Lots of Lush products look like something they arent. People are astonished when they smell Alkmaar soap and get jasmine up the nose instead of cheese. The Gumback Express Smoothie, it has been pointed out, looks like curry because the bright yellow colour from the bananas and gardenia make it look the colour of turmeric in Indian food. When you smell it, youll realise that once again its merely a Lush challenge to the senses; the banana and labdanum scent (same as Sympathy for the Skin) comes as a sweet, fruity surprise. At this point youll want to dip your hands into the pot, smooth the soft soap all over your skin, scrub with the ground almond shells and feel the glycerine, apricot and almond oils moisturising your grateful body. (Heres hoping that by now you are at home in the bathroom and not in a Lush shop on your local high street.)
