This is my favourite ballistic of all time. The smell is beautiful - really sweet without being too sickly - and it really lasts on my skin (especially when followed up with Vanilla Puff Powder!). It turns the water a very bright yellow, almost neon green really, which is fairly entertaining, and it also makes the water really soft. I like to use this at the end of a long hard day - it's really relaxing, and the fragrance cheers me up.

It is my favourite smell in the whole of lush, it doesn't have that many bubbles but it is soothing and just overall lovely! I also went ahead and bought vanilla dee-lite and vanilla puff powder, so if you love this product buy those too!

This is totally gorgeous! Got it in the 'Sweet & Dreamy' gift parcel for my birthday recently and had completely forgotten how much I love Lush products!! It does leave a slight stain around the bath, but all is forgiven cos it smells sooo yummy. It's proper vanilla, not the sickly stuff. Followed it with Vanilla Puff Powder and Vanillary solid perfume and smell delicious, even if I do say so myself! :)

Thought I'd hate this. Boy was I wrong!! Got it in the Greetings From gift and I couldn't get out the bath! It was so comforting: relaxing and uplifting at the same time. Very sophisticated smell- not sickly at all like a lot of vanilla smells (which is why I thought id hate it). Gorgeous ballistic!

Smells similiar to Vanilla Dee-Lite, but somehow not quite as nice. Leaves the bath water looking very yellow, like wee, as another reviewer said. The scent stayed on the skin a bit after a bath. I also took out the black bit based on another reviewer's advice.

I liked this ballistic. It smelt really sweet and it was perfect for warming up on a rainy day! I turned the water a really sunny yellow colour. I would buy again!

Not had this yet but it is on order. I love smells like chocolate, toffee, sweet, fudge, honey smells so i hope this will be a treat!

I LOVE this product! I buy it every time i go into lush.rnIt smells absolutly gorgous, i just want to gobble it up. The smell does stay with the bath, but doesnt linger on your skin after, which is a shame.rnThough, it did stain my tub a little bit. 5 Stars for this! I love the smell!! I used this in the evening, it turned the bath a wacky acid yellow, but left a residue (hey, what is it that a bit of 'Mr Muscle' can't handle?). On the other hand it gave my skin a lovely fragrance, which lasted the WHOLE night and a few hours of the morning! That's AMAZING! Its beautiful, it's fragrance goes through top note, middle notes and bass notes ever so slowly, its such a treat!!

Oh i just so luv this vanilla fountain, it's just so vanillary i luv the scent and i love vanilla! it's still a treat for me!

Gorgeous scent, lasted the whole bath and stayed on my skin for a while afterwards too. The only bad thing was the vanilla pod that it comes with, I'd advise just pulling it out before putting the ballistic in the water tbh. Other than that, beautiful ballistic, loved it :)

I LOVE THIS!!! Very rich complex vanilla bean scent. I am totally in love with this one. Also, the guy in the shop demo'd this one mixed with the comforter and it was TOTAL HEAVEN! Perfect berry cream soda scent. You will love it.

Oh my gosh. Ordered one which i cant seem to use!!! As soon as i pick it up, it wont leave my nose until it lulls me to sleep! Im not a HUGE vanilla fan, but this is absolutely too good to be true. I would like to smell like this everyday of my life!

Love it! :) Mums happy because I found one that she likes and that all dissolves and you dont get any funny surprises like colourful paper which clogs the drain up. Smels comforting and smooths the skin while bathing.

It smelled really vanilla before its dissolved...but in the bath,it smells more lemony.I would prefer it smell like vanilla more. But the smell is nice and calm. :)

sorry lush but this is the only bath ballistic maybe the only lush product i have tried and not liked the vanilla is to much of a real scent for me much prefer the sweeter than sweet or wake you up scents and i really cant get away with the colour this turns the bath water

Okay this product smell quite nice when solid but in the bath gave off little scent from what i could smell , because of this i don't think it was worth the money but left my skin soft ( i do see that because lush products are hand made that there is a bit of difference each batch so i think that i will try this again because it was nice

Gorgeous smell, left a nice lingering scent on my skin and in the bathroom. However the colour it turned the water was not appealing at all, and the vanilla pod left me covered in little black bits. Love the smell but think I'll stick to the perfume and body lotion!

Lovely smell, and it hangs around in the bathroom and on skin for a good time. The resulting yellow colour it gives the bathwater is a bit odd, but worth it, and it didn't leave a stain. I wish Lush would make a bubble bar with this scent- everything is better with bubbles!

