my natural colour back. I'd had my hair ginger(!) and then purple, so hadn't seen my own colour in a while!! Sadly, when it did start coming through, it was no where near the colour it had been, the dye and lack of sunlight had prevented it from going lighter... This mirical barhas rescued my naturalblonde streaks!! People pay a lot of money toget what my hair does, and I only have to use the blonde to make sure mine staysthis way!! (With added lightness to the darker parts aswell!) I'm not going to buy those yucky-poo chemicalshampoo's any more,this smells great!!So Thankyou Lush!!! ^_^

I bought this as an experiment - I could no longer afford professional highlights and I hoped that this would delay the need to get my roots touched up so often!The lightening effect was so subtle and gradual that I really didn't notice it - but others did, and I didn't have to head back to the hairdresser's for a long time :-)The biggest benefit? A £5 block lasted me for months! Making it far cheaper than any other shampoo I've tried, as well as being better quality.

I was given a tester of this shampoo after chatting to a lush advisor...Wow, I was blown away when I used it! I'd always used an expensive salon shampoo and conditioner, so when I ran back tolush to buy a bar the price didn't shock me and it last's ages, I have naturally curly hair that I often straighten, since using this shampoo my hair looks amazing and stays salon straight for about 3-4 days, Irecommend this product to anyone who wishes to look absolutelygorgeous! I have to confess...I didn't notice a difference in my hair colour, but it's condition more than makes up for that!

Instead of cutting it up, I use it just like a shampoo bar. It gets really lathery really quickly and smells like a garden! I normally have to wash my hair every day due to it being fine and getting greasy quickly, but I found with this that I don't have to anymore! Definitely worth the money.

i bought a big chunk of this and cut it up into smaller bars,i have only been using it for two weeks and it has made my natural highlights stand out already i usually wash my hair everyday but i don't need to with this, i use american dream conditioner with it now and again my hair looks and feels good .

I love this shampoo, it smells utterly divine and leaves your hair really clean and soft, plus it lasts ages which is great news. I have typical mousy light brown hair that goes blonder in the summer. I have been using The Blonde for the last month or so, and today when I went for my 6 week hair trim, my hairdresser asked me when I had coloured my hair, and said the lighter shade looked fab on me! So there you go peeps, if a hairdresser thinks it's highlighted my hair, it definitely works. It isn't instant though, I started noticing it most after a couple of weeks. Lush, I adore you, PLEASE come to the Isle of Wight!!!

I love this shampoo! I first used it after a long riding lesson during the winter. My hair always gos a mousy dark blonde shade in the winter, and a golden strawberry colour in summer, after 2 weeks of using this I found my hair was almost at its summer shade!!It left my hair in excellent condition, with hilights showing, and it was soft, bit not too soft. I use it normally along side Jungle Solid Conditioner, and my hair always feels clean and excellent! I also sometimes use Jumping Juniper Bar Shampoo, Squeaky Green Bar Shampoo, I Love Juicy Liquid Shampoo, and American Cream Liquid Conditioner, and these all work just as well (But don't give hilight inhancement) And often to treat my hair when I've straightened and blow dried it lots, I use Marilyn Hair Moisturiser. I recommend this to anyone who has blonde hair and want to make it lighter!

This is my favourite Lush shampoo for many reasons. I love the smell, it lathers up really nicely and it makes my hair feel really soft. I have problems with dandruff and I actually find this shampoo is more effective than Soak and Float for calming my scalp. It's lovely and gentle and really easy to use. However, I haven't noticed much blonding effect on my dark blonde hair, but then again I have only been using it for 2 weeks.

I Love The Colour Of This Product Bright Yellow! It Couldn't Look Much Better. It Left My Hair Feeling Velvety And Smelled Gorgeous, It Didn't Make It Greasy And Along With Jungle Conditioner, Made My Hair Smell Great. It Didn't Really MakeMy HairThat Much More Blonde But My Hair Hasn't Been Really Blonde For Years. So I don't Really Know About That.Also It Foamed Up Really Easily. It's Great! I've never been disappointed with lush before, and i really wanted to like this product, but it just didnt give the resultsI was expecting. I found it dried out my hair even when i used conditioner, and the blonde-ness didn't really alter :(

This was a bit messy to use and didn't turn my hair as blonde as I expected it to; but my hair does have a nice shine to it, isn't greasy at all and smells of marigold all day.

Not only is it making my hi-lights look brighter its stopped my hair from being so greasy. lovely lovely shampoo

Normaly have too dye my mousey brown hair every 3 weeks .and oh joy lush cant see a root insight if this keeps working wont ever have too dye my hair .That would be a huge plus for this shampoo along with the nice smell and it having no chemicals .

I am so pleased with the results of this shampoo. In the winter my natural blonde hair goes quite mousy but even the first time I used it going into work a friend asked me ifI had had highlights done.When first used it, never having used solid shampoo before, I was convinced it wouldnt clean my hair whenI didnt have all the suds you get with normal shampoo, but it leaves my hair lovely.I think its great value for money lasting longer than my old blonde shampoo which i used to buy from my hairdresser and the effect are much much better.

i am a natural blonde it's dull in winter and very light in the summer, after trying it for the first time this morning my hair is already a lot lighter than it was, this will always be on my shopping list now, a great lightner that doesn't distroy the hair, what more could you ask for, say goodbye to hair colours in winter!

This shampoo is excellent for blondes! Even when you use it for the first time it lifts the colour back in your hair! I would recommend it to any blonde that doesn't want to use chemicals to brighten their hair back up! Also excellent for winter, when blondes go dull, this shampoo is just excellent and i give it a high rating!

I've been using this shampoo for about 2 years now and have never found one better for my blonde hair. It makes dull, winter hair look shiny and bright again, and is perfect to use if you want to make your 'in need of a dye' locks look just-coloured. The longer you use it, the more effective it is and the lighter it makes your hair. I often get asked if I've just dyed my hair after using this before blow-drying. It smells amazing and is the best shampoo in the world for blondes who want fabulous hair without having to use tonnes of chemicals. I use it with American Cream and treat myself to Marilyn Hair Moisturiser every few weeks for even shinier, lighter hair!

Lots of people say the solid shampoos are expensive, but if you have long hair like me, they're a bargain, because they last ages! I love this product, and while i've yet to notice a massive difference in the colour, it's ashampoo and it smells fab!

I started using The Blonde around 2 -3 weeks ago and i love it! I'm using it along with the Veganese conditioner and my hair is in the best condition its been in for ages, its doesn't make it too soft, but it makes it soft enough and my hair is so amazingly clean!
