It`s yellow and smells of bananas and is quite disgracefully addictive; once you start to wash with it you will be drawn back again and again, deliberately getting your hands dirty so you can sneak into the bathroom and use it just once more. (Do watch out for other banana soaps that dont actually have any bananas in them, wont you? Usually they have synthetic banana scent but none of the benefits of the real thing.) We use fresh, organic bananas because they are such a brilliant skin softener and add yoghurt because it`s good for your skin and labdanum resin because it smells deeply rich and exotic and because it`s said to be good for mature skin and wrinkles. Now you see why it`s so difficult to give up.
