Bon Bain Bonnard

Mo invented the Bon Bain Bonnard to accompany the artist`s exhibition at the Tate Britain in 1998. We think it`s the only Bath Ballistic ever to be exhibited there (in the shop, not on the walls). Bonnard was famous for his canvases featuring his wife, Marthe, having a good old soak in the tub at their home in Provence. Mo made it white, homage to his work White Interior, then she threw in some post-impressionist smatterings of blue, yellow and pink sea salt, reminiscent of the sky, sand and terracotta roof tiles featured in Bonnard`s work. It`s scented with roses and oranges, a bit like M. et Mme. Bonnard`s garden (possibly), for everyone in search of a little inspiration.