It's fun to watch one of these fizz around the tub. The colour of the water is unappealing, there's no residual bubbles or fizz, and the smell when you're bathing isn't that distinct; but it leaves a lovely subtle vanilla scent on bedsheets and clothing afterwards that's soothing (and oddly addictive). I personally like that there's a slimy sliver of vanilla pod that remains after the powdery part has dissolved: it looks amusingly like a fuse and it feels nice to apply for spot-on fragrancing.

I really rate this - I'm not normally a vanilla person (vanillary really didn't work for me) but I bought vanilla dee-lite and the vanilla powder because they don't smell artificial, and this is exactly the same. The little vanilla pod is a lovely touch. Smells lovely, sweet but not fake, reminds me of the vanilla sugar my mum used to make. But it does turn the bath water a very erm...unusual shade - not really my favourite colour to bathe in!

Got this in a goody bag and i have to say i was pleasantly surprised. I don't normally like Vanilla but this was really nice (apart from the stalk floating around, had to fish it out). Would def buy this next time i'm in store. x x

I really didnt like the smell, its too sweet for me.

Fantastic smell loved the idea but sadly won't be buying again.I kept it 3days with my other lush stuff,still in the bag in an air-tight mini-fridge.I wet it under the shower, used the foam as a bodywash, but after about 3 fizzy bursts noticed a small grub thing that looked like a very small,dead caterpillar on it.I'm confident it wasn't already in the bathroom as i scrubbed & disinfected it the night before & the window had been shut,probably a one off-but put me off the product for life:(

I'm sorry Lush, i slagged this ballistic off, didnt rate it at all, untill i got a free vanillary body lotion recently, i'm addicted! and the vanilla soap...wow! I really want to eat it. So i bought a gint vanilla balliti and lobbed it all in the bath last night then smothered meself in other vanillary products, its turning me a into a primadonna and if i dont get a vanallary gift set off santa claus then i'm gonig to defanstrate all of his elves!

this was one of the first products that i used and i absolutaly fell in love with it. i have fallen in love with almost all of the vanillary range i have tried a tester of the vanilla frangance in store and all i need to try is vanilla in the mist. i have started to tory other lush products but vanilla fountian is my faveorite

Was really looking forward to this, but it was disappointing. The smell didn't linger at all in the bath, and it just turned a horrible urine colour, and I felt quite gross!

This is a truly super little gem. I am in love with the vanillary fragrance and the scent of this stayed true in the bath water, ddn't fade into nothingness like some BBs seem to do and made for a really luxurous soak. A definate re-purchase for me!

Bought this in Leeds today and it smells fab, my boyfriend says I smell good enough to eat and my skin is sooo soft. Have to say as well that the staff in Leeds are really great.

I took me a month after buying the product before I actually used it, just because I left it out in my room and it filled my room with its wonderful scent. After a long and tiring day I finally decided to use it and it is amazing! It makes the bath a sunshine yellow colour, smells lovely and made my skin so smooth and soft after! I will definately buy again and I would love to try the Vanilla Mountain!

this is one of my favourite bath ballistics - but i used only a quater of it for one bath which was enough to fill my whole house with the amazing scent ! i also put one in my bedroom in a candle holder - (although i didnt light it) and it filled my room with its scent aswell as looking very pretty ^-^ xxx

Was very happy with this product - smelt good enough to eat! It was my first ever bath ballistic and was very happy. I was told in the shop to use all of it, but I didn't think it was worth the money. I then halfed it and found that more than enough, so you could probably get about 2-3 baths out of this one bath ballistic. Only think is that the vannila stick in it floats about in the bath!

This attracted me as soon as I went into the shop. It looked so great and smelt the same. I was using it when I was feeling really sad because I was away from my family. It cheered me up and I loved watching it work.

Looked like a fountain, Smelt like vanilla, and loved it to bits. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because you got rid of Vanilla Mountain, it's big brother, or sister, I loved the Vanilla Mountain and I though the Vanilla Fountain was good, but wasn't big enough! :( Please bring me back Vanilla Mountain!!

I bought one of these then got a goodie bag which had another one in so I had two to use! I put it in the bath and I'm not a fan of ballistics (I prefer showers)but it fizzed so much and the water went bright yellow! The water felt soft and buttery but I had to scrub the bath after because there was a line of yellow around the edge. I would use it again though!

This product looks gorgeous and smells gorgeous! I had it in my room for about 3 days before i used it and it made my room smell divine! I have been looking for a bath bomb or bath bar equivalent to Flying Fox, which is one of my faves. I tried Youki-Hi but that just didn't do it for me. There was jasmine but no honey. This is the nearest thing I've found to getting the joy of Flying Fox into my bath. Its warming and relaxing with jasmine to make you feel sexy. If only it had honey in it, my life would be complete. Ah well, its lovely none the less!

The product itself smells lovely, but the bath water did not smell as strongly of vanilla as I'd have hoped. However, it was one of the best for skin-softening. Recommended for shared bathing!

