18:28:47 - Interesting!
I ordered the "Six of the Best" trials because I didn't want to blow loads on something I've never smelt before. This way I can see what I like before I buy confidently.
I tried this just this morning. In the bottle & freshly applied, you get a lemony hit, mixed with ylang ylang & what I'm assuming is a touch of Bergamot (though I can't swear by as I've never smelt it solo). Its definitely a warm, oil-burner like essence initially, which I'm really growing fond of. There is a hit of an orangeness almost as it begins to settle on the skin, and thats when the cinamon/spiceness starts to show if you breathe it in deeply. That spice stays as after its had time to calm, the "baking apple pie" scent shows up. I admit, I was expecting that immediatly & was disappointed on first applying on not smelling apples & spices. I was pleasantly surprised when sniffing my wrist, letting my fiance have a sniff, then letting myself smell again that I noticed it. As with Keep It Fluffy, it isn't so foody that people will think you're concealing slices of apple pie in your pockets. It's as if it's been preened and dressed into a fragrance that is wearable, and its really quite lovely.
I'm still a little uncertain if it's "me" so to speak. But I wouldn't sneeze at getting this as a gift, or if all my other perfume had none. Best thing? No chemical wafts causing coughing fits like you get with a commercial eau de toilette. I'm fed up of coughing. I'd have this any day over any big brand.