This was a new one to try for me, I tend to stick to my old favourites. It smelt lovely, almost good enough to eat and was very inviting. However, it left a rather nasty looking yellow rim around the bath which I really had to scrub several times. Disappointed.

I didn't think I'd be keen on this one as I'm not a fan of the sickly sweet vanilla fragrances. But ooo, I love this! It smells gorgeous, I can't get enough of it.

This bath ballistic looks kinda cool and when you drop it in the bath it fizzes away like billy-o!!! I was a little put off by the colour it turned the water - a rather bright yellow! The scent was a little dissapointing not really strong enough for me but my skin did feel really soft after. Will probably try a different ballistic next time.

I haven't even used this ballistic yet and it's mellow goodness has already permeated our lives... Been trying to rent our house for some time with little success, as soon as this bad boy appeared on the shelf, everyone emerges from the bathroom with a soporific glow; we've had 3 offers so far! Yummy! This is quite a gentle but lasting fragrance, sort of smelt like a fabric conditioner (a nice 'natural' one). I felt completely relaxed and soothed, like surrounded in a bed of soft blankets. Definitely one of my favourite bath bombs now.

I always buy Vanilla Fountain. I love Vanilla. I found it smelt a bit like caramel. It aslo so smelt a bit like the hair product american cream. It is my favourite bath bomb EVER! when the bigger version came out I was so excited. I can't wait yo try it.

Really dissapointed, I dont see what the fuss was about, didnt smel like vanilla. Maybe too many stinky things in one go?? I dont know, but I wasn't impressed.

It has taken me a very long time to try Vanilla Fountain because I'm not keen on vanilla. I have just got out of my Vanilla Fountain bath and it was absolutely heavenly - with the mix of Jasmine, it is exotic and sensual - just divine! I can't wait for the rest of the vanilla range!

This product didnt give off much sent when it hit the water. it made my skin feel very soft but that was all. the water turned yellow too and other than that nowthing much more i can say.

I really liked this one, the Vanilla's so overwhelming but gorgeous! I'm such a fan of sweet smells so this was perfect for me!

I highly recommend this ballistic, it's yellow colour and inviting fragrance make it good for children. Though teens and adults should use this ballistic in the morning because the colour it turns the bath is vibrant and wakes you up.

I brought this for my husband cause he loves vanilla stuff. However, he said it looked like he was getting into a bath of elephant pee!!!!!!!!!!! After he got over this, he absolutely loved it's smell!

This was a brilliant Bath Ballistic - really REALLY fizzy! It smells wonderful and the vanilla pod doesn't leave a mess, which is a bonus. This goes particularly well with the Christmas Kisses bubble bar, as the cinnamon and vanilla scents really complement each other. Will definitely be buying this for my friends for Christmas!

I was very disappointed also becuase it is true the colour is very off putting and I could not smell the vanilla. The pod has no purpose unless you really want to smell vanilla u could just sniff that throughout your bath, it does smell gorgous.

I was slightly disappointed that I did'nt get a vanilla pod in my fountain, thats the cherry on the cake really isn't it? Nevermind, i popped it in the tub and had great fun chasing it around in the water as it fizzed about. It disappeared very quickly, having turned the bath a sickly yellow green. Sadly I could'nt smell the scent at all. Still, I had my porridge soap to cheer me up! Oh well.

Was a little sceptical at first as Vanilla isn't one of my favourite scents but was completely surprised by the yummy scents of this one. It leaves your skin feeling soft and especially when its cold the smell leaves you feeling warm and glowing.

This may be my new favourite bath bomb for the scent - it is so delicious and makes you smell edible and gorgeous. BUT I really hate the way it badly stains the bath afterwards, as it takes quite a bit of scrubbing to get off and this not what I want just after a relaxing soak. I'm sure Lush could make this without so much colour in it and this is a major fault for me. I've bought another one since but won't be using them regularly :(

This is a really gorgeous smelling bomb, both in and out of the bath. The only thing I didn't like was the way it turns the bath water bright yellow! My husband walked in and thought I had wee'd in the bath!!!!!

I'm giving Vanilla Fountain 5 out of 5 and I haven't even used it. Why? Because it's been sat on my kitchen table for a couple of days and now the entire downstairs of my house is infused with this wonderful smoky, not-too-sweet vanilla scent. I don't care if it doesn't work as a ballistic, it makes a great room scenter! A solid perfume in this scent would be heavenly (hint, hint ;) ).

As the first reviewer of this product, I'd like to say YUM! Definetly worth buying, smells great, I smelt great, house smely great etc. Nice bright colour and I wasn't disspoitned in any way at all. Spicy vanilla scent and totally great! Go For It!
